Age of Summoner

Chapter 43: Revenge of the Dragon Part IV

"T...The hell is this?"

Joke swore loudly. He could sense that the blade looked exactly like shapeless blue liquid. There was no need to guess who this intense attack belonged to.

"It can do that too?"

Still in a daze, his body was yanked violently once more. Eureasa used all of her strength to pull her master and jumped in the opposite direction just in time. Why, you might ask?

Bam!!!

In that split second, King Slime suddenly leaped onto the spot where they both had been lying. The ground broke apart over a wide area due to the collision that seemed to be more aggressive. Its body now looked slightly different; it had blade-like arms sticking out of its side, which was probably what it used to attack them previously.

"It's just a jelly blob. Why is it this strong?! ”

Joke shouted in irritation before flicking his gaze toward Eureasa. Hardly any command needed to be made, the maiden half drew out her sword readily. Since it was herded to this far, the next step in the plan needed to be executed as quickly as possible!

Eureasa quickly charged forward as the two little dragons that narrowly escaped the previous deathly attack instantly flew in, joining forces!

Crash!!!

It looked like the unfamiliar area caused King Slime’s movements to be more uneven and choppier than before. It tried to enlarge its body, turning some parts of its mass into a whip, brutally whipping toward Eureasa’s body. But she was able to stride away from the attack before piercing her sword into the middle of the giant slime’s body violently.

Her attacks were not at all effective, but it was enough to divert the giant slime’s attention towards herself. The two little dragons also contributed by trying to spit fire from behind. But, with the large gap between their levels and the enemy’s, those attacks could not inflict any harm on their enemy.

But, that was enough to buy Joke some time for now.

He hurriedly picked up the two remaining Mana Potion Item Cards without any delay.

The card was changed into two bottles of potion. In no time, the young man uncorked the bottle and immediately poured the sour liquid down his throat. Those pairs of eyes slightly shriveled, but it was for the exchange for mana that had once again been fully restored to ten units.

And that was the precise moment that his three halves were almost unable to stand the attacks any longer. The two little dragons were pierced by thorned tentacles to death, while Eureasa was splashed with sticky mucus that rendered her immobile. The slime then formed dozens of tentacles, which shot straight to bind the maiden half limbs before lifting her off the ground unable to escape.

"Stop it, you wretched jelly."

Joke spoke sharply as he was back on his two feet. His eyes lit up in determination while extending out his right hand as a card appeared on it.

It was a card that he had prepared specifically to defeat this infernal slime.

A card that he even went offline out of the game for a moment to specially cram it into the slot.

“Can you not bring other people’s halves into this perverted tentacle fetish of yours like that?”

After saying that, there were magical runes lighting up across his whole arm while his eyes flashed bright blue. Joke could feel hot flashes that were different from what he felt when summoning all the other halves earlier.

That force that felt completely different caused him to grit his teeth before taking in a deep breath...

"Come out now, Snowbelle!"

A golden magic circle suddenly flashed before Joke. A gust of strong wind blew through the surrounding trees, almost taking them down—as a crack became boldly apparent in the dimension forcefield around him. The magical runes on Joke’s arm shined even brighter that he had to grit his teeth tightly at the burning pain on his arm.

Smash!

A sharp shattering sound like that of a falling glass blasted along with the sudden emergence of a huge beast. Its beyond-expectation large body size swept the forest around where it landed cleared. The tremendous vibration almost made Joke fall off his feet, while forceful magic ripples instantly turned the center of the Silkie forest into a three hundred meters wide-open field in a sweep.

A fierce beast that was over 15 meters tall stood before the night sky backdrop while its white skin was glittering, reflecting against the moonlight. Those bright blue eyes glanced up to the sky before the two wings slowly spread out.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

The roar boomed so loudly that even Joke had to lift his hands over his ears.

The sound pressure shook the giant slime. The tentacles that were wrapping over Eureasa’s body released the thin figure without its consciousness. The slime was hesitant about what to do next, but it was obvious that this white dragon half surely belonged to the summoner it was going after.

It could sense that this summoner was just a novice who would never be able to defeat it.

But, as for this dragon...

It was a whole nother story.

When this white dragon gazed down upon it, King Slime was immediately startled. Its instinct cried out to hurry for an attack otherwise it might not be ending well!

Mookie!!!!

It shrieked before expanding its body. Both its tentacles were turned into blades, ready to slash this gigantic beast.

Thud!!!

But that was the last of its actions because at that moment—which went by so fast no one got a chance to see what was coming—the white dragon’s front legs stomped down in full force, sending the slime into tiny little pieces. The stomp was so intense it sent Eureasa who was standing nearby to slightly be lifted from the ground.

Everything fell into sudden silence. Even Joke’s jaw had dropped open.

He had expected from the start that this "Snowbelle" Dragon Card would be able to help him put off some of King Slime’s tricks, but what had just happened was way beyond his imagination. Even though this dragon was just a level one, it could bring down a level-forty boss that defeated all his other halves as if they were a snack in just one stomp.

The young man gasped.

Even though he was new to AOS, he was—at that split of a second—enlightened as to why someone would pay twenty million baht for this white dragon.

"Super amazing...."

Joke muttered, still staring at the mighty half before him. But, at that moment, that dragon instead turned toward Eureasa who was standing in front. It snorted, and what it did next was beyond expectation.

Smash!!!!

It used its long tail, smacking at the young maiden half with great force that was enough to cause her thin body to disintegrate into mist within one whack. Joke went agape at what just happened. He did not, to the very least, expect that this dragon would kill the half on its own side.

"W....wait. What are you doing, Snowbelle?!"

The young man shouted. His eyes immediately darted toward it, and that was when the dragon started moving—its hands dashed straight at Joke at full speed, sending those iron-colored orbs wide open.

Crash!!!

The earth shook violently again. His body was knocked down, fell lying on the ground with tremendous pressure asserted onto him that rendered him immobile. Without any warning, he was attacked by his own dragon!

"R...release me right now, Snowbelle. This is an order!”

Joke roared, using the summoner's power to control this dragon. But other than it would not listen, its face moved even closer to him, so close its breath could be felt on his face. Those beautiful blue eyes glared at the young summoner up close.

"How dare you order me, you insolent Summoner."

The young man stopped short. At this moment, the thing that was preventing him from moving was not the tremendous strength of the gigantic hand that was pressing onto his body—but instead the voice of a lady that even though sounded gentle, was layered with overwhelming power.

Joke was left flabbergasted. If he was not mistaken, he had just heard….

"Y...you can you talk, Snowbelle?"
