Chapter 7: Wedding planner:
"So. I found the flowers she would love to have in her wedding," said Utahime, showing a flower that has dark, wing-like petals resembling a bat, deep purple to black blooms, and long, whisker-like appendages that can reach up to a foot in length. "Bat flowers!"
"Um, I'm sure that's not it," said your Mother. "My Daughter loves peonies."
"Auntie, you've probably been lied to. Or was she just joking around? Well, I know her too well. After all, I'm almost her beloved sister~ " said Utahime, with a charm, trying to convince your Mother to believe her. "How about we just plan this with her?"
"Well, isn't her whole wedding supposed to be a surprise? She doesn't even know the date of it," said Shoko. "Exactly. So Auntie... I guess it's the best you let me plan the wedding for her. I'm her best friend anyway," said Utahime. Your Mother decided to trust her. "Fine, sweetie."
"So about the cake then. A vanill-" Satoru's Mother was interrupted by Utahime, "Lemon pie! Yes! Not a cake! A lemon pie would do!"
"Woah. No way. We need a cake, not a pie," said your Mother. "How about a lemon pie cake? Sounds good," said Satoru's Mother with a soft smile. "But my Daughter doesn't even-" Your Mother got interrupted by Utahime, "Actually, she loves lemon pies. I met up with her earlier today since Satoru took her out. We bought her a lemon pie to retry and she loved it. She rated it 12/10," Utahime lied. "You know... I can't really make sure about any of this, so I think it's best if I call her and ask," said your Mother. "But Auntie, then she would realise that we're planning already," said Suguru. "You're right, kid." Your Mother responded.
Satoru's other close friends than Suguru and Shoko was Nanami, Haibara, and Mei Mei. They were also over to plan for your wedding ceremony. But none of them knew Utahime's intentions in ruining your wedding for you because you two were best friends the last time they saw you together. They had no idea what happened between you two at the arcade. They were innocent and focused on helping your Mother, Satoru's Parents, and Utahime to plan the wedding. "I really feel like taking some time to talk to her and get to know her. So that I could make sure we're doing everything right for her wedding," said Haibara with a smile. "You mean hers and our Satoru's wedding?" Shoko smirked. "Right? We gotta tease him a bit more about this," Haibara smirked back at Shoko. "Shut up, you two. Haibara, do you not trust me? At least her Mother trusts me. So you zip it." said Utahime. Haibara rolled his eyes and Utahime seemed annoyed, "anyways. Leave her be, Haibara. I am her other half, so I know what she wants."
"Other half? Isn't that Satoru? Since they're getting married soon," said Mei Mei.
"I'm so jealous."
"Heh? Why would you be jealous? You like actually him or something?" Shoko asked. "Are you kidding me? He's the most bro of all bros to me," she responded. "Is that why you're always flirting with him?" Shoko teased. "Yeah, you got to end that now, Mei Mei. He's getting married soon," said Nanami. "I will, alright? After all, I'm the one who respects him the most from the gang," said Mei Mei confidentially and jokingly, making Haibara laugh, and making Suguru chuckle.
"Anyways. How about a neon pink wedding dress?" Said Utahime, turning back and looking at everyone with a punchable wide smile. "Ew! No way!" Said Shoko. "That is not the color for a bride at all!"
"Sweetheart, even if my Daughter would want that, I wouldn't accept it..." Said your Mother. "Just kidding, Auntie," Utahime smiled at her. She went out to the balcony, rolling her eyes, thinking of the worst wedding dress possible.
A soft-hearted young lady of your age with short white hair. Always had tiny rose hair clips on her hair, always gave warm smiles to people no matter how they treated her. "We shall treat people the way we wish to be treated, right? After all, they're all living beings with hearts, feelings, and souls. Am I wrong?" Word after word, she always smiled. "Even animals deserve the same treatment as humans. And so do bugs. We all got families and work to do. You began to remember her for some reason. You couldn't really tell why, but you felt refreshed thinking about her. Her face looked poetic, her movements seemed poetic, her voice sounded poetic, she was poetic to you. Her character was what inspired you to read poems, study poems, and even write some. But you kept all the poems you wrote under your pillows and bed cause of your strict, overprotective Mother who doesn't want you working or doing anything other than being a good housewife to Satoru Gojo. "Was she really just a classmate? Perhaps... A true friend, but destined to let go without noticing?" You asked yourself while you were in Satoru's car when he seemed to be napping. His eyes were covered with a black blindfold. "She was so nice to me. I wonder why. Or was she just nice to everyone? Seemed like it," you said to yourself. "What are you yapping about to yourself? You disturbed my sleep. So annoying," said 🎀Your Fiance, Satoru Gojo🎀, removing his blindfold and rubbing his eyes with his wrists, then his fingers. "Nothing," you looked out away, out the car, embarrassed. "I think I know who you were talking about," said Satoru, turning to you. You look back at him. "Uraume," said both of you together at the same time. "Jinx!"
"Double jinx!" You said together for the third time. "Damn, triple jinx!?" Said Satoru, feeling excited and playful after a long time. "Nostalgia, huh?" You smiled. "Yeah. 2016 is gold." Said Gojo, leaning back onto the driver's seat in his car. "Ahem. Anyways. Did you think that I forgot you're a cheater?" You asked, crossing your arms and looking away. Satoru sighed. "I'm just waiting for you to move on from that."
"Fuck you," you said, aggressively trying to open the door of the car to get out. "Unlock this shit already," you demanded Satoru. He was confused at why you got all burned up all of a sudden, but he unlocked it just for you. You never expected him to do it. You were expecting him to keep you in. "You unlocked it? Fuck you even more," you said, giving him your middle finger. He grabbed your hand and sucked your middle finger. You freaked out, you screamed, and you got out the car. "What kind of creature are you!?"
Satoru got out the car laughing. "I love your reactions. They're really cute."
"Whatever. You're wild," you crossed your arms. "I take that as a compliment," said Satoru. "Now tell me. Why did you get mad when I said that I was just waiting for you to move on from-" he was interrupted by you. You aggressively and angrily shout. "Because you're supposed to apologize, or beg to be forgiven when you hurt someone! Someone like me! I'm your soon-to-be wife! You're supposed to at least hug me or even kiss my foot at this point!"
Satoru smirked. "Really?" He walked closer to you. You backed away a few steps. "Don't try to get away now. You asked for it," he said, grabbing your forearm and...
💌 You didn't know you loved him...
