Chapter 110: Wanda In Black Silk Stockings, Ch 47.4
If she could cultivate her powers to their fullest extent, breaking through to a higher dimension would just be a matter of time.
"Mm-hmm, I understand!" Wanda nodded gravely.
Her heart was filled with awe because Hode's knowledge was genuinely overwhelming. Even things that weren't closely related to him, he knew inside out. He was like an all-encompassing encyclopedia, able to provide answers to everything.
Nothing can escape his eyes.
Even her own chaotic magic is clearer to him than it is to her.
"So you have to take this seriously. Of course, if you want that thing, I can reward you once you learn!"
Reward you!
Hode's lips curled slightly at these words, and he smiled broadly.
"You really are... bad!"
Wanda glanced at him, her expression shifting in an instant, and she couldn't help but lightly punch Hode's arm.
"Alright, let's continue. Next, I need to teach you about the texts involved."
Hode rubbed Wanda's head and began explaining other content from the parchment.
He was well aware of the saying, "Haste makes waste," so the focus of these three lessons was to guide Wanda in learning relatively simple spells.
In fact, given Wanda's understanding, this was hardly a hurdle; she grasped the meanings after just one lesson.
Boom!
Wanda, seated in a chair, slowly opened her eyes, her pupils flickering with a crimson glow.
A layer of shimmering scarlet light covered her fair skin, enhancing her already bewitching appearance with an added touch of unique allure.
Reciting the spell silently, Wanda pointed her hand toward the potted plant.
Whoosh!
A streak of crimson light flashed by.
Buzz!
In an instant, the flower in the pot became entwined with the crimson glow, which rapidly caused it to start growing.
The originally flower-filled bonsai began to twist and writhe, spreading out like a vine at incredible speed.
In the blink of an eye, the plant was covered with black barbs, and the previously green foliage turned to a dark hue.
The sprawling vines confined the surrounding bonsais, and the newly grown barbs seemed to possess a life of their own, constantly devouring the vitality of the other plants.
"Very good, you've learned!"
Seeing this, Hode generously applauded.
"That's because you taught well!"
Wanda hugged Hode, her fiery lips brushing against his cheek: "This is your reward!"
"Just this little reward isn't enough."
Hode lightly poked her on the lips with his finger: "And you kissed the wrong place!"
"No way! I'm really tired right now!"
Wanda knew what Hode was thinking.
"So what do you suggest?"
Hode could see that Wanda seemed to have something else in mind.
"Tonight, I want to go out with you."
Wanda leaned in close to Hode's ear, whispering softly, "When we come back tonight, I'll give you a big surprise."
"What?"
Hode's ear felt tickled by her breath.
He almost wanted to punish her right then and there.
But thinking about tonight's surprise, he decided to endure it for now.
He pinched the witch's cheek, "Remember, you promised, no lying."
"Mm-hmm, absolutely not."
Wanda opened the black scythe scroll and seriously examined its contents: "I need to continue learning, don't disturb me."
"I'll be in the backyard; if you want something, come find me."
Hode squeezed Wanda's cheek again.
Watching Hode leave, Wanda's lips quirked slightly.
How can this guy always say such shameless things!!!
