Chapter 2: Chapter 2 Thought Crazy

The Dimension Traveler's Power

The power of dimension travelers is the most sought-after ability by protagonists across different dimensions.

With just a thought or by tearing space, you can travel to another dimension, whether it's your own world or another planet.

On Earth, there are two different dimensions: one for demons, jinn, and ghosts, and the other for living creatures—humans, animals, and insects.

Only by becoming a spirit can humans see other realms on Earth. Weak spirits are vulnerable to attacks from stronger spirits.

This is the journey of Zeyric Valen, as he seeks the truth about the world with his soul-traveling power.

There are two conditions under which Zeyric Valen's soul can leave his body: 1) while sleeping, and 2) through deep meditation.

Having slept for so long, his body became weak, and so did his spirit. People believe that when the body weakens, the spirit weakens too, and that is the truth. So, Zeyric Valen continued to sleep, focusing deeply.

Focusing on a single point is the hardest thing, but effort never betrays results. His body and spirit finally separated, and with his mind, he could traverse dimensions, and with flight, he could soar through the skies.

Zeyric Valen's Journey

His spirit detached from his body after deep focus during sleep. He could move freely, though his speed was almost as fast as an eagle.

Outside his home, the human world astonished Zeyric Valen. He saw something breathtaking: humans had been living alongside demons, jinn, and ghosts all this time.

In fact, demons, jinn, and ghosts are beings who are not accepted by either Heaven or Hell. Therefore, in each realm of the underworld, there are special places to contain those who have been rejected by both Heaven and Hell.

This is what I discovered after leaving my house. I can only leave my body for a short time because if I stay too long, my body could be possessed by ghosts, causing me to lose my body.

Above the Sky

A crack appeared, not just near my house but across the entire country. This crack was invisible to humans because it would open a portal to send the souls of the deceased. I took this opportunity to leave Earth.

It wasn't Hell or Heaven that I ended up in, but another world! A world almost identical to Earth, with the same culture.

I panicked. How could I return to my body? I thought, but then I saw that there was also a crack in the sky of their world. So, I tried entering that crack.

Unbelievable! I made it back to Earth!

But I kept wondering, how could this be? Wasn't the crack supposed to lead to the underworld? Why did I end up in another world?

After thinking for a while, I came up with one answer.

"Could it be because I'm still alive?" I thought.

This was the most logical answer!

So I decided to take advantage of this to return to another world. It turns out that each crack that appears in different places leads to different worlds, but for those who are already dead, the world behind the crack is always the underworld.

However, if you've been to another world, you must remember which crack you passed through to get there, or else you'll end up in another world by mistake.

The crack is like glass; you can only enter and exit from the same place.

Because I had previously gotten lost between worlds.

At that time, my brain almost melted just trying to understand it. Now, this was my third experiment. I went in and out quickly because time was running out.

Something unexpected happened. As I tried to return to Earth, a powerful thunderbolt struck the hospital where I was. Had I been discovered for sneaking around? I thought.

Instead of panicking, I checked on my body.

"Thank goodness this hospital has equipment that can dampen electricity." Even so, my body was injured. Was this a divine warning? Is it something from the famous novel?

"Ishhh... I don't believe it!" I defied the decision of Heaven.

As I returned to my body, the sky became overcast. Whispering voices filled the air, and only I could hear them.

With my eyes, I saw from the roof that melted, a hole appeared. Through it, countless needles flew toward me. I tried to escape, but the needles followed my every movement, and eventually, I couldn't dodge anymore, and my body was pierced by numerous needles.

I screamed in pain, and the nurses, hearing my screams, were startled. I woke up from a coma, screaming, and they thought I was insane. They couldn't see the needles, and when I asked if they saw them, they thought I was crazy! So, I was sent to a mental hospital.

My body blistered one by one; it was excruciatingly painful!

Psychiatric Ward

The doctor examining me was stunned by what he saw.

"This is the first time I've seen a mental patient with a body covered in blisters, like they've been burned by extremely hot water!" The doctor said, staring incredulously.

Hearing the word "insane" made me rebel! "You call me a mental patient, you idiot!" I jeered, trying to give the doctor the middle finger.

He looked at me with pity. "How sad! So young, yet already insane..." I heard the word "insane" again.

Unable to stand the mocking, I growled, grinding my teeth, trying to break free from the restraints, but nothing worked.

"BASTARD! JERK! I'LL KILL YOU!!! I'M NOT CRAZY! YOU BALD-HEADED IDIOT!!!" My scream echoed in all directions.

The doctors covered their ears from the overwhelming sound.

While they were distracted, I tried to escape, but one of the doctors, who was wearing headphones, injected me with a sedative through a needle in my arm.

I screamed in despair!

My body slowly weakened...

My vision faded...

Eventually, I lost consciousness...

It was so dark...

Whispers in the Darkness

Zeyric's body grew weaker, and his vision began to fade. The darkness enveloped him, making him feel as though he was sinking into an endless hole. Each second felt so long, yet his body grew emptier, as if he had fallen into an unseen void.

"All this time... was it the end?" he thought. "Or am I trapped in a never-ending space?"

The darkness consumed everything—thoughts, feelings, even time. Zeyric felt himself trapped in something larger and darker than he could have ever imagined. There was no fear, just despair that bound him.

But then, in the silence, a voice suddenly echoed. Soft yet piercing, the whisper resounded in his ears.

"Zeyric..." The voice came from every direction, like wind whispering in an unseen darkness. "Zeyric... you can still fight."

Somehow, the whisper grew louder. The voice became unstructured, as though it came from a place beyond human comprehension, vibrating in a space that defied shape.

"Zeyric..." The voice came from everywhere, undisturbed by words, vibrating like energy crossing unseen dimensions. "Zeyric... you... still... exist."

Zeyric tried to find the source of the voice, but there was only silence that grew deeper. "Who... who is speaking?" he muttered, his voice fading in the emptiness. But the whisper continued, growing stronger and deeper, like a tremor traveling through dimensions that had never been reached by human understanding.

"You... fight... rise... no end... no... time..."

The voice became erratic, like an uncountable wave, spinning in a broader dimension, transcending the limits of mind and body.

It felt like drowning in darkness, and the whisper gradually faded, piece by piece.

A faint call could be heard, and human breaths brushed against Zeyric Valen's skin.

Zeyric opened his eyes, the darkness and whispers surrounding him vanished entirely. The scene around him was a white room with bright lights. His body was chained tightly, as if he were a captive animal.

Zeyric Valen exhaled deeply...

"Ah..."
