Suddenly, I felt like a current of energy going through my body, it's like when you have adrenaline, that feeling of euphoria, that feeling that you can do everything, that at that moment you are capable of doing whatever you set your mind to, that's what I feel... at least until that feeling disappeared a few seconds later.

That's easier said than done! But anyway I tried, I imagined a ball of water, imitating of course the novels in which the protagonist could do magic, they always said that magic was imagination, that you had to form an image in your head, an exact image of what you wanted.

Okay, I'm focusing it wrong, this is not magic, but one more limb, like my arms and my legs, I can move those without problems and at the moment, I can tell them what I want to do and they will do it, so I have to imagine that getting water out of my hands is as simple as moving an arm or a leg, So I tried to imagine how a ball of water came out of my hands and, surprisingly, I felt a little cold in my hands.
Alarmed, I looked at my hand which was turning blue, as if the circulation had been cut off and blood was not flowing properly, in fact, a few seconds later, my other hand began to feel the same way.
"What the fuck is going on?!" – I asked myself alarmed.
My hands were blue and swollen, as if they were going to explode, in addition to the intense pain I felt right now.

I wanted to reply but the words didn't come out of my mouth, so I just put up with the pain.
Suddenly, steam began to come out of my hands, it was curious, extraordinary and little by little my hands were deflating and returned to their normal state and as if that were not enough, the steam went from being water vapor to a kind of transparent liquid that I quickly recognized as water.
Little by little the water formed in my hands until, a few seconds later, a ball of crystalline and completely transparent water floated in my two hands, calmly, as if nothing could disturb them.
"I did it!" – I said excitedly.
But that only served to make the balls of water spill on the bed and wet it.
"It's a shame, but I've done it, I know how to do it, now all that's left is to train, I have to be strong, to be able to face any dangerous situation without being harmed" – I said excitedly.
Thanks to my new peculiarity, I was stronger now, but I knew that I shouldn't be confident, there were many people with dozens of years of experience in using their peculiarity, people who could kill me with one hand effortlessly and let's not talk about those monsters, which could eat me in the blink of an eye.
"I must train!" – I said determinedly.
And now, with a new strength still to be developed but with a lot of potential, my excitement increased immeasurably and I started training right then and there.

It's been almost two weeks since then and my training sessions had worked like a charm, my body was much more toned, my abs lacked fat and I even had muscles, signs of my effort.
But that's not all, I also trained with my peculiarity, but the better I got at using it, the more I realized that it was very weak, the peculiarity that allowed me to create water in my hands and expel it was in its most basic state as the system said. Apparently I could only create balls of water that I could throw at the target, But I couldn't make it take on other forms and I could only increase its size by a few centimeters, so it wasn't a combat-oriented peculiarity, with this peculiarity I couldn't fight face to face against anyone and when I asked the system why it had given me such a basic ability, this is what it answered.
[It's obviously in its most basic form, it's your first mission, but don't get depressed, as you complete the missions, the better peculiarities the system will give you, but no matter how hard you try, your peculiarity won't improve, that's the downside of the peculiarity the system offers you, these peculiarity can't be improved normally. Only the system can strengthen them, so for the time being, creating water balls and increasing their size a bit and throwing them is the only thing you can do, at least for the time being]
It seemed too good to be true, but I didn't give up, I found a way to make this very weak peculiarity useful, basically everything was based on strength, if I increased my strength, the faster I could throw the water ball and more damage I could cause. But based on my current physical strength, at most I could blind the opponent for a few seconds and maybe hurt their eyes a little and that if I aim well. The good thing is that the water created with the peculiarity is drinking water, so in the future I would never have problems finding water, the bad thing is that water was warm and I couldn't change its temperature, but at least it wasn't hot, so it's not all bad.
But apart from my training, it is also worth mentioning that I continued to go to Dr. Golan to treat my "Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder" and I must say that thanks to my great performance, Dr. Golan seemed to believe me when I said that I was getting better, so, with a week and a little more to go before the start of the summer holidays, I decided it was time to tell him about the island, I think I've gained a bit of his trust in these last few sessions, so I think it might work.
So here I was, next to Dr. Golan sitting in the same chair as always and my father whom Dr. Golan had asked to accompany us today so that he could see my progress.
"So, how is Jacob, has he experienced any improvement?" – my father asked.
"I see him much better, young Jacob has opened up a lot with me these last sessions and I notice that he is improving at a remarkable rate, I think I did well not to medicate him at all, his son is strong-minded and is getting over the death of his grandfather little by little" – explained Dr. Golan.
As I said, I'm an excellent actor, maybe I could dedicate myself to being an actor if it weren't for the fact that I don't want to live among normal people but among peculiar people.
"Yes... I have also noticed it, now he leaves his room a little more and has even agreed to take the final exams at his school, but in person. The truth is that, although it is slow, we are noticing improvement" – my father agreed.
But he didn't seem too convinced because the truth is that he didn't believe any of that, for him and his wife, Jacob practically showed no improvement during these last sessions, the only thing he noticed was that he left his room a few more times a day, but nothing more, even so, if Dr. Golan, a professional with their respective degrees had said that he was progressing, he was progressing, right?
"Thank you for noticing my improvement, but now I have to say something" – I said suddenly.
"Go ahead, Jacob, express yourself"- said Dr. Golan.
The key moment arrived, the decisive moment!, if I did it well, my dream would begin to take shape, if not... I would earn money this summer and then run away from home to go to Cairnholm, although I would prefer not to do that if I can avoid it.
