All Hokage in The Chat Group

Chapter 228: Chapter 228

Before the official departure, Ryan decided to gather more details about the situation. He turned to the others and asked them to describe the entity they had seen based on the intelligence reports.

"What does this so-called Ōtsutsuki look like?" Ryan inquired.

Kakashi was the first to respond, his tone cautious. "It's said to be a very pale man," he began. "This characteristic alone aligns with members of the Hyuga clan. But what stands out the most is that there's something resembling a ram's horn hovering above his head. And his eyes... they're golden, with strange, almost Rinnegan Uzumaki pattern"

As Kakashi spoke, even he seemed uncertain. "Honestly, the description sounds so bizarre," he admitted, his doubt creeping into his voice. "I can't help but wonder if the civilians who reported this might have exaggerated or even fabricated the details."

Minato, who had been quietly listening, couldn't hide his skepticism either. His expression mirrored the incredulity of the group. "That does sound... outlandish," he remarked.

Ryan, however, reacted differently. While the others wrestled with disbelief, he was momentarily taken aback, his mind racing. A realization dawned on him. "I get it now," he said, his voice calm yet resolute. "It's Ōtsutsuki Isshiki!"

The room fell silent as Ryan continued, piecing together the details. "That description matches him perfectly. Ōtsutsuki Isshiki was from the Ōtsutsuki main family. He came to Earth with a singular purpose: to plant a God Tree and harvest its chakra fruit. The goal was to cultivate the tree until it absorbed the energy of the entire plant and bore its fruit, which they would consume to gain unparalleled power."

Ryan's expression darkened as he delved deeper into the story. "When Isshiki came to Earth, he wasn't alone. Kaguya Ōtsutsuki was his partner in this mission. However, there was a grim condition attached to their plan: one of them, as a subordinate, was to be sacrificed to the God tree. Kaguya, unwilling to accept this fate, turned on Isshiki, betrayed him, and launched a surprise attack."

He paused, his gaze distant as if picturing the ancient betrayal. "Despite Isshiki's immense power, he couldn't defend himself against Kaguya's sneak attack. She severely injured him before he even had the chance to react."

The group fell into thoughtful silence, each processing the gravity of the situation and the possibility of facing such a being.

Ōtsutsuki Isshiki had nearly met his end, his survival hanging by a thread. Fortunately for him, he still possessed the power of the Kāma seal. Using it, he parasitized a novice monk host on Earth, narrowly escaping death.

His distinct appearance matched the reports perfectly: unnaturally pale skin, a long, horn-like protrusion from his head, and golden eyes imbued with a unique pupil technique.

As Ryan processed this information, his thoughts churned. "Ōtsutsuki Isshiki... he's acting differently than I anticipated," Ryan thought grimly. "He should have been quite weak at this moment. Considering he's relying on a human host and has no new vessel, it seemed only a matter of time before his death was inevitable. But somehow, his original body has emerged!"

The realization solidified Ryan's resolve. "If that's the case, I'll deal with him," he decided.

Ryan was well aware of Isshiki's strength. Among the entire Ōtsutsuki clan, Isshiki was one of the most formidable. His abilities were unique and dangerous, far beyond what any current ninja could handle.

"Neither Minato nor Kakashi stands a chance against him," Ryan concluded. "Sending anyone else would just mean certain death."

Accepting the burden, Ryan made his decision. "This critical task falls to me."

He turned to the others and began issuing orders. "Kakashi, assemble a team of elite ninjas and accompany me," he instructed. "Minato, you'll stay here and manage the paperwork while I handle the pursuit."

Ryan paused, emphasizing his final point. "And make sure to monitor the advancements in science and technology. We can't afford to overlook any detail."

Kakashi and Minato both acknowledged his commands without hesitation. "Understood!" Minato replied, activating the Flying Thunder God Technique and disappearing instantly to prepare.

Meanwhile, Kakashi followed closely behind Ryan, ready to face whatever lay ahead.

"Lord Ryan, are you sure bringing just a few ninjas is enough?" Kakashi asked concern etched on his face. "Isn't it a bit risky? After all, we're dealing with someone from that race. Their strength must be extraordinary. Wouldn't it be better to call for reinforcements?"

Despite his reservations, Kakashi's suggestion stemmed from genuine worry. Though he was well aware of Ryan's immense power as Hokage and had seen him prevail countless times, this new adversary remained an enigma. Nobody knew the full extent of their abilities.

Kakashi feared the worst—if something were to happen to Ryan, the entire ninja world could spiral into chaos.

Ryan, catching the unease in Kakashi's tone, gave him a sharp glance. "Kakashi, are you questioning my leadership?" he asked with a faint smile.

Kakashi immediately shook his head, his response quick and earnest. "Of course not! I know without a doubt that you're the strongest Hokage!"

Kakashi's words weren't mere flattery. As one of Ryan's most trusted and capable subordinates, he had witnessed his leader's unmatched prowess in battle countless times. There was no denying Ryan's strength, which bordered on the unimaginable.

Ryan's smile widened, his tone turning lighter. "If that's the case, then you shouldn't worry," he said confidently. "The ninjas I asked you to bring aren't for combat. Their job is to assist with reconnaissance and support. None of them, including you, will need to lift a finger in battle."

He paused for emphasis. "Ōtsutsuki Isshiki is mine to deal with alone."

Kakashi's eyes widened in surprise. His Hokage's confidence was overwhelming, bordering on audacious. Facing an entirely unknown opponent, Ryan seemed completely unshaken, as though victory was already assured.

Still, Kakashi couldn't help but marvel at the unwavering faith Ryan had in his abilities.

Ryan had the confidence to face the threat alone? It was difficult to fathom, yet Kakashi refrained from raising any doubts. Instead, he reasoned to himself: even if Ryan's strength somehow fell short, there was no need for panic. With a team of elite ninjas at hand, they could at least create an opening for their Hokage to retreat safely.

Soon after, Ryan set off with his small group of selected ninjas. Before they could even leave the boundaries of Konoha Village, new intelligence arrived.

"Master Ryan!" a voice called out urgently.

It was Minato, appearing seemingly out of nowhere, thanks to his mastery of the Flying Thunder God Technique. His instantaneous arrival even left Ryan slightly impressed.

"Minato, you found new information about the target so quickly?" Ryan asked, his tone tinged with curiosity. "For someone deliberately concealing their identity, that's quite an accomplishment."

Minato quickly shook his head. "It's not my ability, Lord Hokage," he clarified. "The opponent has begun a large-scale operation, which revealed their movements."

Ryan's expression grew serious as Minato continued, "The target has been sighted in the Land of Water. There's more—they've captured the Two-Tails!"

The weight of the information startled everyone present. Capturing a tailed beast was no small feat.

Ryan, however, seemed unfazed. With a calm nod, he spoke. "As expected. Otsutsuki clan members are always attracted to the tailed beasts. Their goal must be to capture all nine."

He turned to the group, issuing a firm command. "We must strengthen our defenses immediately."

Minato wasn't finished. "There's additional news, Lord Hokage," he added. "Eyewitnesses reported a battle. It ended quickly, but there's a discrepancy in the earlier intelligence. The target isn't working alone."

Ryan's brow furrowed. "Not alone?"

Minato nodded. "Yes, there were two individuals. Alongside the man was a woman."

This new revelation shifted the weight of the situation, and Ryan's sharp mind began processing the implications.
