"Alex, we have it ,"

They got the emp out from his office, and they rolled it over to him. It was locked until they had the signatures from the Congress and the president. Alex unlocked it, and at the emp, it changed, but it seems to be tapered.

"It's been tempered,"

He checked that it was still functioning, but they tried to break into it. Alex looked at them and asked them,

"Did anyone touch this?"

"No, it was locked in your office,"

Alex gaze went back to the electromagnetic pulse, it was fine and functional. It should be fine. Alex turned to them and said,

"Get this to the chamber,"

They took the emp out of his office to the Senate chamber, Alex stared at the door and went to his desk, Alex sat down looking over the papers that's littered over his desk, when he saw his papaer that he need to write.

"It won't be long,"

Alex thought when he began to write down what he's about to do.

"We've gotten the approval of the executive branch and the rest of the legislative branch. within the hour, it will go off. I hope it will work on Herman, I will see to it," 

Alex wrote his signature, moved the note, and got up. He looked over his desk, and he stared at a photo when he had a knock came on his door.

"Alex, you're needed in the chamber,"

Alex grabbed his bag, walked to the door, opened the door, answered,

"Hey Paul, did it get there safely?"

"It did,"

They walk down the hallway to the Senate chamber,

"You think it will work?"

Alex looked to him and let out,

"What else do we have?"

They hear the voices from the chamber raving back and forth,

"When will this be done?"

"You'r taking this it so lightly? You know this is dangerous,"

"It's dangerous. It is what we deal with every day. It will be solved, so why be here,"

"No, you're taking the situation we're in haphazardly. Take this with caution,"

They opened the door and walked in, the arguing stop and there gaze went to then, Alex scanned the chamber noticing that Lee is in her seat, Lee caught his gaze and waved geeting up, Alex looked in the middel of the room, they have set it up where i needed to be. Lee stood next to him, and he smiled, saying,

"They're arguing stopped,"

"It only took you two walking through the door," Lee said

Pual pats Alex on the bakc and said,

"Im going to help them see you on the floor,

He looked to Lee, "Nice to see you again, Lee,"

Paul walked past her, and she told him,

"Likewise,"

Lee turned back to Alex, he's staring around the room looking for someone,

"Have you seen Frankie or Judy?" Alex asked

"No, i haven't,"

They heard the murmuring around the room, they where shouting anymore that what mattered. They are some from the same political line talking, but there were a few that talked with each other. Lee noticed that Alex wasn't staring at her and said.

"They're talking to each other. It's odd but great," Lee said

"They are... It's nice to see it even under this circumstances,,"

Lee heard someone behind them and looked behind her, it's Paul with a serious expansion,

"It's ready,"

"Right, thanks, Paul," Alex said

Alex stepped to Paul when Frankie walked through the door with Judy behind her. Frankie smiled at them and gave them a warm welcome,

"Hello everyone, I sorry for the wait,"

She went to her chair, and Judy's gaze scanned the room until she saw Alex, Paul, and Lee, Judy walked over to them,

"Lee, Alex, Paul, how are we doing?" Judy asked

"It's well, the electronic pulse is ready," Paul told her

"Good,"

"How was talking with the Chairwoman?" Lee asked

"It's fine other than some odd questions,"

"Odd question?" Alex asked

"She asked what i thought about this problem where in,"

"That shouldn't be odd, its rational," Alex spoke

Judy looked confused, and he noticed,

"You're honest, Judy,"

"Sometimes to our best results," Lee said

Judy hummed hear the room with small chatting in the room. If she wasn't hearing it for herself, she wouldn't believe them.

"They're talking with each other," Judy muttered

Judy stared at the chamber, hopeful but something bothered her, Judy asked

"The artificial intelligence, have you heard anything else of him?"

They looked over the chamber with her when she asked. Their gaze went to Judy, and they had different reactions,

"No, not resently. Are you worried he might get in?" Lee asked

"John fainted before he can tell us what happened," Paul told her

Alexs eyes widden and inquired,

"That's what you worried about?"

Judy looked around to see if anyones listening to them, they weren't, and Judy told them,

"I went to the door this morning hearing him banging in the door, when i let him in he was shaken, his shirt had blood on it but he gave me the envelope after he told me that the artificial intelligence had gotten to them through there phones, "

She remembered the look John had as he described it to her, what she didn't hide how it affected her, Alex, Lee, and Paul noticed her exasperation.

"He killed them in front of John. The staffers ran to the white for cover while he ran here," Judy told them

They stared at her frightened and sadden. Lee felt disgusted. They all did, they're terrified at what she told them, but they had heard the similar from their line of work. Judy saw their expressions,

"That's all he told me. Is he still well?" Judy asked

"He is," Paul said

"Does Frankie know?" Alex asked

They look at her and see one of Frankie's staffers beside her whispering into her ear. By the look on her face, she knows,

"She knows now," Judy told them,

They didn't know that Frankie looked over the Senate and saw them talking, 

"Let's bring this to sensation, Alex!"

They turned to her, and Alex looked at the three around him, he nods at the three of them,

"I'm needed there,"

Alex smiled at Lee and Paul, but he looked at Judy, saying,

"I will see you there,"

He walked past them down to the middle of the chamber, Alex stopped in front of the electromagnetic pulse and pulled a note out from his bag. He read ot out for them,

"This will be the last for the artificial intelligence, out of this i hope we can see more eye to eye and take the people who made this in for questioning, to face what they have done,"

Alex glanced over them and then looked back at his note, he folds it and placed it in his jaket.

"We have been lied to and by that have the people been lied to, not by just us in the Senate but in the Congress and the presidential branches. We have had outside organizations infiltrate the branches, and it ends here. This is where we start standing for what we know is true."

Alex touched it turning the screen on, a logo appeared as it scans the building and expanded, it showed Virginia before it expands, Alex looekd at them again and saw some weary but there's a hope. That hasn't been seen since twenty, twenty four. Then again, that hope took longer than last time.

"It seems that spirit has found us again," Alex let out

A noise came from the electromagnetic pulse. Alex stared at it and saw a glowing blue glitching dot, it is near the building. His eyes widened as the dot changed.

"Do you think that would work?"

Herman stared coldly at Alex while walking around the building. Herman glared at him and scoffed,

"You're lucky I can't get in... Just like the White House,"

Alex touched the screen, preparing it, and glanced at Judy. She looked back, something is off. His eyes, he's frightened.

"Something wrong," Judy muttered

Paul and Lee heard her, and Lee turned to her,

"What do you mean?"

"Look at Alex,"

Alex fidgeting with it, looking around him until he noticed them talking. He mouthed something to them,

"I didn't get it," Lee said 

"No, but... "

Alex did it again, and Judy muttered under her breath,

"Herman,"

Judy glanced at them and said 

"Herman knows. Tell Frankie,"

Lee stared at Judy shocked, and Paul kept his gaze on Alex, Lee got up and went to Frankie, and Judy placed her hand on his shoulder,

"Im going to help him, stay back,"

Judy slowly walked to Alex, watching him talk with Herman,

"You aren't able to come in here. you're gone after this," Alex told him

"That's what you thought, you humans so sipmle minded. Did Judy say anything to you?" Herman questioned

Herman's gaze burned at him. He had something dark in him, nothing like the she wanted.

"She did, didn't she?"

"She didn't say anything,"

Judy is close to him hearing what they are saying,

"All you humans do is lie, dont you get tired of it,"

"Alex, set it off now!"

Frankie yelled. Alex was about to, but at another dot glitches onto the screen. Alex sets it off, sending the impact to Herman and the other dot.

"Your fools,"

Herman watched a wave of blue rush at him. He felt weak, but he glared at Alex.

"I thought that this might happen,"

The pulse got closer to him, only two feet away.

"I will finish my purpose in this life of mine,"

Herman stood as the pulse went through him. He felt how feeble it made him. He despised it. He felt his vision get blurred when the wave got past him, Herman saw his legs torn to his torso, his upper body glitching. He still lived.

"Do you see now!"

Herman looked at the screen where Alex watched him, but Judy stood beside him, her blue gaze glared at him, 

"I wonder if I can break through that screen finished what they started?"

Herman touched his leg, and he glitched again, he starts to mend together. He looked up at them, irritated.

"I will get out, "

"Well see," Judy told him

"I could crawl out of this screen and end you all," Herman seethed

Herman scanned over his body. It looked like nothing had happened to him.

"You don't have much time, do you?"

Herman raised his hand to the screen, making it glitch, Alex stepped away from it, but Judy stayed, waiting for what he would do, but light came from it,

Herman looked behind him at the bright light, a portal opening there,

"You can make a portal in here?" Shai mumbled

Shai stepped on the floor with a voice coming from behind her,

"It's at hand. Now it's time to see if you can take it."
