Advancement in mana core rankings involves purification up to the white rank, with a significant turning point at the integration rank. Breaking through to the integration rank requires completion of the three step integration process.
Higher ranks require the attunement of the body and the soul to more mana, making them far harder to reach.
First body metamorphosis is achieved at Ascendant rank.
Second body metamorphosis is achieved at Immortal rank.
First soul metamorphosis is achieved at Radiant Rank.
Second soul metamorphosis is achieved at Divine Rank.

There are four levels of mastery - The novice realm of mastery required 25% understanding. The adept realm of mastery required 50% understanding, the virtuoso realm required 75% understanding, and lastly the zenith realm, the pinnacle of art mastery, required 100% understanding.
World:
The world is a vast supercontinent with various islands, technologically a few decades ahead of our time, and divided into five regions.
Central Continent:
Ruled by the Slatemark Empire, integrating elves and dwarves into society without discrimination.
Northern Continent:
A perpetual battleground against Shadow Seekers, governed by the influential Windward and Creighton families.
Western Continent:
Facing threats from orcs and ogres, ruled by the Ashbluff family known for necromancy.
Eastern Continent:
Once a battleground against vampires, under the Kagu family and the Murim sects (Mount Hua sect, Wudang sect and Southern Edge sect).
Southern Continent:
Battling Dark Beasts under the Viserion family, known for being under the protection of Radiant dragon Tiamat.
Gifts/Blessings:
Unique advantages possessed by certain individuals, such as the gift of necromancy, advanced ocular powers, or exceptional martial art physiques.
Mythos Academy:
The preeminent academy situated on a separate island, founded collaboratively by sects, families, and the empire. A six-year program starting at age 15, culminating at 21, it requires a letter of recommendation and passing an entrance exam. Instructors are high ranks, and students are divided into four classes, with Class A receiving exceptional teachers and having a smaller student pool.
Species:
Humans: The most common race on the continent. Have possibility of being blessed with affinity to any of the eleven elements and can have Gifts. Not inclined to anything in particular and considered to be akin to 'clay' by other races as they can specialise and mould into anything.
Elves: High affinity to wind, water, light, ice, space and time magic at the cost of lower affinity to other elements. Have more vitality compared to humans leading to slightly increased lifespans (balanced by human technological advancement).
Dwarves: High affinity to fire, lightning, gravity and earth magic at the cost of lower affinity to other elements. Shorter but well-built and good-looking like other species in this world. Higher average intelligence than humans and elves at the cost of lower levels of weapon mastery.
Vampires: Powerful race capable of using black mana. Need to absorb vitality in order to get enough energy to move their powerful bodies. Sunlight can burn lower-level vampires as light directly counters their variation of black mana.
Shadow Seekers: Manifestations of the darkness element of black mana.
Dark beasts: Black magic beasts, hostile to all beings using normal mana and magic.
Orcs and ogres: Races corrupted by black mana. Lower levels of rationality and live a life in between that of beasts and humans. Powerful bodies and high level of vitality but low capability of using magic to cast spells.
Dragons: Species considered to be the peak. Genderless with very low reproductive rate. Unlike other races, their dragon heart is always present no matter how strong they become.
Phoenixes: Species considered to be the peak. Genderless with very low reproductive rate. Capable of rebirth if even one cell is left intact, but full power won't be restored.
Magic:
Two main types of substances can be utilised for magic: mana and black mana (known as miasma by demons). The individual uses either one depending on their species.
Black mana species are very hostile to mana species, thus leading to the constant wars that Earth is embroiled in.
Black mana is very similar to mana as it has the same elements and similar power progression, the only difference seems to be that it is another substance.
Three ways of using mana are: aura, circle and aether.
Aura is the method of using mana that involves increasing physical attributes and using it in a more physical way.
Circle method involves performing numerical calculations on the fly to use mana to cast spells, manifesting mana far away from the body.
Aether is the way of using mana alongside aetherite to create mana technology, something previously thought to be impossible.
