An Uncaring Anomaly

 I sat in my room laying on my side waiting for Izuku to finish speaking with his mother. Unfortunately I wasn't an exception to a caring mothers worry. I watched the door creek open a foreboding pressure coming from the door as the figure of Inko was standing clear to see with an unhappy expression. "U-uh howdy" I didn't know what had gotten over me as she had started walking over to me.

Before I had the chance to jump off and run I was caught, I felt the air leaving my lungs as she squeezed I couldn't hear her words as she continued to hold on tightly. "AH LET GO WOMEN!" I wheezed out as I tried to breath. I had been let go at some point but I couldn't remember when.

Finding Izuku had came into the room, I ignore what I just when through and sit back on the bed as Inko left to make dinner. "So what did you want to ask?" "I actually had several questions" Izuku said rubbing the back of his head. "Ok what is it?" "how do you know Katsuki?

"Well me and your mother have very lengthy conversations" I said almost grinning. "Okay but what about the money?" Izuku asked as if trying to uncover my backstory. "Lets just say it was laying in the alleyways unprotected." "That doesn't really answer my question, So how about how you got to me so fast. I know we accidentally left you in that underpass, And I'm very sorry we just or I-I just was t-trying t-to a-as-" "It's alright now hush" I interrupted putting a finger to his lips.

"I also have to show you something after you are done questioning me." Izuku simply nodded then cleared his throat recovering from his muttering. "O-ok so how did you get to me?" "First off is that the last question." He shook his head "Well the other question was how did you get there so fast." Izuku asked awaiting an answer. "So basically I wasn't even unconscious just dazed when I got Indirectly smashed by all might, Pause. So I watched you get dragged into the stratosphere and followed the trajectory. Finally how I caught up, I suppose I now have a quirk after nearly dying."

Hearing this Izuku froze staring at me. "You heard me right I awakened a quirk after the first time we encountered the villain, And on a side note the damn thing gave me quite the bruise on my arms." I lifted my arms to see a purple bump all along my forearms. "Ouch."

 "You have a quirk now. Can I see?" Izuku said happiness beaming from him as he asked excitedly. "Uhh sure, Though it does have a few aspects I figured while speeding to your location." The notebook that I swore he pulled out of his ass. "Is it super speed seeing how we jumped over dozens of buildings and stayed there for about eight minutes and you were just standing there when I got out." "Can you take a breath like damn." 

"The way I'll explain it is as an energy source within me that I can manipulate to do various things." I told him as he wrote it down. "What all can you do with" He asked eagerly wanting to see the extent of what I could do. "I can as you said have some speed as well as strength. But that's not all I can make the energy within me to form outside."

He wrote much more slowly as I let wisps of the dark blue mana out of my hand for him to see as I manipulate into a tiny shape of a sphere before letting it dissipate. This time I couldn't see his hand move as it almost burned through the paper. All I heard was mumbling and something about limits and distance. Making a rod I bonk him lightly on the head.

"Let's go see what your mom is cooking shall we." I said trying to put an arm around and due to my height I decide to put my arm around his side. "W-wait I have one more thing to tell you." "That is?" I turn my head to him already guessing what its about. "I-I was m-met by A-All might's secretary and he said he would t-train me for UA." I looked at him with clear suspicion. "How old is this secretary?" I posed a simple question. "H-he is fifty-six" He answered back a little hesitant.

"I don't know about you but letting you go with an old man by yourself with the backing of all might, Kind of sus if you ask me." I responded hand on my chin. "I-Its not l-like that all mi- Mr. Yagi would n-never do that." With hand on my chin I look at him almost

condescendingly. "Do you honestly think me stupid enough to believe that he won't oh I don't know at least think about it." I said putting my hands on his shoulder. "So call him and say that I am joining to watch you do your practice, Or what ever is going on."

Izuku was beet red at this point as I dragged him along to the kitchen. "So Miss Midoriya what's the special today." With a soft smile she placed the meal down. "katsu don will be served on this special evening." Inko played along as we sat down placing three plates and three sets of silverware down.

 {The day after}

I walk with Izuku following him as he nervously looks at me from time to time. By the time we got to where Izuku was supposed to go I saw another nervous smile from a thin stick looking man. "So young Midoriya is this the friend you were talking about." I saw the some what forced smile on his face. "Ah yes this is my friend Hunter, Hunter this is Mr. Yagi." Izuku on his part tried to ease us into talking. "Hello Mr. Yagi." I held out my hand still staring into his eyes.

"Hello Hunter, Is there a reason for joining for today?" Yagi asked. "When I heard my dear friend here that he was offered to be trained by all might's secretary. I obviously didn't believe it, So I came here to see if an old man pretending to be so would do something nefarious to this little boy here." 

All Might nearly choked on his blood upon hearing my implication. He grabbed a handkerchief from his pocket as well as his ID's. "So you have something to prove other wise I see." All might finishing cleaning up his mouth said exasperated. "I would never do something so despicable." His tone clearly evident that he utterly loathes those who do.

"So anyways what do you plan on doing on this Beach?" I asked hopping that he wouldn't do anything in this area. "Well I once remembered this place to be clean and very beautiful, And hoped to teach young Midoriya about heroics as well as getting his body up to snuff for it." "By what cleaning up the Beach?" Mr. Yagi nodded as he was just about to tell Izuku to get started. "Wait, I need to talk to you Mr. Yagi." I pulled him away from hearing range of Izuku as Nearly whispered into his ear.

"There are several corpses along the beach and if you want to know how I know, Well I was a former street rat surviving doing all weird stuff. So Did you want to call some people and have this dealt with or have Izuku find them and let him see what the underneath of heroism is?" I ask quietly not to confidant that Izuku will be ok with him finding them.

It took Yagi a minute to registered what I had told him. "Are serious kid this isn't something to joke about." He said just as quietly his tone very serious. "Follow me. Izuku warm up here get ready to haul some garbage alright." I said to him an exited tone to my voice as I try to hype up Izuku. "Ok" He simply agreed and stretched as I led Yagi into the dump.

I could tell he was looking around as we got in deeper, The splotches of blood and a couple body parts scattered as we approach a somewhat large pile of human. "Oh my..." He didn't get past that as he puked blood as well as stomach acids. "W-who could have done this." Yagi looked furious and green in the face as he looked upon the mound bodies.

A little less green than him I plugged my nose. "Don't know and I didn't really care at the time, I was here at some point before moving in with Izuku. But I do remember the kid coming by and dropping off the bodies as well as taking anything that they had on them."

"L-lets have young Midoriya run some laps while I call some people to get this sorted out, Also why aren't you as affected as I thought you would be?" "Well like I told you before, I grew up in the streets death isn't something to laugh at sure but when it is common to you, ya tend to ignore it and move about your day. Especially you are hungry and the night is approaching." Yagi frowned and made the call as we continued making back to Izuku.

"Is there anything you are forgetting? Yagi asked. "Stash of guns are over there." I said pointing over at a hill of trash." "Do you know how many firearms?" "Maybe over three hundred." Yagi froze and nearly dropped his phone. "Jeez kid why were you hording all those firearms." He nearly yelled quickly getting real close. "I was quirk less at the time so I had to defend my self in some way." This answer gave pause to his steps. "Izuku already knows about my new quirk." We'll talk about this later." Yagi said very confused

Reaching Izuku I put on a smile just as easily as Yagi. "C'mon Izuku we are gonna run first." "What were you two talking about?" Izuku innocently asked. "You'll fined out later in your career ok so just be patient alright." I said to Izuku letting him know that it wasn't for his eyes yet. "We'll run while Mr. Yagi has to deal with something before we comeback after we are done. I'm pretty sure he'll call you." I said to Izuku smiling and he looked back to a smiling Yagi nodding as well.

It was nearly two and a halve hours before Izuku got a text from Yagi telling him he could come back. It took us only ten minutes to return and after drinking and resting a bit he was finally told to clean the beach. "Didn't realize that the cops worked so fast" "they don't need very much to be cataloged. Especially with the patterns of those cuts and how cleanly they were we should already know who did it." Yagi contemplated why he was even saying anything to a child.

"Well I'll be staying around just in case and practice this new ability I have." I sit on a warn out tire pretending to practice shapes in front of Yagi. Until an hour later of messing with complex shapes I just decide to create the bow fire at the ocean. "Young Hunter might I ask why you are shooting arrows into the sea?" "I just wanted to see if I could make the bow some what non lethal so I could shoot at Izuku."

At this Yagi had a somewhat serious expression on his face. "Why would you shoot young Midoriya?" "Three reasons honestly one is to get him to dodge two I can get practice shooting the bow non lethally, Three is to genuinely practice my aim with a bow."

"hmm I suppose you make you make a good point, Young Midoriya will have to doge various dangerous hazards being a hero. Ah that reminds me do you wish to become a hero like him?"

"I do, at least some what but I am pretty sure I'm gonna do it for his moms sake." "His mothers sake?" Yagi looked at me questioningly. "I am very sure that even if Izuku had all might's quirk his mother was still be against him being a hero out of the safety of his health."

The silence was much needed as Izuku had continued to bring trash to a pile. At least he is way faster in the beginning and way more determined to be better than he already was. I wonder if I should randomize Nezu's office the moment I get there. I chuckle at the thought.

Three months passed as Izuku was just about halve way done completing the clean up. He has also gotten better at dodging my slow arrows, Maybe I should shoot more to make him think. Mr. Yagi has been much more chill and as I've eavesdropped he might just give Izuku the quirk early. On a side note Izuku learned how to use his legs.

I sat on the mana created little fishing boat it not taking more than I could regen watching from the sea just about a mile out. It seems Izuku is currently lifting a tire. One thing I've noticed is that no matter how hot it gets for Izuku he seemed to never take his shirt off if front of anybody other than his mother. To each their own I suppose.

Just like that we had a month left before the exam Izuku was already done with the with the pile and had consumed the forbidden hair just an hour ago, So we waited out in the ocean waiting for it to kick in for Izuku. whipping out my mana rod I sit and pretend to fish.

"What are you doing Hunter?" "I'm fishin." "Why are you fishing" I turned to Izuku. "Hush you'll scare the fish away." I whisper to him as I sit back in my boat waiting to be called back with Izuku so that and we and I quote "relax and have a nice time in the sun like kids should." Bullshit I say.

'I bet that dumbass Yagi is hitting up my ma I mean Izuku's mom. Ooh the moment I get back on land Ima attempt to beat his ass.' "Hunter you ok It look like you're pretty upset." Snapping out of it I turn to him. "Just a little tired and well, Just tired" "Then shouldn't we get back to land if you are feeling tired." Izuku asked a little worried since we were out a mile from the beach. "I suppose we do have like halve an hour before we can come back so why not.

Using my manipulation of water I make a current and head towards land faster than my little boat a reason to be. "Just another couple minutes then we'll be there." I tell Izuku finally getting some what sick of the sea.

Hitting land the both of us hop out the boat and Izuku has a strange expression on his face. "Hurry up we got to go home." We set on home as the greenett gets a call and explaining how we are already on our way home. Moments later in comfortable silence we arrive home opening the door and taking our shoes off near the door, Another twenty minutes and Izuku had gotten done with his shower as did I in the other shower. 

Nine months and Izuku finally did it he got one for all early and soon I'll help him to be better so he could actually dodge my good arrows. So now sitting in my room not having learned a damn thing I could do with mana, I lay my head to rest having put Ideas of a knock off destructo disk on the back burner.
