A World Jumper

Chapter 30: In real world

As Gem and Quorra stepped out into the open air, they were greeted by a sight that took their breath away. Above them, the night sky stretched out like a vast canvas, adorned with countless stars twinkling like precious gems scattered across velvet, they were filled with awe.

It was a sight they had only ever dreamed of, a symphony of light and wonder that transcended anything they had ever known in the confines of the digital realm.

With a smile playing on his lips, Alexander observed Gem and Quorra's awe-filled expressions, savoring the magic of their first encounter with the night sky. But his attention was soon drawn elsewhere as he spotted Alan Bradley's car approaching the arcade.

Swiftly, Alexander made his way inside to inform Flynn of Alan's arrival, his footsteps echoing through the empty corridors of the arcade.

While inside Arcade basement, Kevin and Sam in transferred the data of the Tron System or The Grid onto a memory card nestled securely in Sam's Nokia N8 phone.

With the transfer complete, Sam fastened the memory chip around his neck, his eyes sparkling with anticipation as he glanced at his father.

Kevin's gaze flickered to the entrance as Alexander's voice cut through the quiet, "Your friend Alan Bradley is outside."

A wave of nostalgia washed over Kevin, his lips forming the name "Alan" almost reverently as memories long buried resurfaced.

As Kevin and Sam hurried outside, the camera follows their every step, the anticipation palpable in the air. They emerge from the basement and into the Arcade, their eyes searching until they spot Alan, engrossed in his pager, oblivious to their presence.

"Alan," Flynn's voice carries across the distance, drawing the attention of Alan.

Alan turns, disbelief writ large across his features as he beholds Flynn standing before him, alive and real.

"Flynn," Alan breathed, the name a whisper of memory and longing.

A smile tugged at Flynn's lips as he confirmed, "I am back, old friend."

With a mixture of astonishment and joy, Alan crossed the distance between them, enveloping Flynn in a tight embrace, as if to ensure he was truly real.

"Where have you been all these years?" Alan's voice quivered with emotion, his curiosity burning bright.

Flynn's gaze softened, a hint of sadness flickering across his features as he replied, "You won't believe the story, if I told you."

But Alan, ever the steadfast companion, met his gaze with unwavering trust. "Try me," he insisted, a glimmer of determination in his eyes.

Sensing the unspoken question lingering in the air, Flynn glanced at Alexander, who regarded them with a silent intensity.

"He is a trusted partner," Kevin reassured, as Alexander nodded and replied"Okay."

Flynn begins to recount the incredible tale of the Grid and his whereabouts during his absence. With each word, Alan's disbelief deepens, until Alexander steps forward, a flicker of Grid tech casting a surreal glow upon the scene, offering undeniable proof of the impossible.

"Unbelievable," Alan breathes, removing his glasses to rub at his eyes as if to dispel the illusion before him.

Sam's laughter, bright and infectious, cut through the tension like a ray of sunlight, his own experience mirroring Alan's incredulity. "I was in a similar state too," he admitted, a shared moment of understanding passing between them.

Eager to witness the impossible with his own eyes, Alan's gaze turned to Flynn, his excitement barely contained as he asked, "Can I see it?"

Flynn's nod was filled with determination and purpose, his voice infused with the fervor of a visionary. "You can, old friend. We are going to change the world."

As they prepared to unveil the secrets of the Tron System, Alan's mind raced with the implications of what lay before him. A computer programmer himself, he couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement at the prospect of witnessing the program he had once written brought to life in such a remarkable way.

But as Flynn divulged the truth about Quorra and Gem, digital entities thrust into the tangible world, Alan's shock deepened, his understanding of reality shifting beneath his feet. And yet, amidst the chaos of revelation, Alexander's enigmatic past remained veiled, a mystery waiting to be unraveled.

With resolve born of newfound purpose, Sam and Kevin shared their plans to seize control of ENCOM.

As the night fell, Alexander departed with Quorra and Gem, leaving the neon-lit streets behind for the quiet refuge of one of Alan's villas.

As Alexander guided the car through the winding streets, Gem and Quorra sat in the backseat, their faces pressed against the window, eyes alight with wonder as they drank in the sights of the city unfolding before them.

As they crossed the bridge, the world seemed to open up before them, the expanse of sky stretching endlessly above. And then, like a miracle unfolding, the sun broke through the clouds, casting its golden rays across the landscape.

For Gem and Quorra, who had known only the simulated glow of the Grid, the warmth of the sun was a revelation, a tangible manifestation of a dream they had scarcely dared to imagine. As its rays washed over them, they basked in its embrace, a moment of pure and Gem muttered"It is beautiful."

Quorra smiled and added"It is better than I imagined it."

After reclaiming Encom, Alexander, alongside Kevin, Sam, and Alan, embarked on a decade-long journey to revolutionize the world through groundbreaking technology. Encom expanded its reach, establishing new departments in healthcare, transportation, and beyond.

However, Alexander remained vigilant, ensuring that advanced technologies like the Elysium Med Bay and potent weapons remained inaccessible, recognizing the world's unpreparedness for such advancements.

Through extensive deliberations with Kevin and Alan, they strategically invested in the political arena, consolidating power and influence to further their agenda.

Amidst these developments, Gem ascended to the presidency of the United States, while Quorra assumed leadership of Encom's medical department.

Sam, alongside his father and Alexander, dedicated their efforts to pioneering new inventions and programs.

Yet, amidst their success, Alexander felt a calling to delve deeper into interdimensional exploration, uncovering coordinates to another world. Upon sharing this discovery with Gem and Quorra, they expressed excitement tempered by their commitment to bettering their current reality.

When Alexander proposed the journey, Gem and Quorra opted to remain focused on their ongoing endeavors, acknowledging the importance of their work in shaping the world before venturing into new realms.

"Are you both coming with me?" Alexander inquired eagerly.

Gem replied, "Not now, but we will come eventually. There's still much to accomplish here."

Quorra nodded in agreement, stating, "I gave word to Flynn about changing his world, Once that's achieved, we'll be ready to explore others."

Understanding their commitment, Alexander nodded in acknowledgment. "I understand," he replied, respecting their priorities and embarking on his journey with a sense of adventure tempered by the knowledge that his friends were making a difference where they were.
