A BLACK MOON KNIGHT

Chapter 5: THE REVELATION

Back at the hospital, Evan lay in bed, his frustration mounting. The situation felt impossible—he had no idea how this had happened, no clue how to fix it. How was he even alive when his soul wasn't in his body? These swirling emotions made him feel weak and more isolated. He felt utterly alone, unable to meet his brother privately and confined to the room due to his health condition. All he wanted was to return to his own body, live his life again, and restore everything to how it was before.

After some time, Evan forced himself to calm down and gather his strength. He decided that he needed to talk to his brother and reveal everything, no matter how crazy it sounded.

Just then, he saw Jaxon passing by his room. Acting on impulse, Evan reached out and grabbed Jaxon's hand, pulling him into the room.

"Jaxon, I need to talk to you," Evan said urgently.

Jaxon, surprised and unable to react immediately, looked at Evan with confusion. "Sara, what's going on? This is the second time you've stopped me like this."

Evan tried to calm his nerves. "Jaxon, listen to me. I know this sounds crazy, but I'm not who you think I am."

Jaxon raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile forming on his lips. "Oh, really? So who are you then?"

Evan took a deep breath. "I'm not Sara. I'm Evan.

Jaxon chuckled, his smile turning into a playful grin. "Oh, I know you're not Sara. You're mine."

Evan blinked, taken aback. "What? No, Jaxon, you don't understand. I'm really not Sara."

Jaxon leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a flirty tone. "Come on, Sara. You've been acting strange lately, but I didn't think you'd go this far to get my attention."

Evan's frustration grew. "Jaxon, stop! This isn't a joke. I'm serious. I'm Evan, your brother. My soul is in Sara's body."

Jaxon's smile faded, replaced by confusion. "Wait, what are you talking about? This doesn't make any sense."

Evan took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "I know it doesn't, but I'm telling the truth. I'm Evan."

Jaxon looked at his brother with a mix of fear and determination in his eyes. He calmly said, "It's okay, Sara. I know you've lost your memory and don't know anything about what happened."

He grabbed Evan's shoulder and gently sat him down on the bed. "I'm calling the doctor. You'll be fine," Jaxon assured, his voice soothing yet firm.

As he was about to leave the room to call the doctor, Evan strongly held Jaxon's hand. "I swear to God I'm telling the truth," Evan said with urgency, his grip tightening.

Jaxon looked at Evan, concern etched into his features. "Sara, you need to rest. You're not thinking clearly."

Evan's frustration grew. "Jaxon, stop! This isn't a joke. I'm serious. I'm Evan, your brother. My soul is in Sara's body."

Jaxon hesitated, his face showing a mix of disbelief and worry. "This is impossible. This isn't some drama. You need to rest, Evan."

Desperate, Evan said something that only his brother would know, something so secret that no one else could possibly be aware of it. "Remember when we were kids, Jax? That summer we snuck into Dad's office and found his old guitar? We broke a string and never told anyone. Only you and I know about that."

Jaxon froze, his eyes widening in shock. He turned back to Evan, his voice trembling. "How... how do you know about that? Only my brother knew about that."

Evan's eyes filled with tears. "Because I am your brother, Jaxon. It's me, Evan."

Jaxon stared at Evan, his mind reeling. "No, no, no... How is this possible? My brother is in a hospital bed, in a coma. I saw him just a few minutes ago."

Evan sighed deeply, his frustration mingling with sadness. "I don't even know, Jaxon. I've tried to tell you this before, but I couldn't find the right words."

Jaxon took a deep breath, his mind racing. "If your soul is in Sara's body, how are you alive? Isn't Evan... isn't he about to die?"

Evan looked down, shaking his head. "I don't know, Jaxon. I don't understand any of this either."

Jaxon, still trying to process the revelation, began pacing the room again. "This is... insane. It doesn't make any sense."

Evan reached out, his voice steady but pleading. "Jaxon, please. I need you to believe me. I need your help."

Jaxon stopped pacing and looked at Evan, his eyes filled with a mix of fear, confusion, and concern. Slowly, he walked closer to Evan and touched his face, examining his features with trembling hands. "You're... you're a girl. Your face, your body, your hands... How the hell is this possible?"

Evan's heart ached at the look of confusion and pain on his brother's face. "I don't know, Jaxon. All I know is that I'm telling the truth. We need to find a way to fix this."

Jaxon took another deep breath, his mind finally beginning to accept the impossible. "Okay, let's start by finding out more about this situation. There has to be something we can do."

Evan felt a surge of hope. "Thank you, Jaxon. I can't do this alone."

Jaxon nodded, his resolve strengthening. "I'm with you bro. We'll figure this out together."

With Jaxon's support, Evan felt a renewed sense of hope. Together, they would uncover the truth and find a way to restore their lives.
