**CHAPTER 3: GRADES Continued**
The wild Lin boy charged toward Damon, aiming for his back with fierce determination.
"You know I've been waiting for you, rat of our bloodline," he spat.
In that moment, Damon executed a frenzied step, revealing a glimpse of his past life as the infamous mad Asura. He was a man who had slaughtered and devoured the flesh of thousands, a true madman—and it was this very figure that the Lin boy chose to confront.
"Hahaha!" he laughed, dodging the strike of the sword. Just as he created enough distance to land a punch aimed at the boy's head, his sister Emily intervened, summoning four creatures from the abyss. Two were dispatched to restrain her brother, while the other two held back the Lin boy's protectors, having recognized the threat he posed to her sibling.
"And what makes you think you can harm my beloved baby brother?" she retorted, her voice unleashing a wave of void energy that obliterated the man's torso. In that instant, his thoughts were consumed by the shocking realization of his own dismemberment.
"Ahhhhh! Please, spare me just this once! We were in the wrong!" he cried, acutely aware of how close he was to death, his pleas echoing in the air.
"Emily, let me handle this," Damon said calmly as she withdrew her abyssal creatures. He stepped forward, locking eyes with the Lin boy. "What's your name?" he inquired, looking down at him.
"My name is Lin Feng! Are you scared now?!" the boy proclaimed arrogantly.
But before he could utter another word, Damon swiftly sent his palms and feet flying, The crowd watched in horror as a ten-year-old child exhibited such mercilessness. At that moment, Damon seemed indifferent to the world around him. He strode toward the severed palms, extracting the boy's spatial ring, and methodically placed each dismembered part into his storage bag. The onlookers were left speechless by his actions.
"Let's leave now!" Emily urged, her voice laced with anger. But her worst fears materialized before her eyes.
"No, you should all stay here forever,"
Damon and Emily gazed upward, they spotted a smiling old man hovering in the sky.
In a sudden rush of instinct, Damon yanked his sister back, sensing a dampness around their necks. "That was close," he muttered, gripping his throat.
"What should we do, brother?" Emily asked, trembling with fear. She recognized the old man as a being from the Commander realm, a tier of power within the Aoki continent that was notorious for its formidable strength.
The realms were well-known:
- The Rookie realm, celebrated for its superhuman strength.
- The Soldier realm, capable of punching through mountains.
- The Commander realm, with the power to obliterate an entire mountain.
- The King realm, where one could create their own mini world filled with terrifying might.
- The Emperor realm, a precarious state for many, where an enraged emperor could topple a nation of fierce warriors.
-The realm of ascension possessed powers that transcended the limits of human thought.
In a bustling corner of the arena, Pyo was making his way back to reunite with his sect when he suddenly spotted a stout man who bore an uncanny resemblance to him.
"Pyo, who was that child you were speaking with earlier?" the man inquired, his voice thick with curiosity. Pyo recounted the events that had transpired, his words tumbling out in a rush. "Amitba! No wonder my instincts have been urging me to end his life."
As they turned their attention to the stage, they were met with a sight that stirred disgust in the chubby man's heart. Yet, even in this moment of turmoil, Pyo's compassion shone through. "Father, please help them. As a reward for my performance, I beg you to save them." With a heart full of remorse, he leaped onto the stage, using his formidable king realm strength to block an impending strike from the elder.
"Such wickedness! How dare you use such brutal force against children? Let them go!" Pyo's father confronted the old man, his voice steady and authoritative.
"Esteemed elder of the Buddha sect, you have witnessed the darkness within this child's heart. Allow me to rid the world of his menace!" the old man retorted, urgency lacing his tone.
Pyo's father felt a surge of anger at the old man's dismissive response; it had already been a trying day, and saving this devil's spawn was not what he had signed up for. Meanwhile, Damon stood by, quietly observing the unfolding drama. He recognized the reluctance in the large monk's heart and turned his gaze to Pyo, understanding that he was the reason the stout man was willing to intervene. Damon silently vowed to repay Pyo for this act of kindness.
As the two men continued their heated exchange, Damon seized his sister's hand, employing every technique he had mastered to reach their mount with utmost urgency. "They're getting away!" the old man bellowed, realizing the threat that Damon posed if allowed to grow unchecked. "Never!" He lunged forward, but the stout monk stepped in, thwarting his attack.
At last, Damon and Emily had mounted their steed, the mist-eater releasing a thick fog from every pore of its body, cloaking them in obscurity as they vanished from sight, leaving chaos in their wake.
"Let's go!"
Damon exclaimed, laughter spilling from his lips as he celebrated by fending off the ravens. "How dare you, you punk!" she retorted, slapping him and pounding her fists against his chest, tears of joy streaming down her face. She felt an overwhelming relief to be alive and silently vowed to get him back for this .
Suddenly, Damon's expression shifted as he spoke,
"By the way, don't let those disgusting creatures touch me."
His voice was laced with anger, for their contact felt as if they were reaching into his very soul. She turned her head slightly, a small smile tugging at her lips, amused by his sensitivity.
On the first night of their journey home, they found themselves seeking refuge in a cave. It was here that Damon would attempt to break through into the rookie realm. His sister, Emily, a seasoned expert of the peak rookie realm, understanding the significance of this moment. It was crucial that they found a cave devoid of threats, a sanctuary for his transformation.
