Chapter 37
Chapter 37: Retro Mechanical Group
Fang Jian was unaware that there were cameras in the conference room. At this moment, his conversation with Zhang Liang was transmitted to a certain location. General Wang Jianguo and Mr. Xu Mohua were watching this scene unfold.
Upon hearing Fang Jian’s words, Mr. Xu Mohua stood up immediately, his eyes gleaming excitedly. Initially, they had only asked out of curiosity, just in case.
Could this young man acquire all of these machines? If that were true…
They exchanged a glance, both feeling a surge of excitement.
“Mr. Xu, which machines do you think are more important?” Wang Jianguo asked in a deep voice.
Xu Mohua glanced at the list in his hand and thought each machine was important.
So, which machines were more important?
This was indeed a headache-inducing question. After contemplating for a long time, Xu Mohua picked up a pen and drew thick black lines on five machines, but after some thought, he marked three more.
“Tell him to focus on these eight machines,” Xu Mohua said solemnly. “If he can manage to acquire any of them, it will contribute to our country.”
Wang Jianguo nodded heavily and said, “Good, I will convey the message.”
After a moment, Zhang Liang relayed Fang Jian’s request, and within five minutes, a new list landed in Fang Jian’s hands. A wry smile appeared on his lips as he looked at the eight machines marked as priorities. Three were from small manufacturers, three were from Germany, and two were from a beautiful country.
Hmm, these three countries are all highly technologically advanced nations.
Fang Jian nodded slightly, folded the small booklet, and said, “I’m hungry. Treat me to a meal.”
“Sure,” Zhang Liang responded without hesitation. “As long as you can get the equipment for us, I’m willing to treat you to a lifetime of meals.”
A lifetime of meals?
Fang Jian glanced at the other person and couldn’t help but think to himself. Eating with Zhang Liang meant just cafeteria food. But to his surprise, this company had its cafeteria, and the food was pretty good, too.
After the meal, Fang Jian went home to take a nap. However, he immediately stepped into the spacious room once he entered his bedroom. This time, Fang Jian didn’t continue searching for Zhuge Erma.
He silently stared at the wall of the space room and used the search function to find a place called “Antique Machinery Group.”
Through his research and observations during this period, Fang Jian had already learned that this was a world that existed a thousand years in the future, developed from Earth. All historical figures matched perfectly.
However, whenever Fang Jian tried to explore the history of this world, he only encountered noise. In other words, he could only engage in material exchanges with the people here, but exploring other aspects was beyond his abilities. On the space room wall, there was a huge screen displaying countless pieces of information.
Zhuge Erma was found by Fang Jian from above, and started to contact him. If Fang Jian still wanted minerals, this person with a black box printer would undoubtedly be the best choice. But this time, his objective was no longer minerals.
Fang Jian browsed for a moment in this group of retro machines. Then he chose one of the individuals who frequently appeared online, someone who had previously conducted numerous business deals with others.
This person’s name was Sima Shengjie. Fang Jian had no idea whether it was a pseudonym or a real name.
The space room had built-in communication capabilities, so the other party quickly answered after Fang Jian requested a call.
A man appeared on the screen on the wall. It was a slender middle-aged man with noticeable wrinkles on his forehead, but his eyes were sharp and lively.
“Hello, may I ask who you are?”
Fang Jian smiled and said, “Hello, I saw your conversations in the Antique Machinery Group, and I’m interested in antique machinery. I would like to place a custom order. Do you have any channels?”
