American Comics: The Strongest Villain

Chapter 2: Starts with a cat

Su Sheng didn't try to hide his scrutiny, even though the woman's frown showed her displeasure. If she really was who he thought she was—Selina Kyle, also known as Catwoman—then it meant he was in the DC universe. Combining Marvel and DC was a common theme in American comics.

Whether it's Marvel or DC, trouble is always around the corner.

Su Sheng smiled. However, just as he was about to speak, he saw a straight, slender leg coming at him with such speed that it seemed to be aiming directly for his face. Luckily, Su Sheng had no foot fetish and a thought flashed through his mind instantly.

Unlimited copying!

With that, his ability activated, allowing him to copy any attacking ability in an instant. Su Sheng immediately felt his body's flexibility and balance improve, and his reflexes sharpened. As the opponent's leg was about to make contact, Su Sheng shifted his head, narrowly avoiding the kick. Instinctively, he kicked out at the supporting leg.

The kick landed precisely on the opponent's calf, just below the knee. This move threw her off balance and caused her to fall toward Su Sheng. Despite her quick reflexes, she tried to retract her leg and stabilize herself by stepping on the bed. But Su Sheng was quicker; he grabbed her ankle and pulled it towards him.

She tried to regain her footing with her other foot while Su Sheng held onto her leg. He pulled her down forcefully, causing her to land directly on top of him.

At that moment, a metallic clang echoed.

Su Sheng realized that the prison uniform wasn't designed with the prisoners' abilities in mind, leading to this awkward and uncomfortable position for both of them.

"Don't look at me like that. I'm not paying for what you break!" Su Sheng retorted, catching her off guard.

The situation was already quite embarrassing, and Su Sheng's comment only fueled her frustration. Enraged, Catwoman threw a punch at him. Given the proximity and her posture, the direction of her punch was predictable. Su Sheng used his wrist to deflect her strike.

Most people would have fallen from such a push, but Catwoman used the momentum to perform a backflip, landing on her feet and charging at Su Sheng again.

As a renowned cat burglar, Catwoman was skilled in balancing, flexibility, and reaction speed. She was also proficient in Muay Thai and street fighting techniques.

Seeing her charge at him, Su Sheng smirked and prepared to face her.

Boom!

Their moves were perfectly synchronized in terms of trajectory and angle, resulting in a clash. Catwoman was momentarily taken aback by the opponent's skill, but she quickly resumed her assault.

Fists and feet collided as they fought fiercely within the cramped confines of the cell. Their moves were strikingly similar, and at first, Catwoman thought it was just a coincidence. However, as the fight continued, it became clear that this was no mere coincidence. Some of her personal quirks in combat mirrored those of her opponent, leading her to feel like she was fighting a male version of herself.

"Dammit, if you have the skills, don't just copy my moves!" Catwoman snapped, clearly frustrated.

Su Sheng grinned. His ability as a Protégé not only allowed him to copy skills and abilities but also instantly integrated the experience of using them. Even skill books couldn't match the efficiency of this process. Seeing Catwoman's anger, he was certain she was indeed the infamous Catwoman.

"Not convinced? Go ahead and hit me. You won't be able to beat me anyway!"

Catwoman sneered. "The same tricks won't work. If I can't beat you, you can't beat me either!"

"That's not necessarily true. I was just playing with you before. Now..." Su Sheng said with a taunting edge in his voice.

A funny cat?

Tease you, uncle!

Catwoman had no time to ponder whether Su Sheng knew about her Catwoman identity. Her only thought was to scratch him! Fixing her gaze on the ground, she lunged at him again.

The infinite copying ability was indeed a game-changer, much like a Sharingan, but Su Sheng was curious about the effects of infinite stacking. Copying might sound impressive, but if it was just a stall, it needed the infinite stacking to truly shine.

"Infinite stacking, double!"

Despite the cliche nature of the phrase, Su Sheng shouted it in Chinese with a dramatic flair.

The sudden outburst startled Catwoman. As Su Sheng doubled his abilities, his reaction time, speed, coordination, flexibility, and strength were all enhanced. When Catwoman's leg whip came flying towards him, he remained grounded and made an extreme, almost impossible dodge that even Catwoman couldn't replicate. She was momentarily stunned, but quickly resumed her assault with a series of whip kicks, sidekicks, back spins, elbow strikes, and more.

Su Sheng dodged the relentless flurry of attacks effortlessly.

Slow.

Too slow.

With his enhanced abilities, dodging and countering attacks were a breeze.

"Infinite stacking, double!"

As Catwoman's leg whip came close, Su Sheng anticipated the move and sidestepped. At the same time, he lunged forward, slamming his shoulder into Catwoman's with tremendous force. She staggered backward, crashing into the wall with a groan.

Her shoulders slumped slightly from the impact.

What incredible strength!

Catwoman felt a numbness spreading through her shoulder, and a wave of cold sweat drenched her from the pain. The most infuriating part was that this technique was her own. She couldn't execute it as quickly or with as much power as Su Sheng, and she hadn't fully mastered it yet.

"Who are you?" Catwoman asked, pressing her shoulder and eyeing Su Sheng warily.

Su Sheng looked at her with a smile. "I'm not a **** shovel, that's for sure!"
