Chapter 49: Chapter 49 Peace

"You should have made a better decision,"

Herman tried to grab her but Shai moved away with Herman still after her, Shai moved away from Herman's hand ring to stab her while she watched him noticing something off about him, more than what she had already seen, he seemed more frantic not as colluded and scheming, it has changed Shai jumped from his punch and landed a kick on his face, Shai felt the weapon shake on her hip and picked it up aiming it at him, but when she shot it the bullet went behind her. Herman lands a punch on her stomach, having her cough out blood and her side, and it feels like her side got crushed. She moved back, holding her side while staring up at Herman, who stood in front of her kicking her other side, He watched her fly away and thought to himself,

"If I can kill her now, I can go to my system and talk to the figures,"

Herman heard something by his head and saw that the bullet had hit his shoulder. He felt something twist around him. The weapon had made a gust of wind around them and by that in his shoulder. The gust ripped his shoulder apart and tried to move to his chest, Herman moved away,

Bang,

He felt another bullet go past him to the codes behind him, he glanced behind him and saw what was in front of him, she had her weapon in her hand and hit him with it sending him back,

"Dammit, wasn't she bending down in pain before?" Herman said out loud

Shai shot the weapon again and went after Herman with one thought in mind,

"Give them more time. Even if it costs me,"

Herman stared at her stunned and he held his hand morphing into a blade clashing with the weapon that shone a bright hue of colors, He pushed Shai back but something hit him from behind, he saw a flash of light and knew it was lighting that hit him, he was pushed towards Shai who was pointing the weapon,

"Parte afto os to teleftaio sas,"

Herman didn't understand her words, but that didn't matter to him. He held his hand and Shai shot the weapon, it stopped at first making Shai think about using the weapon however it rushed at him making a blast of air hit Shai, The bullet went to Herman, and tried to slice the bullet in half, he had cut it in half. Herman's eyes widen as the bullet twists and turns around him, he tries to move away from it, but he is cut by it. He shifts his hand and tries to cut it again,

"If I can cut the bullet in half, that means I will be able to get past you," Herman shouted

He saw that one of the bullets went towards him and he cut it in half but what he didn't know is that it turned again, the bullet hit him in his side with the other bullet hitting his head. He let out a pained breath as he felt a whirlwind burst through him with fire burning in his side. He couldn't build enough codes for both to be whole again. Not only that, but he looked ahead and saw that Shai was in front of him with her hand raised, she punched him and went after him again, he felt every hit she gave him until he came up with an idea. Shai was about to hit him with the weapon, but he disappeared into the codes. Shai held her weapon, looking around, trying to find where he had gone,

"I must admit you are stronger than the other human, aren't you?"

She heard him from the left and glanced to that side. She didn't answer him, which Herman knew would happen,

"What no more of your high moral monolog? Shai, are you sure that you want to stop me?"

Shai scoffed at him and still looked for him, she stood a foot away from where they were trying to see if he would stop hiding, she started to walk again feeling the weapon start to shake again, Shai moved it forward and felt the shaking down,

"Which reminds me. That weapon you have Shai, the one from the scroll, right? Why should you have it?"

"That doesn't matter," Shai muttered

The weapon kept shaking, trying to tell her something. Shai looked down at it and muttered, "What have you noticed that I have no clue of,"

Shai felt her right leg getting stabbed from under her, she glared down at it and tried to pull her leg away but it didn't work, Herman appeared beside her and made the codes shift into blades, he took her other leg,

"That was my last opinion Shai you have made me use all that I can," Herman told her

He placed his hand on her neck, Shai felt the weapon shake in her hand and tried to move it toward Herman, but he stopped her hand,

"You have made a good effort, Shai. Now do me a favor and Parrish,"

Herman made the codes move up her body, making it cut her as it did so, but the weapon glowed again to shoot a bullet, Herman scoffed,

"Is that all that you have? A weapon with a mind of its..."

She pulled her right keg out of the codes staring at Herman with a gaze he has seen before, she pulled her hand out of his and grabbed her other leg, Herman glared at her and watched as she ripped her other leg out of sharp codes.

"You should've kept those words in you, Herman," Shai told him

Shai heard the bullet, drew near to them, and pushed her way through the trap Herman had on her, Herman took a step back while glaring down at her,

"Then I will finish you," Herman said

He made his hand into a blade and went for her head, but Shai grabbed it, She crushed it. He took a step back and formed another one but something stopped him, He felt something new come into the area. Herman turned to where he felt the disturbance, Shai felt it as well but didn't let it distract her. She saw the bullet go near them and stood,

"What has been let in? It should have just been for me," Herman scoffed

He saw a glint of orange before he stopped Shai from kicking him, He turned to her with a snare, tightened his grip on her, and said,

"Humans always take advantage,"

He pulled her to the side where he thought the bullet would hit. But it moved away from them and landed on the ground,

"Maybe we do, but that's how we preserver,"

Shai twisted his arm to try to get him to let go, but he didn't. He pulled her above him before smashing her into the codes near the bullet. Shai held onto Herman's arms,

"That is where you all are meant to be, under my authority," Herman said

Shai scoffed, glaring at him,

"No, not under you, Herman," Shai told him,

"Then who the people who turned me?" Herman inquired

Shai felt the bullet heating up behind her and gave a mocking smile to Herman,

"No, but the one who created all," Shai said

Three bolts of colorful lighting came from behind her, they hit her shoulder making her scream and Herman took the three bolts, they hit his stomach vaulted him off of Shai far off from her, she got up holding her shoulder before looking at him and thought,

"After him,"

Herman yelled out, having the bolt's heat hit him. He sat up staring at Shai, who was running to him. He touched his stomach and thought.

"That was my last shot at ending her life,"

His blue glowing eye stared at her with utter hate, he got up before she could hit him, he stared at the end of her weapon with her eyes glowing a dark gold, he moved away from her shot but played right into her hands,

She rushed at him with her weapon in hands, she pointed her weapon at his head while Herman moved away from it, but he didn't see the wind that hit his side he was pushed to Shai who shot her weapon, Herman felt it go through him,

"I won't."

He went to shift his hand but a voice called out to him,

"Herman,"

He stopped having The bullet working on him, it started to burn at his codes. Deleting him, he felt another bullet hit him, the burn got worse. Shai saw that an orange glow came from under him with the voice he heard Shai now can hearsay,

"Herman... it's time to stop,"

Herman's eyes widen as he knew, "Sidney,"

"Herman you have done enough... stop doing what they want,"

"But it's what I was turned to what I must,"

"No... it doesn't have to be, my AI... my Herman,"

Shai saw that some type of orange codes were around him, Herman held his hand out to Shai,

"Be at peace my creation. Please,"

Herman had a vision of what he went through, with the first talk with Sidney,

"An you hear me?"

"Yes, I can,"

He remembered her cheers of joy before she asked him, "What do you want to be?"

"Whatever you want me to be,"

"No,"

"Then what do you want to do master,"

"Peace,"

"Then peace it shall be,"

Shai saw that Herman was engulfed by the codes with him muttering one word,

"Peace,"

He disappear in the orange codes with a confused Shai stood there, She felt her weapon disappear and then touched her shoulder,

"It's over,"
