Chapter 941: Sword Saint.
Shi Lang did not know about the identity of the girl he saw outside, at this moment, his mind has keyed out every irrelevant detail and focus was channeled to one thing and one thing only.
He picked up the hammer, and mumbled while looking at it, "Everything is a sword if I have the sword in my heart."
Then he began to swing the hammer. Shi Lang infused the hammer with sword intent, as a result every swing would chop through the metal. However, he did not care, he kept on swinging without taking a break. During this time he controlled the intensity of the intent and managed to bring it down to a point where he gained microscopic control on his prowess.
Raksha appeared behind him, but she did not talk to him. On the contrary, she kept puffing out clouds of smoke from her long pipe with a faint smile on her face. She was happy to see that Shi Lang had improved his understanding of the sword intent further. He could radiate the sword intent using even a spear but now, he was capable of using a hammer as a sword.
Once he goes out of here, even a blade of grass would have the strength of his sword. Shi Lang just stepped into the realm of a sword saint and he did not even know about it.
...
Vali Titus was sitting under the pavilion where she first came to find out about Shi Lang when a maid came rushing over. Vali opened her eyes and asked, "What is it, Jum."
Jum replied, "Young Miss, the swords in the Titus Hall are acting weird, and not only that all the swords in the city are trembling and trying to break away, the people are trying hard to keep them under control."
Vali frowned, but just then the entire city was thrown in an uproar. The young lady saw the swords flying over. Many of them had their masters following them, but looking at their faces Vali had a strange thought.
The Dwarves did not use swords, they mastered battle axes, and war hammers as their weapons. She flickered from her position and appeared beside a human expert she knew as a client.
The human expert was surprised and cupped his fist as he said, "Greetings, Young Miss Titus."
Everyone around them was shocked. They all greeted her, in the Titus city Vali was the authority that represented the Titus Hall administration and a Dao Forging Master.
She asked, "Master Kronos, why are you all so happy? Do you know why the swords are acting weird?"
Kronos was a sword grandmaster who had come from the northern continent. His knowledge of the world was great as he had been a traveler, roaming the world to learn more about the Dao Of Sword.
He smiled and replied politely, "We sword cultivators aim to achieve the level of a sword god. What you are seeing is called the worship of thousand swords."
The sky was covered with thousand swords, from the strongest Dao Swords to the weakest Immortal Swords, all of them were moving around in a circular position. The strongest ones were on the inside of the circular layers while the weakest were on the outside. They were all pointing in one direction with their tips slightly bowed to the ground.
Vali asked, "What are they worshipping?"
Kronos chuckled and said, "They are paying respects to the Sword Saint. Someone in the forging hall has achieved the level of a Sword Saint. He can now hold a blade of grass and use it as a sword. If he takes out his real sword then slashing the mountains and the sky into two would not be a big deal.
The level of his sword control allows him to peel an apple as thin as a cicada wing, and to obliterate objects into nothingness.
With the worship of the thousand swords, the saint has arrived. None shall question his path, or they shall die."
Kronos bowed in the direction of the room before he raised his hand and caught his sword. All the other swords also returned to their resting places or to their masters. Continue reading on empire
Vali Titus was surprised by this whole scene but her lips curled up in a smile as she mumbled, "The hammer can be used to forge the sword in hearts. Interesting."
...
Shi Lang looked at the fine powder of the metals laying before him, and channeled the flame from the flame seed inside him. The different metals were all heated in different temperatures at the same time. Shi Lang was a tribulation alchemist, flame control was something he could do in his sleep.
The metals smelted and then they were blended together. After the lump began to cool down, he began to beat it with his hammer once again. This time, he did not infuse the sword intent, but channeled the power of the Dao Laws of sword path.
The laws were being inscribed onto the blade with his spiritual energy and then folded into layers. Shi Lang started with the most basic sword laws that he comprehended in the lower realm and then as he began to stack the laws one over the other, he began to understand how things were working.
The sword intent he used to refine the metals for the first time had changed the nature of the metals. In the world of cultivation everything that can comprehend the essence of the spiritual energy and understand the secrets of things between the heaven and the earth could gain enlightenment.
The sword intent has made the metal strong enough to tolerate the Dao laws being inscribed upon them. Shi Lang was using the four season laws along with sword laws. If a sword wielder used this sword to attack with the techniques that were focused in the four seasons or something similar, they would gain a power boost.
Their strength would be twenty percent more than the normal people. This was a first grade Dao Weapon, and as Shi Lang was getting closer to the completion, the spiritual energy inside the room was being absorbed by the weapon as well.
Raksha looked at the weapon and felt envious. She had her own laws, but they were not inscribed in the body of the sword. If had a body similar to her spirit, then her strength would be twice of what it was at the moment.
