Chapter 1188: Draconian Shocktroopers
Archer watched as his ten Oathkeeper knights, who stood over the normal men like giants, tore apart the three rebel legions. Their weapons flashed blue while cutting the soldiers in half, which made him shake his head.
'Are they honestly this stupid? Three legions against Draconia?' he thought with a chuckle. 'Pure delusion.'
Following that, the Oathkeepers killed tens of thousands of enemy legionnaires as the Death Tyrants dragged men and women back to him. Archer quickly sent them to the Shadowrealm to hold them prisoner.
Hours passed, and the surviving rebels gave up before surrendering, causing him to call off the attack. His knights instantly stopped moving as the Death Tyrants surrounded them as he stepped forward. ''Bring me the rebel leaders and don't harm them.''
Three Oathkeepers stepped forward while pushing through the ranks of trembling soldiers. Archer's icy gaze followed them as they seized the leaders of the rebellion, their defiance crumbling into frantic resistance.
The traitors thrashed and screamed, but the knights hauled them back to Archer with unrelenting force. His smile widened, a sinister curve of satisfaction, as the Oathkeepers unceremoniously dumped the seven men at his feet.
Without hesitation, he stepped forward, planting his boot firmly on one man's head and pressing down while letting out an anger-filled growl. ''You fucking stupid human! This is Draconian. This is my kingdom. And what gives you the right to rebel against me?''
After speaking, the Avalonian noble struggled beneath his foot but Archer summoned the Shadow Creatures and gave them an order, ''Bring me Osoric now!''
They bowed before vanishing into the ground as he pressed down, causing the noble's head to sink into the mud. ''I swear to Tiamat that by the time I'm finished with your commanders, the survivors will beg for mercy.''
While standing there, Thalion approached and knelt as he questioned. ''Do you plan to let them go, my Lord?'' Experience new tales on empire
He shook his head. ''No. They will become test subjects for my wives' experiments,'' he explained and pointed at the Death Tyrants. ''Morena created them and they're strong. They will be useful in the upcoming war.''
Once Archer finished speaking, Thalion nodded in understanding and took his place behind him. Following that, he gave the other Oathkeepers an order, ''Spilt the rebels into male and female. I'll send them to their destinations.''
He opened a portal to the Domain and asked the Necromancer sisters to come, which the duo happily did. Demacia flew through it and gave him a big hug that shocked his bodyguards, but he waved them away.
Archer returned the hug as Morena stepped through with a big smile. Demacia quickly kissed him before the older woman commented, ''I heard there was a rebellion, but it seems like you've dealt with it, handsome.''
''Yes, but thanks to my new bodyguard and the Death Tyrants,'' he replied before letting the younger necromancer step back.
Morena hugged him as she questioned, ''Why did you summon us? I'm not complaining, but it's unusual.''
''I have more prisoners for you both,'' Archer explained with a charming grin. ''Take them to the prison and continue with your work.''
Following that, he ordered the Oathkeepers to move the rebel men through the portals as the sisters went to prepare the Blood Crawlers to usher the extra presents into their new homes, which made him chuckle.
'Hopefully, the undead army is powerful,' he mused. 'They will be useful to fight the Swarm when I defeat their puppets.'
After thinking that, the Oathkeepers started throwing the prisoners through the portal, which made him laugh. Morena giggled as she commented. ''These are no longer humans. What did you do to them?''
Archer glanced at the pale-skinned beauty before answering. ''The Oathkeeper Program some of the harem are working on. They are super soldiers designed to defend me, and they're worth the investment.''
''How much did it all cost?'' she asked with a curious expression.
He shrugged before replying while the prisoners sped up their walk after Thalion cut one in half which scared them all, ''A few million gold coins. Leira and Nefi went around the kingdom, buying up everything they needed from stores.''
Morena looked confused even more causing Archer to explain, ''I don't take stuff from my people even though they offer it. If I buy stuff, it will help the economy grow thanks to all the wealth I spend.''
The older woman regarded him with a curious expression, her eyes narrowing slightly as she spoke. ''You're unlike any dragon I've ever heard of. They all hoard their wealth obsessively and despise, parting with even a single coin.''
Archer waved her off with a confident smile. ''There's no point in hoarding treasure when it can be spent in ways that will keep making my coin for generations. Draconia is our family's legacy, one that will endure long after this world fades into the past.''
When Morena heard this, her blue eyes widened in shock before questioning, ''Amazing! I can't wait until we fulfill your dreams and bring peace to this chaotic world.''
Following that, the two of them continued talking as in a faraway place plans were being made to counter Archer since the assassination attempt didn't work. While standing outside the palace, Aisha appeared with a smile as she spoke, ''Husband, can I get your permission to launch a strike against the Alliance with the Draconian Shocktroopers and Airforce?''

Emperor Anatoly Volkovitch was sitting in his study when someone crashed down on his balcony, causing him to sigh. 'Damn woman always loves a dramatic entrance,' he thought just as the door doors slammed open.
''My son! Why did you sanction the assassination attempt on the white dragon? He has Sofia held captive!'' Catherine Volkovitch appeared with burning red eyes.
Anatoly sighed before explaining, ''Mother, I had no other choice. The Swarm's leadership wanted him out of the way and said they had someone who could get close. So the council agreed to kill the Demon King.''
The older woman let out an exasperated sigh, sitting down with a sharp glare. ''And did he die? No! You damn fool only made him more beloved by his soldiers. Look at what they've done already. Every battle has shattered your armies. And that's not even counting the hundreds of ships the empire has lost to their navy!''
When Anatoly heard this, he clenched his fists, as the Alliance leaders couldn't figure out why those demon ships were near enough unstoppable. They captured three Draconia vessels known as Destroyers and their crew.
He knew the generals were holding them in the southern city of Volgograd, a fortress protected from the demon's assaults. The city remained secure, guarded by three legions of the Church of Light, elite soldiers trained by the Nightshade Empire.
Anatoly looked at the grey-haired woman who was staring at him with an impatient expression and tried to explain, ''I know he's not dead and hasn't been seen since the attack. But I don't have time for this and have to travel toward Volgograd to inspect these ships. Would you like to come, Mother?''
''Yes son, I would like to see what this young man came up with,'' Catherine answered with an annoyed expression. ''Only if you would have listened to me, we could've befriended the boy and become allies. There's something much worse than him coming and you chose the wrong side.''
''Enough with your childhood stories Mother,'' Anatoly snapped in anger before trying to scold the older woman. ''He would have never helped, but the Swarm offered all the help they could to fight the incoming threat.''
As he finished talking, the atmosphere instantly changed, causing him to gulp as his Mother's eyes glowed with rage. A black aura radiated from her just as she vanished and reappeared in front of him.''
Anatoly realized he fucked up, but it was too late as Catherine grabbed him by the throat and lifted him into the air with one hand as she warned, ''Do not speak to me like that, you stupid boy! You think because you're my son I won't kill you? Remember what happened to your foolish father?''
He panicked as his father, the previous emperor, cheated on Catherine with a noblewoman and shamed her in front of the city, causing her to vanish only to return when she was the strongest being in Verdantia.
She had killed the old man and placed him on the Novgorod throne before going about her own thing. When Anatoly realized this, he muttered an apology, ''I'm sorry, Mother.''
Catherine let him go as her aura calmed down. ''If you do it again, I'll kill you and place my grandson Agustus on the throne.''
Following that, she left the room with him reeling. 'Fuck, that woman is scary. Why does she get angry so quickly?'
Anatoly shrugged before following his mother for a while until they came to a carriage that the older woman climbed inside. He stepped in just before it started leaving the palace as she commented, ''You should have never let the power go to your head my son, it will come back to bite you.''
