Author's Note: In This Chapter I reveal a added story element. but don't worry, I have a full planned out path for this story so just trust me.

-------------------------------

It had been some time since the fight in the Forever Fall Forest. Seeing another Warden has Ryder worried. The Warden was a tough opponent, while he can now face it much easier than before, others don't have that luxury. Though seeing it proves to him that he needs to get stronger. During the time since then he had been training his Semblance mostly. As he trained his semblance, he mostly tries to push it to see how much power it amplifies. But he's struggling with determining how his Semblance works. Sure, he can activate it at will, but he can't control specifics. That's bad as without control he can't grow. As he once said, "Control is the greatest form of growth." Ryder was currently in the Academy's gym using the various equipment that was present. He theorized that if he focused on working on his physical body then he'll Semblance will grow too. But he's also stumped on how he managed to fly back in the Forever Fall Forest.

As Ryder places down a set of weights back on the rack. He let out a sigh as he was sweating a little. He remembers when he first worked out with Tai's help back when he first arrived. He remembers how much of a pain it was. He vomited a few times due to his body not being used to it. But now his body has adjusted. He's also found working out to be kinda fun. It kills time. He sat on a bench in the gym room, he was the only one present as everyone else was either studying or doing their own thing as it was the weekend. He grabbed his water bottle and took a drink from it. He then packed the things he brought and left the gym. He returned to his Dorm where he dropped his things off before he went out for a walk around the Academy. Since he had free time, nothing was stopping him. As he walked through the courtyard, he passed a clear and clean pond. Something shimmered in it.

Ryder stopped and looked over curiously at the object. He got closer and knelt down to get a better look. As he looked into the pond, he saw the object shimmer again, so he looked around. He then reached in and grabbed the object. When he pulled it out, he gasped. In his hands was a Dragon Ball. More specifically, the One Star Dragon Ball. What is it doing here? These things are fictional items in the Dragon Ball Anime. If there's one Dragon Ball, that means there are all seven. That means Shenron exists and that means he can make a wish to go home! It quickly fills his heart with great joy. But then he thinks about it, what about Ruby and Yang? They're the best friends he's ever had so far. He can't just up and abandon them. Now he doesn't know what to do. He doesn't want to just abandon his new friends, but he also wants to go home. His once great joy is replaced with frustration.

He shakes his head and decides to worry about it later as he figures that if he can at least graduate from Beacon Academy, he can go back home and start his own Huntsmen Academy to bring the Huntsmen and their powers to Earth. But he needs to tell someone about the Dragon Balls. He'll need help in finding them. So, he walks back to his Dorm room to call Taiyang. He trusts him the most. Ryder returns to his dorm room, thankfully Kairos isn't there. He's most likely with Glynda doing some training. How does Ryder know this? Well, Kairos mentioned that he trains with Glynda as she is his mentor. It was a neat piece of information. Ryder then thinks about it, maybe he should find a training partner. That could help speed up the process of his training if he had someone to train with.

He puts the one-star Dragon Ball on his bed and brings out his scroll. Scrolls are this world's version of phones or tablets as they come in all shapes and sizes. Ryder went through his contacts and found Taiyang. He doesn't have many. Just the numbers of Team JNPR, RWBY and even Kairos. The only reason he has Kairos's number is so he can call backup when needed. They are teammates after all. He then calls Taiyang.

"Ryder! How's it going?" Taiyang asks on his side of the call.

"It's going well. In case you're wondering, Ruby and Yang are fine. They're off doing their own shenanigans with their team." Ryder said.

"Glad to hear. So, why did you call me? Something you need?" Taiyang asks.

"Yeah. Remember the fact that I'm from earth not remnant?" Ryder asks.

"Of course." Tai said.

"Well.... I found something that's from my planet." Ryder said.

"Well Remnant and Earth are similar. So, what did you find?" Tai asks.

"A Dragon Ball." Ryder said.

"What's a Dragon Ball?" Tai asks.

"There are seven total, once you've collected all seven you can summon a great dragon that will grant you any wish of your desire." Ryder said. "I know, sounds crazy and something straight out of fantasy but that's what a Dragon Ball is."

What? He's not going to say that the Dragon Balls are from an Anime back on Earth. That would make it seem less convincing, plus he wants to have some fun with explaining Earth's lore. Though technically he didn't lie so far because he is not wrong. He just never said where they came from. Sure, they came from Dragon Ball, but the Dragon Ball Anime is from Earth, thus the Dragon Balls are from Earth. Bing bang boom.

"Your planet had Wish orbs?" Tai asks.

"Yes." Ryder said hesitantly.

"You should tell Ozpin." Tai said.

"Why him?" Ryder asks.

"I trust that man with my life, and he's good at keeping secrets. If these Dragon Balls are now on Remnant, there's some powerful people that would want them. Something that powerful cannot fall into the wrong hands." Tai said. "If you tell Ozpin, he can help you track them all down."

"And you're sure I can trust him?" Ryder asks.

"Certainly." Tai said.

Ryder was hesitant but trusted Tai.

"Alright. I'll tell him." Ryder said.

"Good. Remember, things can't remain a secret for long. Eventually they'll be brought to life." Tai said.

The two say their byes and end the call. Ryder then puts his scroll away and leaves the Dorm with the Dragon Ball in his possession. He hid the orb in his hoodie pockets as he walked to the headmaster's office. When he reached the elevator, he hesitated for a moment but shook aside his concern and walked into the elevator. He presses the button, and the elevator door closes before the elevator begins climbing. After a nerve-racking wait, the elevator dings and the doors open. He walks into the headmaster's office where Ozpin was waiting. Ozpin sat at his desk and had a mug in his hand.

"Mr. Falcone. To what do I owe this visit?" Ozpin asks.

Ryder was surprised by Ozpin's preparedness but walked further into the room until he reached the headmaster's desk.

"There's something I found that must be brought to your attention." Ryder said.

"Does it perhaps have relation to your original world?" Ozpin asks.

Ryder's eyes widen as he steps back.

"there's no need to fret, Taiyang had already informed me of your other worldly origins." Ozpin said.

Ryder calms himself down, but his intense anxiety is still present.

"Okay, well yes. It is about my world." Ryder said before he pulled out the Dragon Ball.

Ozpin's eyes lock onto the orb as he feels an interesting energy coming from it.

"This is a Dragon Ball." Ryder said.

"I take it this is a relic from your world?" Ozpin asks.

"It is. The Dragon Balls are wish granting orbs. Collect all seven and you can summon a great dragon named Shenron who will grant you any wish of your desire. As long as it's within his power." Ryder said.

"And how did you discover these orbs back home?" Ozpin asks.

"I'm a nerd when it comes to my world's many mythologies." Ryder said.

He thankfully still isn't lying. He just isn't telling the full truth. No one's going to believe him when he says it's from an Anime. Ozpin gestures with his hand and Ryder gives him the orb. Ozpin inspects the orb while he placed his mug on his desk.

"So. Seven of these orbs exist and they can grant any wish?" Ozpin asks.

"Yes." Ryder answers.

Ozpin looks at the orb for a few moments before handing it back to Ryder.

"I appreciate that you brought this to my attention. Rest assured; this secret will be well kept." Ozpin said.

Ryder nods before he turns and walks to the elevator. As the elevator doors close, Ozpin grabs his chin in thought.

"Orbs capable of granting wishes. This could change everything." Ozpin said to himself.
