BTTH: The Legend Of Xiu Emperor

Chapter 58: The Final Day

The next day.

Today is the most anticipated day.

The champion of this year's clan competition will be crowned.

Unlike previous competitions, this year's event is laden with hope and stakes.

Everyone knows that the winner this year will undoubtedly be Xiu.

But who is this "Xiu"?

It is none other than the Soul Clan's young prodigy, Hun Xiu.

---

In the Square.

A crowd of spectators gathered, eagerly awaiting the outcome.

In past competitions, debates would arise over who might emerge victorious.

But this year's competition was different—there was no debate.

The first-place winner had already been decided in the minds of the spectators.

Instead, the conversation focused on how Hun Xiu would claim victory.

"One move? Or maybe three moves?"

"It'll be one move," someone asserted confidently.

"No… it could take three moves," another speculated.

The noise of the discussions spread throughout the square, growing louder with each passing moment.

High above, on the martial arts stage, four competitors stood, their ears catching the crowd's chatter.

Hun Xiu ignored the voices below, remaining calm as he gripped his wooden sword.

Hun Feng, Hun Yu, and Hun Huan'er, however, felt their confidence waver at the spectators' dismissive tone.

They couldn't help but think, "Do they really have no faith in us?"

But then they remembered the terrifying strength Hun Xiu had displayed in the past. Helpless smiles crept onto their faces.

Indeed, the title of champion this year already belonged to Hun Xiu.

Clan elder Hun Dun looked at the four competitors and spoke with a calm yet firm tone:

"You are standing here because you are the strongest contenders for first place in this year's clan competition."

His words caused Hun Feng and the other two to exchange bitter smiles.

"Strongest contenders?"

"Heh..."

They knew these words were just a formality. The truth was that they were only here to participate, while Hun Xiu had already secured the title.

But Hun Dun continued, undeterred:

"This year's competition will have different rules."

"The last person standing on the martial arts stage—while smiling—will be declared the winner."

Hun Dun then added, "Which means… you are allowed to team up against the strongest contender."

Hun Feng, Hun Yu, and Hun Huan'er were momentarily stunned.

Hun Xiu, too, raised his eyebrows and cast a glance at Hun Tiandi, who sat on the high platform.

Hun Tiandi returned his gaze with a faint smile, as if to say, "Yes, this is my arrangement."

Hun Xiu sighed internally, realizing that he was being specifically targeted.

---

In the square, whispers spread like wildfire.

"Isn't this rule specifically targeting Young Master Hun Xiu?"

"Brother, remove the words 'isn't'—this rule is targeting him."

"But honestly, if Hun Feng and the others don't team up, they won't stand a chance against him."

"Heh… and even if they do team up, what makes you think they'll succeed?"

"That's true. Whether it's one-on-one or a group effort, Hun Xiu is unmatched."

The spectators sighed in unison, lamenting the plight of Hun Feng and the others.

---

Hun Feng, Hun Yu, and Hun Huan'er briefly entertained the idea of teaming up but quickly dismissed it.

Even together, they knew they were no match for Hun Xiu.

Clan elder Hun Dun frowned at their reluctance. This was not the outcome he wanted. He turned to Hun Tiandi, silently asking for guidance.

Hun Tiandi nodded subtly, though he felt disappointed in the three competitors.

Hun Dun took a deep breath and addressed Hun Xiu directly:

"Hun Xiu, step forward and announce your current realm and strength."

The square fell silent.

The spectators were stunned by this unexpected turn of events.

---

"Wait, what's going on? I thought they were going to declare him the winner!"

"Why are they making him announce his strength first?"

"Actually… I'm curious. What level has Young Master Hun Xiu reached?"

"Dou Zong? Dou Zun? Or perhaps… Dou Sheng?"

The crowd, initially confused, quickly became eager. The square grew so silent that even the rustling of leaves could be heard.

All eyes were on the white-robed figure standing confidently on the martial arts stage.

Even Hun Feng and the other two leaned in, curious to finally learn the extent of Hun Xiu's power.
