A/N btw though i should mention that I haven't read all the Halo books, i've read fall of reach to contact harvest so i'm just gonna mix stuff from the books and mostly games, i'm gonna stop at infinite maybe idk yet

As they had flown they had managed to evade most of the covenant patrols and once the pair of Longsword fighters had arrived they had had a much smoother journey, but all good things must come to an end as eventually the covenant had noticed that they were in a hurry to the last shipyard on the planet and had sent several squads of banshees and seraphs to try and intercept them, the longswords didn't make it easy however as they worked together and took down several seraphs as Emile and Six opened up the bay door of the pelican and used a grenade launcher and a sniper to take down several banshees that had gotten to close, and to top it off one of the marines that was with them had gotten an impromptu flight lesson from Captain Magnus and Carter and even Six would toss over some tips and the lucky trooper managed to take down a few banshees but eventually they were overwhelmed and the longswords went down guns blazing as they were down to the last pair of banshees and a phantom that had just recently tagged along.

As Jamie and Kat move towards the pilots cabin when several plasma bolts hit the pelican, impacting flickering the Spartans shields, looking back they see Emile is firing his grenade launcher at the two Banshees, he concentrates fire on a single Banshee and the grenade detonates close by, and the EMP disables the banshee, which swoops up and crashes into its wingman, both are taken out, but the phantom is still close behind. As he reaches the pilots seat Jamie finds the marine that just learned how to fly keep up with decent evasive maneuvers as Captain Magnus and the other marine apply biofoam to Carters chest as they slowly take him out of the pilots chair "Noble Leader, please respond." Dot calls out as Magnus checks Carters vitals turning to Jamie "He's stable for now but he needs a real medic fast." he says as Dot calls out again "Please respond, Sierra Two-Five-Nine. You are alarming me." giving him a stim shot Magnus turns to Jamie and Kat who is now there as well.

"This pelican won't last much longer, it's a ground game now and we have to jump." he says as he starts to drag Carter into the bay and Jamie helps while asking "What about Carter and you sir, you might not make the fall." he says not wanting to lose someone who would be invaluable in the weeks to come, "Noble two and four will hold him as they jump and you'll hold onto me before I jump and roll the rest of the way." but before he can ask what the captain means he sees him go over to the other marine and talk into his ear. Turning to the other Spartans Jamie watches as Emile tosses his grenade launcher aside as he and Kat figure out how they are going to hold Carter on the way down, as he does this he sees Six off to the side watching the phantom that is still behind them, as he walks over Six turns to him but before he can say anything Captain Magnus bursts back into the bay and to their surprise is now wearing the marines armour.

Seeing his logic but still not getting it Jamie asks "Sir I still don't see how this will help you break the fall-" "ONI can't keep all the implants to themselves." Magnus interrupts as the Spartans just stare at him dumbfounded, combat implants were some of ONI's most guarded secrets and even the Spartans didn't know anything other than what they did but here was the captain, claiming he not only had access to top-secret files but also medical equipment to use them on himself. As the Captain walks forwards and joins them at the back of the bay he gives them a smile before turning serious, "I've given those two marines a crash course on how to fly this bird and keep the covie flyers away from us, so we'll have no air-support from here on," turning to Kat and Emile "You two will jump and keep Carter with you, once we hit the ground it'll be up to you to to keep him going with any supplies we find along the way, Me,Six and Seven will cover you." the he turned to Jamie "You and me are going to take point" Jamie was about to interrupt but "That's an order Spartan." he said giving Jamie a grin knowing he wouldn't break rank, Jamie relented with a nod before Magnus finally turned to Six "Noble Six you'll be our sniper and spotter, take any shots you can" he said as the marines in the pilots seat called out "We're coming up on the drop point sir." they called out and the Spartans and Magnus all got ready to drop, "On my mark." the marine says counting down with his fingers "Mark!".

They leap out and after a second they hit the canyon wall shields flarings as they try their best to slide down and slow their fall without breaking anything, true to his words Magnus jumps off of Jamie halfway down and slides the rest of the way. Reaching the bottom Jamie tucks into a roll as do the others and Kat and Emile immediately start checking on Carter to make sure he survived the fall, Magnus shaking himself walks past Jamie and Six as they try to reorient themselves with Six checking on the casing to the package and satisfied that it remains intact clips it to the back of his armour.

Once they had all gotten their bearings Jamie and Magnus held point and led the others through a narrow crack and come out onto a cliff edge overlooking a large area, up in the sky they see that the pelican still in the air avoiding a pair of banshees that have replaced the phantom and far off in the distance they can see the outline of The Pillar of Autumn resting in the shipyard waiting for them. "Still with us marines?" Magnus asks as the other join them and Jamie spots several covenant milling about at the bottom of the cliff, "We're still kickin, stay low we'll draw their fire from you." the marines reply after a moment, tapping his armour Magnus point to The Pillar of Autumn and jokes "Race you to her."

As the pelican continues to fly overhead Jamie,Magnus and Six reach the bottom of the cliff and waste no time taking down the covenant, making quick work of grunts, jackals and elites as they make their way forward, as they finish up the covenant the find a structure nearby with a wall collapsed and plasma burn covering everything else, looking inside they scrounge for ammo and Kat finds some more biofoam canisters and Emile finds a warthog and a razorback, calling them over Jamie helps Kat to lift Carter into the back of the razorback before hopping into the driver's seat of the warthog with Sixsit riding shotgun with Emile and Magnus in the warthog turret.

Pulling out of the garage they gun it along the road as it snakes through the cliff and they come onto another open area it seems clear but after traveling a short distance covenant troop deployment pods drop and troops emerge from them, to make the situation worse, a Scarab drops from the sky shaking the earth. "Scarab! Do not engage, gun it Seven!" Magnus yells as Jamie wastes no time slamming his foot on the accelerator shooting forward and running over a pair of grunts with Emile close behind. After a few minutes they seem to have left the covenant behind before more insertion pods and another scarab drop down with a bang as the group keeps going at top speed to keep from getting caught, as getting caught meant death.

As they drive into a wall they go around a bend in the road when Jamie looks ahead and sees that the bridge is broken, "The bridge is out, but we can still make the jump so hang on!" he calls out as he speeds up and drives the warthog forward and clears the bridge but instead of relaxing he keeps pushing to not get in the way of Emile who make the jump right after him. "Roads blocked from here, we'll go on foot." Magnus says as he jumps out of the turret and goes into the building Jamie stopped next to, Jamie and Six help Emile and Kat get Carter out of the back of the razorback and the lay him in the building, after setting him down gently Jamie looks around for anything useful while Kat aplies more biofoam to Carter as Magnus comeback with a medkit that Kat uses to patch the other spartans up.

"Hey Emile, come check this out." Jamie says as he moves and shows them what he found, two 'Jackhammer' rocket launchers, with two rockets each "Must be our lucky day." Emile says as he walks over and takes one and Jamie grabs the other before grabbing a M45 Tactical Shotgun and tossing it to Magnus aa Jamie,Six and Kat distribute the assault rifle ammo with Six getting the few sniper rounds that they had found as well. Once they got their things in order the exited the building and as they are about to cross the road block the see several covenant troops milling about, grunts and brutes with a pair of jackal sniper in a watchtower, then the marines on board the pelican call out "Noble Team you got a wraith tank headed your way!" "Copy that, lets move." Magnus says as Jamie kicks things of with a well placed rocket that blows the watchtower and the jackals that were hiding in it to smithereens as Magnus and Emile open up on the grunts nearest to them catching them by surprise, not to be outdone Six even though he is hanging back and primarily helping Kat mover Carter from cover to cover slowly still put holes in the heads of the brutes foolish enough to try and charge right at Noble Team.

As they work their way through the building dodging spikes and plasma fire, they make sure to return the favor taking few shots while taking down everything save for the tank which Jamie lets Emile tackle as he rocket loose and sends his last one for good measure and they watch as the wraith goes up in blue flames. As the start to climb the hill near where the wraith was Jamie spots movement and calls out "Jackals and grunts watch out." he says as he drops to one knee and opens up on a pair of grunts who were close enough for him to see the tubes that connected their breathing mask to the large tank on their back. Emile and Magnus quickly follow suit and they make swift work of the covenant before moving further into the wall before the marines call out again, "Noble! You got a...situation."

Before they can ask what it is, the situation comes to them as a scarab makes its presence known as its climbs down the cliff wall and starts to charge up its laser, "Mother... We can get past it, sir!" Emile says to Magnus while taking a step back not even sure of himself, before Magnus can respond the marines beat him to it, "No, you can't. Not without help." he says as Emile shouts back "You don't have the firepower!" as the scarab draws closer. The pelican flies over and strafes the Scarab is distracting it and it stops charging its cannon. "We've got the mass though!" the marine says as the pelican circles back around "Copy that, hit em hard marines!" Emile says. 

The pelican slams into the scarab's side and explodes as the walker charges its main cannon again, the scarab's side bursts into flames, explosions rocking within it. The scarab lets out a dying "scream" and struggles to stay standing as more explosions rock it and it finally falls down the cliff, a loud explosion is heard indicating its destruction. Magnus turned to the rest of them "Crevice to the east. Let's go."

As they enter the crevice and the cave behind it they come across several dead troopers scattered about and Jamie faintly hears the rustling of wings above them as do the others "Buggers. Go quiet." Emile says as they creep forward, they don't make it very far however as dozens of drones drop from the ceiling shooting plasma at the spartans, springing into action Magnus and Jamie make quick work of the drones while Kat and Six drag Carter into a corner as Emile covers them, as they are dealing with the drones a group of skirmishers run in after hearing the sounds of battle and join the fray as well putting a bit more pressure on the spartans but they still make quick work of them. As the last drone hits the ground with a squeal, Jamie and Magnus check to make sure they're all dead before the go to the far side of the cavern and find the caves exit, motioning for the others to follow them Jamie and Magnus enter the passage passing another dead pair of troopers, one of which is holding a spartan laser which Jamie grabs and slings behind him while giving his rocket launcher to Magnus and they check their ammo as they wait for the others to catch up.

Once they catch up Jamie and Magnus lead the way through the passage an eventually reach the end where it opens up right outside of the SinoViet facility, with the grounded and scrapped UNSC frigate Commonwealth being an enormous battlefield between UNSC and Covenant troops down below. As they make their way down their radio lights up "This is Captain Keyes of the Pillar of Autumn. We are tracking you, Noble, but we've begun our launch sequence, proceed to dry dock, Platform D. I'll be on it myself to receive the Package." Captain Keyes says as several marines spot them "Spartans! Over here!" they yell as Magnus talks with Keyes "We'll be there, sir." "You'd better be, because my countdown has no abort.". As Keyes and Magnus hash out something on a private channel Jamie, Emile and Six restock on ammo as Kat gets a medic to work on Carter while they get ready to push through the covenant. Seeing a blob of elites runs over to Magnus and grabs his rocket launcher before jogging back to Jamie and firing at the elites, with a whoosh the rocket flys over and slams into the ground right at the feet of the elites sending them flying with no air break as they crash back onto the ground and the grunts that were around them start to flee in a panic as the marines surge forward and take them all out.

With combined fire from Spartans and marines it doesn't take long for the covenant at the front of the facility to fall and by the Magnus walks over now finished with whatever he and Keyes were talking about, "Got some good news, Keyes has been in contact with my ship and its still up in orbit and we have plenty of room to take all these marines and troopers with us." he said "And the bad news?" Jamie asked "We got two covenant battle cruisers, twice the amount as there are supposed to be coming this way." Magnus says as Kat the medic from earlier and another marine bring Carter over on a stretcher instead of dragging him with Six guarding them, Jamie watches them and knowing that he might not be able to save them all faces all the marines and Spartans, and as one they all move forward ready to destroy any covenant dumb enough to stand in their way.

As they rush forward they link up with another group of marines who are in cover while covenant take shots at them "Ah, Sierra, you made it!" one of the says noticing them "So far. TAC eval?" Jamie asks as he crouches next to him "They got this facility covered from all angles. We'll give you covering fire. Take the flank, there has to be a way around." he says as Jamie reaches for the Spartan Laser on his back "I got a better idea." he says as he aims at one of three shade turrets that are in place, pulling the trigger and watching the charge rise Jamie braces as the laser fires and blows the first turret sky high. As it goes up in flames several grunts nearby run around in panic as elites fire on his position as a ghost comes out from where it was hiding but before it can do anything a well placed rocket from Emile takes it out. Rallying the marines Emile and Magnus fire on the covenant and push forwards as Jamie take out the remaining two shade turrets before slinging his laser over his back and taking out his assault rifle and goes over the check on Carter and making sure he is stable he charges across and joins the others who have killed all the covenant outside the facility, as Jamie reaches them he hears Magnus giving commands "You four go back and help transport the wounded, you three are gonna bring up the rear and the rest of you are gonna be with me as we give covering fire for the three spartans." he says gesturing to Jamie,Emile and Six as the ones he pointed to earlier rush back to Carter.

With that they penetrate deeper into the facility, fighting past numerous covenant soldiers, along the way, they encounter a pair of marines "Spartans! Drydocks through that structure across the way. Punch through, we'll back you up." they say as Emile spots somethings "Watch that Phantom!" he shouts as they duck for cover as the phantom fires at them while a group of troops jump out are head towards them. They quickly deal with the reinforcements and continue outside, as they head down a walkway and arrive outside a warehouse guarded by skirmishers and a pair of hunters. Ducking behind a wall as plasma rounds and needles fly by them Jamie calls to the other spartans "I got two shots left in this laser, take out those skirmishers and get me an opening." Emile and Six nod before leaping from cover with Emile blasting a skirmisher in the chest as Six lobs a grenade and it lands behind one of the hunters, but it manages to raise its shield and tank the blow but it still give Jamie a shot to maneuver around a shipping container near the hunter and he is able to land a shot right below its armour on its unprotected flesh. With a roar the hunter falls with a gaping steaming hole in its torso as its partner charges Jamie with a snarl and swings its large shield at him, Jamie rolls to the side as it barely misses him and tosses his laser aside as it is useless this close. He dodges another earth shaking blow as it slams into the concrete leaving cracks as Emile appears behind it and slams his shoulder into its side, its does nothing but it gives them a chance to create some distance from the hunter as they plan their next move, seeing no other alternative that is quick Jamie turns to Emile "I'll be the bait you shoot at its back." he says as he unholsteres his assault rifle and charges didges a blast of plasma from the hunters fuel rod cannon and fires at the beast but it raises its shield and charges him blocking the bullets, as it reaches him and swings Jamie jumps back to not get hit and rolls to the side as the hunter swings its fuel ron cannon right over his head. Getting up he continues to fire and keep the hunters attention on him so that it doesn't notice Emile creeping up behind it.

With a bang Emile put two rounds into the back of the hunter staggering it giving Jamie time to create some more distance before he picked up a plasma grenade from a dead skirmisher before he primed it at threw it at the back of the hunter that had now turned to Emile, if it felt the grenade hit it, the hunter showed no reaction, but by the time the grenade went off in an explosion of blue plasma and fire it was to late as it was nothing more than a smoldering pile of orange flesh and skorched armour.

As they catch their breath and see that Magnus and the marines have caught up with them they press forward and enter the warehouse, where marines on the ground floor are exchanging fire with kig-yar infantry occupying the facility's upper level. As the Spartans approach a flight of stairs dodging plasma bolts and needles, a sword-wielding Elite Ultra charges at them. they jump to the sides as the Ultra swings at them and working together they eliminate it and run upstairs and kill the remaining covenant troops, before moving on along with a group of grunts who tried to reinforce before moving on.

As they go up another flight of stair they hear Captain Keyes on the radio again "Keyes to Noble Team. We're running out of time here, Spartans." "Solid copy, sir. We're close." Emile says as they run into another group of marines fighting a lance of grunts and jackals, wasting no time they slam into the covenant troops scattering them as they work with the marines to put them down before they check their ammo and reload, they consider for a moment waiting for Magnus and the other to catch up to them but he refused "I'm rounding up any strays I find just clear the landing pad I got some pelicans on the way to pick us up after you drop that package off, just get to the landing pad." he told them and so they went forward meeting another group of marine who they helped fight off a large group of jackals and grunts, once they were done with that the Spartans finally exit the warehouse and see the massive Pillar of Autumn in view, firing its 50mm autocannons at various covenant crafts in the area.

Seeing another group of marines setting up defenses they go over and Emile asks "What's the situation?" "We rigged the mass driver up top. We lose that, the Autumn will have no covering fire. She'll never make orbit." Emile nodded as Jamie spoke into his comm "Noble to Keyes: we're at the pad." "Copy, Noble. My Pelican's ready. Clear an LZ, and I'll meet you there." "Will do, sir. All right, Six... this is it. I'll man the big gun you just get to the platform and deliver that Package." Emile says before making his way towards the mass driver.

As Six starts to walk away Jamie stops him "Hey Six, I can't really explain why right now but keep an eye on Emile, I've got a bad feeling and we can't afford to lose any spartans when we're so close to the end, so just keep an eye out for him, me and the marines will run around keeping things under control until Keyes and Magnus's group reaches us." he says before running off and setting up defenses and stocking up on ammo.

"I'm in position! I'll take out as many dropships as I can." Emile says as he reaches the mass driver and Jamie watches as the massive barrel moves then blasts a phantom out of the sky, seeing more on the way Jamie hurries into position. The first phantom drops its troops, a squad of grunts and jackals with a pair of brute majors who waste no time storming towards Jamie, with a crack Six downs the brute on the left as Jamie tosses a grenade to scatter the grunts and jackals to give the marines and easier time as he jumps out of the way causing the brute to miss as Jamie slams the butt of his assault rifle into its unarmored side winding it, and ducks out of the way as its swings in retaliation, but before it cas press forward Six puts a bullet in its head and Jamie sprays the sides of grunts and jackals as another phantom plies over but gets shot down by Emile.

Reloading Jamie looks around and seeing a group of marines arrive he goes over and tells them to cover Six so he can keep sniping from up high. As they run over to Six another trio of phantoms flies overhead and Emile manages to take down two of them but the last of goes to the far side of the building and hovers above the ground letting the troops inside jump out. Jamie and the marines rushed over as a group of grunt,jackals and brutes are being led by a Brute Chieftain rush towards them. Jamie ducks into cover as spikes,plasma and needles fly by before jumping out a throwing a grenade into a blob of grunts before firing at the closest brute as the marines throw grenades as well causing mass confusion as covenant are thrown around by explosions and Six takes advantage of the chaos to take out several brutes and jackals who managed to reorient themselves enough to pick up their weapons.

As Jamie downed another brutes he turns to the brute chieftain that is still standing and opens up with his assault rifle making its shield flicker as it raises its fuel rod cannon ready to fire. Its shield flashed as Six shot two rounds into its head, but the shield held as the brute ducked and rolled despite its massive frame as Jamie and the marines backed up as more of Magnus' group arrived, "Go and cover the mass driver." Jamie told the new group of four that just joined them as the Brute Chieftain showed its head once more and Jamie had to jump to the side as a shot from its plasma cannon just missed him blowing a huge hole in the wall behind him as the marines ran off while the ones with Jamie tossed another round of grenades at the brute forcing it to dodge. As Jamie picked himself back up and reloaded he saw as Emile continued to blow phantoms and banshees out of the sky as the circled above but even as he shot them down another two managed to land, just then the chieftains shield collapsed under the combined fire of Jamie and the marines and with a crack,Six put a round in its skull before reloading and turning his attention to the fresh wave of grunts and jackals on the landing pad.

Even though the next wave only consisted of grunts and brutes, they still lost a pair of marines before the last brute fell, one had been hit with a spike rifle and the other unlucky marine had been stuck with a plasma grenade.

As they tended their wounds and moved the two bodies, Captain Magnus and the rest of the marines arrived with a group of medics tending to Carter with Kat right next to them as they arrived en mass. "Glad you could make it, sir." Jamie said as he walked up to the captain who now wielded a plasma rifle "Looks like I made it just in time." the captain said as Emile came over the radio "Noble to Keyes: pad is clear." "On my way." Keyes said as Six joined Jamie and Magnus at the landing pad stairs, "Six, time for you to leave. Get the Package to the pad...and get your ass off this planet. I've got your back." Emile said shooting down the last banshee that tried its luck for the last time, "Wrong Noble four, get down here on the double, I'm sending up some men who will cover the Autumn as she lifts off." Magnus says as he nods to a group of marines who head towards the mass driver as Emile climbs out of it.

 "This is Keyes, on hot approach to Platform Delta." Keyes says as they watch his pelican draw closer, along with three more to probably take the rest of the marines that Magnus brought Jamie thought as he watched the pelicans draw closer. 

As Captain Keyes pelican reached the landing pad it stopped and hovered a few feet above the ground as it turned around and lowered its bay door and the finally put a face to Keyes, "Good to see you, Spartans. Catherine assured me I could count on you." he said as Jamie and Magnus shared a look, before Jamie notices a phantom approaching from down below and runs over to a marine who has a sniper slung over their back "Can I borrow that?" he asks as the marine hands him the gun with a confused look on his face "Sure?" he says as Jamie walks back over to Magnus and fills him in on what's about to go down. As Jamie does all of this Emile reaches them and Six gives the package to Keyes and just as he is about to turn and re-enter the pelican the massive shadows of the covenant battle cruisers cover them all as they break through the clouds "Cruisers, adjusting heading for the Autumn,I need fire on those cruisers or we're not getting out of here! Do you copy?" "Yes sir!" comes a reply from the driver as the massive turret turns to aim at the covenant ships approaching, "Bridge, this is the Captain. We have the Package. Returning to the Autumn, over." Keyes says as he boards the pelican as the two the followed touch down and Magnus directs them while Keyes turns to them again "Noble Team you will go up with Autumn, but when we break orbit you will transfer over to the Everchanging before with go to slipspace, Noble Seven will stay aboard Autumn and assist with another task. Keyes says as Magnus walks back over and looks at Keyes mischievously "Catherine says 'hi'" he says as Keyes looks surprised.

Before he can respond however the pelican lurches as its hit by the turret of a phantom that Jamie spotted earlier as its flies over firing its main gun as the gunners on the side fire at the marines and the Spartans as they duck for cover before magnus yells at them to get onto the pelicans faster as they scramble back up. Both Jamie and Six keep their snipers trained on the phantom as it goes higher before dropping an Elite Zealot right on the mass driver. Taking aim they are about to fire on the elite that has its sword drawn and aimed at the driver cabin before its blown back as the glass shatters and a marine pops out wielding a shotgun, the elite tries to rise again but the marine puts another bast into its chest killing it, "COME ON SPLIT-LIP WHOS NEXT!" he yells as they notice another elite clamber down the driver sword drawn but before it could lunge its sword into his back its shield shattered and it staggered back as Jamie and Six pulled their triggers and put a two round in the elite head, seeing it wobble but still not fall Six pulled the trigger hitting in the head as Jamie shot where its heart should be, realizing the danger the marine turned around and seeing the dead Zealot put another shotgun blast into its chest just to be sure before turning and waving at them. As he climbed back into the mass driver and started to shoot down approaching phantoms, the surviving marines finished boarding the pelicans and took off as Jamie,Six,Emile and Captain Magnus jumped onto Keyes pelican as a pair of marine helped Kat with Carter and they lifted off and sped towards the Pillar of Autumn.

As they get closer to the Autumn,the covenant ships get closer as well "Cruisers, moving into position. I need it dead!" Keyes calls out as Magnus is talking into his mic most likely communicating with his ship. Turning the mass driver fires upon the ships but the shields are too strong for it to crack "Mass driver won't crack those shields! Steady, marine!" Keyes calls as they fall under the shadow of the Autumn. 

As the cruisers drew closer and closer Magnus suddenly yelled, "Hold onto something!!" before a massive BOOM ran out as one of the cruisers dropped sharply and before it could stabilize another two explosions impacted it and shook the pelican as the cruisers shield dropped and the top of the cruiser exploded as flames burst forth and its front raced towards the ground. As they watched with shocked expressions Captain Keyes turned to Magnus, "What the hell did you do?!" he asked as Magnus gave him a wry smile "I had my bridge crew turn the ship towards us and fire the MAC cannon. . ." he said scratching the back of his head as everyone in the hangar just looked at him as if he had grown another head. 

Before the could process that information though the cruiser that still remained in the sky above them begins to charge its ventral energy projector, dropping its ventral shield around the projector. Seeing an opportunity Keyes yells "Fire now! Hit her in the gut!" and with a BOOM the mass driver fires and the pelican reaches the Autumns hangar bay as the magnetic fields guiding the plasma destabilize, causing a massive explosion that rocks the ship as it starts spewing flames. 

As the marines manning the mass driver climbs down the ladder, they look up and see the Pillar of Autumn launching into the sky using R7 thrust couplings, with the Covenant cruiser crashing down in the background. The Pillar of Autumn pitches up and ejects its rocket pods as it flies toward space. "This is the Pillar of Autumn. We're away. And the Package is with us." Keyes says as he disembarks from the pelican and makes his way towards the bridge with Captain Magnus and Jamie right behind him as the rest of Noble Team heads to the medical bay to receive aid and await further orders.

Once they reach the bridge Captain Keyes slots the package into a podium near his view screen and Cortana's model pops up on a display just like in Halo:Combat Evolved. As Keyes and Cortana talk about something, Jamie and Magnus are talking as well, "What's your plan one we reach the installation?" Jamie asks as another ship will change how things shake out compared to the games "I plan to stay on the darkside of Thresholds moon and wait things out while providing support, Keyes will have Linda's cryotube put on my ship as well as Noble Team while you go with the Master Chief and deal with the flood." Magnus said with a shiver as even though reincarnating into their favorite video game was cool, the fact that they shared a galaxy with the flood and a freaking GRAVEMIND where not fun once they started to think about it and were actually very horrifying. Jamie nodded while screaming in his mind that he didn't want to fight the flood but knew that he had to if he was going to help the Chief.

Seeing they were done talking Jamie and Magnus walked over to Keyes and Cortana who got straight to business "When we make it out of the atmosphere we will move Spartan Linda and Noble Team aboard the Everchanging along with you Captain Magnus." Cortana said as Magnus nodded "My ship is ready, we'll give you the support we can." he said as Cortana turned to Jamie "I know about you and Magnus, Halsey told me that you want to help the Chief so I'll be glad to assist you and forgive you leaving my sister behind." she said as Jamie stiffened remembering how the Cortana prototype had stayed behind to cover for Spirit of Fire's retreat from the shield world, "Sorry about that. . ." he said after a moment as she just shrugged as one of Keyes bridge crew spoke up, "Sir, we've left the atmosphere and are ready to transport." he said as Magnus excused himself and headed back down to the hangar bay with Jamie right behind him.

As the reached the hangar Jamie saw Six and Emile moving Linda's cryopod into the back of a pelican as Kat and a pair of medics moved Carter in behind them, stopping next to Kat and helping Jamie asked "How's the commander?" "He'll live, gonna hurt when he wakes up though, how about you?" she said as they settled Carter down as she turned to face him "I'm not dead, but I won't be going with you to Everchanging, I'm to stay here and asist the Master Chief with what comes next." he said taking his helmet off as she did the same as they stared at each other. "ONI huh, guess you're just Spartan-118 again." she said as he snorted "Please, after what we all just went through, I'm Noble Team till the end, plus I owe ya'll a round of drinks eventually so you'd better stay out of trouble." he said with a small smirk as Emile and Six joined them near the pelican bay door.

Emile punched his arm as he laughed "You'd better not forget it either." he said as he stopped next to Jamie with Six next to Kat, "Keep them safe Six." Jamie said with a grin as he stepped out of the pelican bay as Six nodded "Stay safe." Kat said as she put her helmet back on, putting his on as well Jamie nodded "I will." as he headed for the cryo bay, and towards the Master Chief.

REACHS ORBIT-ABOARD CAS-ASSAULT CARRIER SEEKER OF TRUTH

As Thel'Vadamee sat down in the shipmaster seat he looked upon the burning human world with pleasure, each world burned was another merit to his name, "Shipmaster,there are two human ships leaving the planet." one of his bridge crew said "Follow them,let none survive." he commanded as the bridge door opened and an elite in Zealot armour approached, "Shipmaster,may I have a word." the Zealot asked as Thel stood up and faced him "You may, what do you need?" he said as he noticed the dent in the elites combat harness "One of the human ships fleeing the planet has a demon aboard, I request the Shipmaster give me the honor of striking down the demon." he said bowing his head as Thel though ' A demon?' when suddenly "Shipmaster, the human ships are entering slipspace!" "Follow them, do not let them escape!" Thel barked before turning back to the Zealot before him, "Yes, you may slay the demon aboard the human ship, but for now go and prepare for slipspace." he said as the elite nodded and rose "By your word Shipmaster." he said before leaving with a satisfied gleam in his eye 'I may not be human any longer, but I can still change the out come of things' he though knowing the events that would soon unfold on the Halo ring.
