Barbaric realms

Shai moved away from Hermes and jumped off the cloud, Shai grunted, landing in the gymnasium and falling,

"That didn't hurt as bad as I intended," Shai thought

"You were the one to open the book,"

Shai saw a shadow over her and looked up to see a hand held out for her, Athena stared down at Shai with a look she didn't know. Shai took her hand and got up. She felt that the gravity was lighter than the earth's.

"That was quite a landing there,"

Hermes stood next to her with curiosity lased in his eyes, Shai glanced between the two, Shai felt her anxiety spike as the two stared at her

"I wouldn't be worried, Shai,"

Zeus got off his cloud and walked towards them. He stopped next to her other side with Herman saying,

"You're worried about us?"

"The last time I saw you both wasn't the best," Shai muttered

"Shai, that doesn't matter now," Athena told her,

Athena looked at Zeus, who gave her a nod, she made her spear appear in one hand and her shield in the other, she looked over at Shai and stabbed the end of her spear in the dirt; Shai saw the ground under her shake with the cloud building around them, moved back.

"Your training will begin," Zeus told her,

The shaking stopped as the environment changed. The clouds were far off the ground under her stronger. She saw that both Hermes and Zeus moved away from her,

"Be careful, Shai," Zeus let out,

"Yeah, you might want to keep your eye on her... if you can," Hermes said

Athena stood close by with a stoic posture. Shai stared at her, feeling her heart beat out of her chest,

"Will I have a weapon?"

"We will see,"

Shai saw her for a moment, and then Athena was in front of her, holding her spear to lunge at her, Shai moved away but had the spear cut her side. Shai held her side, feeling the blood start to drip into her hand.

"Damn, that was too close,"

"You have to pay attention,"

Shai felt a gush of wind beside her, Shai quickly moved away from Athena who was standing where Shai was, Shai held her side and took her shirt ripping the bottom of it, wrapped it around the wound,

"Your senses are better than I thought," Athena muttered

Athena, in front of Shai with her spear, trusted towards Shai's head. Hermes noticed Shai was too slow to stop her and was about to stop her, but Zeus held him back,

"Have a bit more faith in her Hermes,"

"But she is..."

A large clash is heard, and they look over at her. They see that she has stopped Athena's spear with her hand. Shai looked up at Athena with passion. It's almost like a fire. Athena could almost grin at the passion in her stare,

"I will not let you kick my ass so easily, Athena,"

Shai pushed the spear away and pushed Athena back; Athena dug her feet into the ground and looked at Shai with a small smile. Athena went to look for Shai but didn't see her. Shai ran to her and punched her, feeling the burn on her hands, Athena held up her shield, and Shai landed the punch in the shield, causing a large bang. There was gold around them both before moving away from them, Zeus watched them intently while Hermes whistled,

"I didn't think that that would happen,"

Athena looked at Shai and saw that she had her hand on the shield, Shai stared back at her, moving back, and noticed that her hand was glowing gold in her veins, Shai ran at Athena twisting her body and trying to land a kick on Athena, Athena blocked it with her shield and the gold went around them again,

Shai grabbed the bottom of the shield and lifted it, Shai kicked Athena in the stomach. Athena grunted and took a step back, then ran forward with the shield,

"What happened to the spear?" Shai inquired

Shai moved to the side, having the shield close to hitting her. She kept her gaze on Athena, noticing she threw her shield at her, and Shai went up to grab it, but Athena was right next to her having her spear in hand, she thrust the spear at Shai only for it to be blocked by her shield,

"That was impressive," Athena praised

"I wouldn't say that...,"

Shai pushed her away and watched as she staggered, Shai ran and swung the shield at her. Shai flinched, feeling her hand burn, and wanted to look at it, but she needed to keep her gaze on Athena. Shai aimed for Athena's neck. However, Athena saw this coming and used her spear to stop the shield. She twisted the shield out of Shai's hold.

"That was resourceful, Shai, but you will need more than that,"

Athena swings her spear, and it is thrown out of her hand; Athena looks at Shai, stunned. Zeus smiled at the site, and Hermes let out, shocked,

"That's the weapon from the scroll!"

Shai looked up at Athena with a shine in her eyes; the weapon lay in her right hand. It glowed a white entwined with gold, Shai looked at it amazed. This is what the scroll showed, Shai stood up from crouching and aimed the gun at Athena, who ran at her with a shield and spear and grabbed them from the ground, Athena turned to Shai, and, her gaze glowed blue.

"So the real battle starts now?"

Shai tightened her grip on the weapon and took a good look at it. It had an ancient word placed on it with gold lines around it. Athena ran at Shai, aiming her spear for her side. Shai aimed her gun at Athena and shot at her, but nothing came out of it. Shai rolled away from Athena and stared at the gun, confused,

"What was that?"

The weapons glowed like it's understanding her. Before it glowed again... It shakes warning her. Shai moved to the left away from Athena, with her spear. The spear was in the ground where she once was,

Shai looked at the weapon and saw that it glowed again but as a signal. Shai heard Athena running at her, Shai turned and shot at Athena, the weapon shot something blue. Shai tried to get a better look and saw that it sent a wave of lightning toward Athena. Athena stared at the lighting, heading to her, and held her shield to protect her from it. It helped. But not much. Athena felt the shock of it go through her. It made her body quake. Athena fell onto her knee and looked at Shai. She looked at Athena before turning her gaze to the weapon in awe.

"You could have done that earlier,"

The weapon glowed back at her and shook, Shai huffed at it before turning back to Athena, Athena looked back at Zeus with a questionable stare,

"What now, Zeus?" Athena asked

Zeus looked at Shai and saw her already staring at him. He saw the uncertainty, but there was a passion in her eyes. The weapon glowed beside her. I'm trying to tell her something.

"Let's see what happens with a different opponent," Zeus thought

Zeus looked over at Hermes and saw that he was already starting at him,

"Let's see if she can best Athena. Before I fight her," Hermes insisted

Zeus hummed and agreed to his request, Shai waited for their answer, but the weapon in her hand glowed and shaked, again making her look at it,

"What are you glowing about now?"

It glowed again this time a light green, Shai heard Zeus yell out,

"Continue the battle,"

Shai turned to Athena with her gun pointed at the deity, Athena sprinted at her with a war cry and aimed her spear into Shai's stomach. Shai looked at Athena and shot her gun at her, landing where her feet would be, but she was aiming for her shoulder.

"What the hell?" Shai thought

When Athens ran to the ground where the bullet was, green glowing tree limps appeared, trapping her in them. Shai was still stunned but the gun glowed blue again, it shook and Shai glanced at it, she aimed the gun at Athena and was about to shoot the weapon but was stopped by Hermes, he grabbed the pistol,

"You don't have to finish it,"

Shai stared at him, confused before she could say anything. She kicked away from him, and Hermes walked over to Athena and pulled her out of the limps,

"Thank you, " Athena murmured

"Don't have to thank..."

Shai stood in front of them, kicking Hermes. He lands under the ledge where Zeus stands, Zeus looks down at Hermes with a grin,

"She brought that back to you, Hermes," Zeus said

"Apparently," Hermes muttered

Athena walked to Shai, staring at the weapon, Athena took her hand and looked over the weapon,

"It as the written in the scroll,"

The weapon glowed blue, Athena let go of Shai, and Zeus yelled out,

"You will have another opponent,"

Hermes flew over to Athena, grabbed her, and set her next to Zeus on the ledge; Athena looked at him and saw the look in his eyes. He's intrigued.

Hermes flew down in front of Shai. He looked at her with mischief.

"The next battle begins now,"
