Chapter 18: [18] Heading To Miami

"Dear passengers, the flight to Miami, Florida is about to land. Please sit tight and hold on..."

On the flight to Miami, Brian, Professor X, and Raven were seated in the first-class cabin.

After dealing with the issue of Moira, Brian and the others immediately boarded the plane, heading to Miami to rescue Magneto, who was about to face off against Black King Shaw.

At this moment, Brian was sitting comfortably, focused on drawing his premonition comic.

Meanwhile, Raven was holding several of Brian's drawn comics in her hands, curiously flipping through them.

Brian's premonition comics continued to use the format of four-panel comics.

In the latest comic, a luxurious cruise ship was depicted in detail.

Onboard, members of the Hellfire Club were shown hosting a lavish celebration.

Above the deck of the ship, a man with a face full of hatred was depicted, arms outstretched, as thick metal chains wrapped around the ship like serpents.

The next panel showed the same man, looking desperate, being beaten by Black King Shaw.

"Is this what's going to happen in Miami?"

Professor X, looking seriously at Brian's premonition comic, asked in surprise.

"Yes, this is the future that is going to happen," Brian replied calmly.

"Brian, if this man has the ability to control metal, shouldn't he be called 'Magneto' instead of 'Scene Man'?"

Raven pointed at the man controlling steel in the comic and smiled.

Brian turned his head and glanced at Raven.

He had to admit that Raven had a real knack for coming up with code names for Mutants.

Whether it was Professor X, Magneto, or the code names of the X-Men, Raven had been the one behind them all. She was like a little expert at naming.

"Well, where ever he goes, he creates a scene.." Brian muttered to himself while drawing another panel.

Just as Brian finished the last panel of his premonition comic, the plane touched down at Miami Airport.

The three of them disembarked and made their way outside.

Standing outside the airport, both Professor X and Raven looked expectantly at Brian.

"So, which port is Black King Shaw's cruise ship docked at?" Professor X asked.

"Charles, you seem to rely a bit too much on Darwin's prophecy," Brian said with a serious expression. "Darwin once said that his predictions can only guide us in the right direction, but it's up to us to find out where Black King Shaw is actually hiding."

Brian, of course, knew the plot well, but the plot didn't provide exact coordinates or specifics like a map. There was no way he could know the exact port where Black King Shaw's cruise ship was docked.

After hearing Brian's sober warning, Professor X paused for a moment before letting out a bitter smile.

Just as Brian had pointed out, Professor X realized he had indeed been relying too much on Darwin's prophecy.

He had even forgotten that he himself was also a Mutant—one of the most powerful Psychic Mutants, at Level 4.

With renewed focus, Professor X pressed his right hand against his temple, and his immense telepathic power spread across all of Miami port. As one of the strongest telepaths in the world, Professor X's telepathic range could cover hundreds of kilometers, almost the size of New York City.

As his telepathic powers expanded, countless psychic consciousness projections appeared in front of him.

Along with them came a wave of mental noise—thoughts and voices like a deafening tsunami crashing into his mind.

The overwhelming influx made Professor X wince in pain, his fingers trembling as they pressed harder against his temple.

"The third port," Professor X finally muttered, his voice strained from the effort.

He had located Black King Shaw's cruise ship. With that, he quickly withdrew his telepathic powers, visibly exhausted from the mental exertion.

Although Professor X was a powerful Level 4 Mutant, he was still far from becoming the bald telepathic powerhouse who could affect the consciousness of half the planet with just a thought in the future.

"Let's go, let's head to the third port."

After getting the information they needed, Brian smiled and gave Professor X a light pat on the shoulder, chuckling as he said, "Are you alright, Professor? Can you still walk, or should I grab a wheelchair for you?"

Professor X, still panting heavily from the mental strain, responded by giving Brian a middle finger, clearly annoyed by the teasing.

"It seems you're fine then, Professor. No need for assistance," Brian shrugged. "Come on, Raven, let's head to the third port."

Brian pulled Raven along, calling a luxury taxi and quickly driving off.

"Brian, are you sure it's alright to leave without waiting for Professor X?" Raven asked with concern as she watched the figure of Professor X fade into the distance.

"Raven," Brian said gently, wrapping his arm around her, "I didn't want him to intrude on our time together."

Raven, hearing the affectionate tone in Brian's voice, felt a warmth spread through her. She couldn't help but be moved by his words.

The atmosphere in the taxi became undeniably intimate as Brian's gentle presence filled the space.

Until Brian broke the intimate atmosphere:

"Raven, transform into a succubus, with a heart-shaped tail."

Raven: ? ? ?

Raven was momentarily stunned, then rolled her eyes at Brian.

However, her affection for Brian made her indulge his somewhat peculiar request.

"Cool~"

Brian whistled, his eyes filled with fiery excitement as he looked at the graceful and alluring succubus before him, her heart-shaped tail swaying gently.

"Oi, change the destination, take us to the Vienna Hotel."

With such beauty in his arms, Brian's priorities shifted. The plan to save the day could wait for now; he had more "pressing matters" to attend to.

As the taxi suddenly changed lanes, Professor X, who had been seeing from behind, was momentarily confused. Then, realizing what was happening, he couldn't help but curse Brian through telepathy.

"You're unbelievable, Brian… Damn it."

Brian, of course, ignored Professor X's telepathic outburst, fully focused on his new destination.

The taxi drove Brian and Raven off to the Vienna Hotel.

"f**k," muttered Professor X as he watched the taxi pull away in the distance, feeling an intense urge to strangle Brian.

He had always seen Raven as his sister. Watching someone she had just met sweep her away in less than a day infuriated him to no end. But Raven, apparently, had no objections, leaving Professor X no choice but to stew in his anger.

Unable to do anything, Professor X decided to take matters into his own hands.

With a flick of his mind, he telepathically controlled a man driving a Ferrari, compelling him to hand over the keys.

After commandeering the car, Professor X pressed down on the accelerator, sending the Ferrari speeding toward the third port. He needed to scout out the Hellfire Club's movements, hoping to rescue the person Darwin had foretold.

''They'll be having fun while I find this fucking Magneto.''

While doing so, he would begrudgingly wait for Brian and Raven.

"f**k," Professor X cursed again under his breath as he drove.
