Chapter 26 One More Faith

Chapter 26 A Little More Faith

"Maybe. It really works!"

William casually took out a book from his shoulder bag and threw it on the bed, drew out his wand and pointed at it.

"Fieri Realis (Make Real)".

——He felt that at this moment, there was a solid connection between him and the book because of the existence spell.

Suppressing his excitement, William walked out of the room and turned around. The door to the Room of Requirement had disappeared, but the temporary connection he had formed with the Existence Charm had become a bit duller, as if the book was located some distance away.

But the connection didn't disappear.

"Lumos Solem (Lights like day)."

William uttered a spell.

"I need a bedroom.

I need a bedroom.

I need a bedroom. "

Finished three laps.

The smooth door appears quickly.

Pushing it open, William found that it was a very well-decorated bedroom, with a double bed, wardrobe, bookcase, table and chairs, coffee table and other complete sets of furniture, and the bed was covered with a light brown silk quilt.

Above the quilt, a copy of Bathilda Bagshot's A History of Magic shone brightly.

The light is as bright as the day.

William has since had a magic workshop.

At least that's how he named it himself.

"As long as the Existence Mantra is used to remotely control the room through the wall of the Room of Requirement, the combination and function of the rune language can be safely obtained through the exhaustive method.

Once they are verified, they can be deduced in reverse, and with a bit of luck, they might actually be able to find the logic of using runes to construct a magic language. "

William suddenly had a premonition.

It was the first time he was looking forward to Thursday's Ancient Runes class so much—life in Hogwarts seemed to start to really become interesting from today onwards.

"Would you like to go to the library first?"

During the vacation, William had read the ancient rune textbooks, but felt that it was really difficult to get started-he felt that it was necessary to look for a rune dictionary or pronunciation.

Walking down the stairs of the castle, William found that he had started humming Dvořák's Ninth Symphony "From the New World" unconsciously.

"It's still the fourth movement."

William thought, but didn't stop.

He has always loved the melody.

But when William was about to walk down the narrow stairs on the eighth floor, he didn't expect to hear a long wail from Ron:
"Oh no! You damn stairs!

We are going down! "

He has brought a crying voice.

Under William's dumbfounded gaze, the stairs brought him and a black-haired boy to William's eyes.

"We're bound to be late!"

Ron kicked the flight of stairs hard.

"Hey, hello. Do you know how to get to this staircase?

We're going to Transfiguration class, but we haven't been able to find the way down. "

The other boy turned around and saw William—he scratched his head in embarrassment, his short black hair spread out, exposing a lightning-shaped scar on his forehead.

Harry Potter.

Mr. Savior.

"If i remember correctly.
The transformation classroom is on the second floor of the castle? "

Penello told William yesterday that the Transfiguration classroom was not far from Professor McGonagall's office—but he really couldn't imagine how they got lost to the eighth floor.

"Dude, you must know the way, right?"

When Ron heard Harry's words, he turned around and saw William, as if he saw a savior falling from the sky.

"The spell you told us about made me feel at ease when I was sorted. I bet the hat must have seen that to sort me into Gryffindor.

You must know the spell to make the stairs obey. "

He gestured with his fingers to wave his wand.

Harry looked at William too.

——This tragic scene, he seems to have known each other before.

"I can take you down. The route of the stairs here is not difficult. However, if your transformation class is the first class in the afternoon, you may be late."

William walked up the magic staircase and led them from the eighth floor back to the gap connecting the seventh floor.Last time, he was led by Fenghuang, wandering between these stairs, and had to ask those unreliable portraits for directions, but now he is already familiar with the road.

But he didn't want to take the stairs at all.

William was curious.

"Oh no! Professor McGonagall will kill us."

Ron put his head in his hands and shook it like a rattle.

"Well, if you say so, there must be a way, right?"

Harry was keenly aware of the key.

"That's right, I mean if you're not afraid of heights and you're lucky enough not to be caught by Filch, it would be even better if you had a little more faith."

A smile appeared on the corner of William's mouth—to be honest, he wanted to do this the last time he came to the castle, but he had that turkey with him at that time, and he hadn't entered school yet, so he didn't want to "expose" himself too early.

"Of course, whatever."

Ron and Harry looked at each other and nodded in agreement.

William stood on the edge of the steps, where he could see the castle's first-floor atrium, and he didn't see Filch, or anyone else who would threaten this little "adventure".

The two little lions were watching intently.

He suddenly took a step forward.

"My God! Be careful!"

Ron shouted loudly, and ran to catch up and hold him, but William had already jumped straight from the edge of the steps and disappeared from their sight.

"He's not that tall."

Harry swallowed, worried.

"No way, this is Hogwarts"

Ron shivered, not daring to think about it.

Looking at each other in horror, they suddenly heard the sound of a curse, and William shouted clearly:

"Arresto Momentum! (Deceleration Cushioning)"

Two or three seconds later, William appeared in front of them again—from under the broken steps, he walked up step by step on the air, standing in mid-air.

"Like a fairy in the lake."

Harry said quietly.

"Who is the Fairy of the Lake?"

Ron scratched his head, confused.

But he soon lost interest in asking.

"Which one of you will come first?" William asked with a smile.

In their eyes, he was like a devil.

William could almost hear the "gurgling" sound when the two of them swallowed saliva. This feeling of molesting the protagonist of the movie gave him a very novel experience.

"Dude, I figured we'd make it if we ran faster. Right?"

Ron looked at Harry.

"That's right, there's no need for that."

Harry said, but took two steps, and looked tentatively at the atrium below.

It's really high here.

Had he fallen, it would undoubtedly have been high enough to break his legs into four.

But he felt an inexplicable excitement.

"But we're really running out of time, aren't we?"

said Harry suddenly.

"You won't really be... For Merlin's sake, we're really going to die."

Ron shook his head like a rattle, always saying "we", not "you".

"Or do you want to be turned into a watch by Professor McGonagall?"

Harry asked Ron abruptly.

This is clearly a real possibility, a matter of life and death, and a reasonable suspicion.

"Ok."

Ron finally agreed.

Or surrender.

The novel version said that Ron went the wrong way in the first week and ran to the corridor on the fourth floor, and was scolded by Filch. In the movie version, they were late for the first transfiguration class (the first session in the afternoon) because they couldn't figure out the stairs.
