"Amon," she said in a sweet, melodic voice, "I really like you and came to rescue you."

I opened my mouth to respond, but then she pressed her hand to her face and pulled something off. Wait, was that a mask?

I blinked, and under the mask was Astel, grinning like he'd just pulled off the greatest prank of all time.
