Atachi One

Chapter : Chapter 1 v2 (intermediate chapter)

Chapter 1 is the most important for laying the foundation of the story of Atachi One, so the concepts will be much more detailed to ensure a solid understanding of how my novel works.

Summary of events in Chapter 1:

The chapter opens with a mysterious scene where two figures, one naked and the other in divine armor, exchange words full of mystery in a sacred space called the Nothing and All, the last remnant between the unreal and the tangible. This enigmatic conversation sets the stage for a transcendent intrigue, where the end seems inevitable.

On Terra, the city of Deza is overwhelmed by an invasion of monsters rising from the ground, spreading chaos and desolation. The local heroes struggle desperately but are powerless against B-rank enemies, who surpass their strength. Among them, a hero tries to protect a mother and her daughter, but fails, succumbing to his injuries after a fierce battle.

It is then that Atachi, a mysterious warrior, makes his appearance. With overwhelming power, he eliminates the monsters with disconcerting ease, even annihilating their leader, Greyo. Despite his life-saving actions, Deza is reduced to ashes, and more than half of its population perishes. Atachi disappears, leaving the survivors and heroes stunned in front of a field of ruins, marking the city as a sad cemetery of broken lives.

Brief explanation of the events before Chapter 1:

Greyo was a scientist working for a research organization of the Yorquin Rangers Terra, inside a base located in the depths of Deza. The madness of Dr. Greyo eventually led him to embark on a quest to create the perfect creature, combining various monster genes that were captured beforehand. Working in the greatest secrecy, he spread a type of virus that transformed his entire team into monsters. This marks the beginning of the attack on Deza.

Concepts to clarify:

Nothing and All: This place is considered the last remnant of the greatest war in the history of the novel. This location cannot be described because it exceeds everything human comprehension has ever created up to that point.

Example: In the infinitely vast, things and concepts become increasingly abstract, defying all known things. The Nothing and All is an indescribable place at the start of the novel, but its importance will be crucial later. But don't worry too much about it, it will appear towards the end of the work, so there's no need to dwell on it for now.

The Monsters: The appearance of the first monsters comes from an event in Terra's history called "the Cataclysm of Sananka," which took place in the last century.

Origin: A horde of monsters appearing at any given place will never be the same, meaning a monster attack = a different dimension. On Terra, there are about one hundred attacks per day, and they are never in the same place. 1 day = 100 different worlds → 1 year = 36,500 different worlds having attacked Terra, thus an absolutely monstrous diversity.

Therefore, it is impossible to predict their arrival or their danger in advance.

Monster Ranks and the threat level of a monster attack:

Terra's scale:

Rank E: Threatens the integrity of a neighborhood

RankD: Threatens the integrity of a city

Rank C: Threatens the integrity of a region

Rank B: Threatens the integrity of a country

Rank A: Threatens the integrity of the continent

Rank S: Planetary threat

Higher levels exist, but they are not relevant at the moment.

Terra: The planet Terra is 10 times superior to Earth in our reality, belonging to its own solar system and orbiting around its star. It has over a thousand countries, with a total population of more than one trillion Terranians.

Diversity of Terra: All the landscapes, climates, cultures, languages—there are no limits to the diversity that this planet possesses. Indeed, some Terranians have created their own civilizations in unusual locations, such as more than 100 kilometers above the ground on floating islands, or constructions inside magma itself. Almost everything is possible on this planet.

Cosmology: With the appearance of multiple worlds, the universe in which the story takes place involves at least a level 2 multiverse for the beginning of the manga.

Explanation: Imagine a vast library where each book is an entire universe. Some are similar to our own, with galaxies, stars, and familiar physical laws. These collections are called Level 1 Multiverses. In these universes, everything is close to what you know: gravity attracts, light shines, and time flows just as it does in our world.

But as you flip through the shelves of this cosmic library, you would come across much stranger volumes. Level 2 Multiverses no longer follow our rules. Here, gravity could be reversed, or stars might shine in colors that our eyes could never see. These universes are made up of laws that defy our logic.

The Heroes of Terra: Some Terranians, wishing to defend the oppressed, are trained after having followed a course at an institution called the "Academy of Sananka," where young individuals with the potential to serve and defend the cause of Terra are trained to later become heroes capable of overcoming the threat of inter-dimensional calamities.

At the end of their training, they enter the only defense organization of Terra: the Yorquin Rangers Terra.

Particularities of the Terranians: Terranians are special. They can master all elements, all technological, magical, spiritual, or conceptual weapons. Their powers and skills are as varied as they are improbable.

However, Terranians have affinities for certain arts, and the diversity of these affinities depends on the parents. But no Terranian lower than Class A Alpha possesses more than 10 different powers.

Origin of this affinity: Will be explained in the novel.

Ranking:

The classes are divided into 24 classes:

Class Z OmegaClass A AlphaClass B BetaClass C GammaClass D DeltaClass E EpsilonClass F ZetaClass G EtaClass H ThetaClass I IotaClass J KappaClass K LambdaClass L MuClass M NuClass N XiClass O OmicronClass P PiClass Q RhoClass R SigmaClass S TauClass T UpsilonClass U PhiClass V ChiClass W Psi

Power levels on a planetary scale:

Lower classes (Class W Psi to K Lambda):

Power level ranging from Mountain to Country (Maximum a country like France).

Normal classes (Class J Kappa to D Delta):

Power level ranging from Large country (countries larger than 900,000 km²) to Continent (Europe and its 10,180,000 km²).

Superior classes (Class C Gamma and B Beta): Power level ranging from Planet (Earth) to Star (Rigel, which has 78 times the radius of the Sun).

Class A Alpha and Class Z Omega are far beyond the previously mentioned levels.

Magic and various energies:

Terranians are indeed capable of using the very nature of things—magic, mana, qi, ki, etc. These are essences that Terranians have always known how to master since the dawn of time. Their planet is home to many legends and epics about the arrival of these energies, according to myths, legends, and tales.
