After Being Abducted and Raised by A Snake

Chapter 1

The moment Wan Zhong’s body plunged into the black sea, he realized someone intended to harm him. The force propelling him felt malicious and deliberate, not accidental.

He always been kind and without enmity, he wondered who the murderer was and why they sought his life.

“Help! Help…cough!”

Unable to swim, Wan Zhong flailed in the rough sea, desperate to survive. Despite his cries, no one came to his rescue until his last breath.

Another massive wave approached.

Deprived of oxygen and succumbing to hypothermia, Wan Zhong weakened. His hands dropped, and an unknown force pulled his limp body into the seabed. Surrounded by fear and darkness, his heart brimmed with reluctance.

Then, he could reunite with his relatives and attain the legendary happiness…

In his hazy consciousness, Wan Zhong suddenly felt a bright, hot beam of light piercing the darkness, illuminating his face. Faint sounds of crashing water echoed in his ears—the noisy rush of waves.

Subconsciously wanting to shield his eyes, he instead grasped a handful of hot, soft sand.

What was it?

“Cough, cough, cough! Ugh~”

Spitting out water, Wan Zhong opened his eyes to a scene of blue sky, white clouds, and a tall coconut tree. The fiery red sun scorched the earth, and the warm sea breeze caressed the shore.

His pupils widened, and he stood up, wiping his mouth. He turned blankly to survey the surroundings.

Before him, the boundless blue sea.

Behind him, a vast forest of countless trees.

Soft white sand stretched endlessly along the coastline at his feet, leading to towering green mountains shrouded in mist at the far end.

Yet, the area was silent, devoid of human presence…

Wan Zhong, bewildered, had no clue where he was or why. After a long pause, he hastily unzipped his trouser pocket, retrieving a soaked mobile phone. The screen, blackened by seawater, displayed a frozen moment—July 4, 2022, 22:33.

Wan Zhong licked his chapped and peeling lips, he stood on tiptoes, gazing at the horizon where water met the sky, hoping for help from passing ships. Yet, the vast sea remained undisturbed, devoid of even a ripple.

“Dang!” He muttered in frustration, immediately offering self-comfort: “It’s okay, it’s okay. Surviving a catastrophe is lucky; everything will be fine.”

Such a positive and optimistic psychological hint proved very useful.

After calming down, he planned to venture into the forest, seeking clean water and respite from the scorching sun. Dehydration would be dangerous now.

The journey revealed no one or domestic garbage. Surveying the primitive environment, it felt like an undeveloped, deserted island. He thought of his situation, the potential of rescue seemed to be impossible making him lost the joy of surviving.

Beside tall, lush grass, he contemplated the dim light and the ominous towering forest, murmuring, “…there must be no snakes.”

As the words left his lips, raindrops fell on his head. Massive dark clouds loomed.

“Is it going to rain?”

He looked up. The sun still shone brightly, but a shadow, larger than the dark clouds, thickened overhead, hinting at an imminent downpour.

Sniffing the air, he caught the fragrance of earth after spring rain. Realizing the shadow and scent came from behind, he turned and met a pair of cold, green, vertical eyes.

“Ah——!!!”

A colossal black snake, coiled like an exaggerated donut, silently appeared. Its snake body, covered in armor-like black scales, resembled a mountain of obsidian.

The giant snake lowered its noble head, dark green vertical pupils fixed on Wan Zhong. His vision darkened, and he nearly fainted.

The snake’s pupils narrowed, and it swiftly spat out a scarlet, slender tongue, sweeping it around its open mouth. Ignoring dizziness, he leaned over to vomit. The snake’s tail brushed my feet, winding up my ankles and slowly tightening around my waist.

‘At last, it’s done now.’

The black snake that was spitting out snake tongue tilted its head and poked his face with the tip of its tail, which was cold and slippery and was as thick as his arm.

Wan Zhong: “!!!!!!”

Never mind. Fainted first and then talk later.
