Chapter 39:
Chapter 39: Xu Hao: Want to Learn? I’ll Teach You:
“What the heck… This guy’s really going all out?”
Hearing the twins call the man in front of them ‘Dad,’ the punks were stunned. They couldn’t believe this handsome middle-aged man could be the father of these two young women.
They dismissed the possibility, leaving only one conclusion: the twins must be his mistresses. They even called him ‘Dad’ as part of their role-play, which made the young punks envious.
“Hey, man, you…” one of the punks started to speak, but he was cut off by a punch to the gut. His eyes bulged as he doubled over and was sent flying backwards.
Didn’t he know that villains die from talking too much?
Xu Hao had no intention of wasting words with this group.
In a flash, he appeared before another punk and delivered a powerful kick.
A piercing crack echoed as the punk’s ribs broke, and he collapsed to the ground, screaming in agony.
One by one, Xu Hao took them down.
This was his first time fighting, intending to test his strength. Unfortunately, these guys were too weak. He didn’t even need to use his master-level close combat skills; his sheer strength was enough to incapacitate each punk with a single blow.
Even while holding back, Xu Hao’s strikes were devastating.
The six punks were utterly defeated.
They weren’t his subordinates but were lured by Old Mo, so Xu Hao felt free to beat them up as he saw fit.
If he hadn’t hit them hard, his clever daughters might have suspected it was all an act.
The twins watched in awe as Xu Hao easily took down the punks, leaving them battered on the ground.
They were certain this man was their father, but when did he become so powerful?
Catching toys effortlessly, winning games, and now this?
Their admiration for Xu Hao grew, feeling a surge of warmth as they realized he was fighting so fiercely to protect them.
The sense of being cared for, cherished, and protected filled their hearts with warmth.
When Xu Hao stopped, the sisters rushed over.
“Dad, are they going to be okay?” Xu Shiqing asked.
“They’ll live. Getting beaten up for harassing you is letting them off easy,” Xu Hao replied, still looking angry. He turned to check on his daughters. “Are you both alright? Did they hurt you?”
The sisters were deeply moved.

Seeing the increase in emotion points, Xu Hao smiled with satisfaction.
His efforts had paid off.
He then took his precious daughters home, leaving the scene to be handled by his secretary, Li Kun.
…
From the moment they called him ‘Dad,’ the distance between them vanished completely.
On the way home, Xu Shiqing couldn’t hold back her curiosity any longer.
“Dad… about that painting…” She had a hunch it was her dad who modified her artwork, but she wanted to hear it from him.
“That painting? I thought it was quite good, but it wasn’t perfect, so I made a few adjustments. Did I cause any trouble for you?”
“What trouble?” Xu Shiqing was about to speak when Xu Huayi cut in.
“Dad, you wouldn’t believe it. She took your painting to a national competition and won first place!”
Xu Shiqing quickly covered her sister’s mouth to stop her from saying more. This younger sister had no sense of propriety, even mocking her own sister. Did Xu Huayi think she could get away with this? Xu Shiqing vowed to discipline her sister properly soon.
“Oh? Really? That’s impressive…” Xu Hao said approvingly. “That painting was originally Shiqing’s. I just made a few modifications. She deserves the credit.”
“Dad, please don’t tease me. Without your changes, I’d be lucky to win first place in a school competition, let alone a national one…” Xu Shiqing sighed, knowing her own level.
“Don’t be so modest. Your skills are almost at a breakthrough point, and you’re still young. Surpassing me is just a matter of time.”
“Really? Can I really draw as well as you?” Xu Shiqing asked, eyes wide with hope.
“Want to learn? I’ll teach you,” Xu Hao smiled.
“Dad, that’s exactly what she’s been waiting for you to say,” Xu Huayi chimed in, having freed herself from her sister’s grip. “After winning the national competition, our teacher wants her to enter an international one. She doesn’t feel confident enough and wants to learn from you.”
Xu Shiqing felt both embarrassed and annoyed.
Her sister was too good at stirring things up. Grabbing one of the drinks Xu Hao had bought, she opened it and poured it into her sister’s mouth.
Gulp… Gulp…
If Xu Huayi liked to interrupt, let’s see how she talked now.
“Entering an international competition, huh? When we get home, I’ll train you for a while. You’ll bring back another first-place prize,” Xu Hao said confidently.
The sisters had seen Xu Hao’s painting skills. If he competed, winning first place would be a given. But teaching her to win on her own made Xu Shiqing feel a bit insecure.
Xu Hao: How about hands-on teaching?
…
The sisters were deeply moved by Xu Hao today.
When they got home, they brought him tea and water. When Su Wanqiu returned from the beauty salon, she saw this heartwarming scene of a loving father and his devoted daughters. The daughters, who had previously shown no affection, were now calling him ‘Dad’ nonstop.
“Mom, you’re back. Perfect timing for dinner,” Xu Huayi said, noticing Su Wanqiu and pulling her to the dining table.
Previously, the daughters would stay as far from Xu Hao as possible during meals. Now, they sat on either side of him, even serving him food.
Su Wanqiu thought she was seeing things and wiped her eyes to be sure.
Had the sun risen in the west today?
