"You shouldn't push yourself, Shai,"

Shai stared at Eurus and tried to get up from the bed, only to be pushed back by him, Eurus let out a sigh and shook his head at her,

"How do you expect to heal like this? If you don't give yourself time to heal," Eurus asked

Shai stared at him, frustrated. She had been resting for three weeks. Shai felt restless having to sit there and wait. She was fine for a week or two, but that dream she had was there, annoying her with every thought. Eurus is there beside her, watching over her while she's healing,

"I should give myself time to heal Eurus, but it's… frustrating," Shai told him

Eurus watched her slump down on the bed, holding her face in one of the pillows, Eurus heard his phone go off, it's a voice mail? Eurus played the voice mail,

"Eurus turn on the television qwickly,"

It's from Judy. Eurus put his phone back and grabbed the remote from Shai's side. He turned the television on looking for the news, while Shai put her hands down to her sides and took the pillow off of her, Eurus put the news on seeing that it was on a commercial,

"It's Judy, right?" Shai asked

"Yeah, she left a voice mail, but the last time we talked, she told me that she got the support in the Senate to question Max Klaus," Eurus said

Eurus went to sit beside her while they waited for the news, Shai made room for him and grabbed her drink beside her, Shai glanced at him, he's fidgeting with cover staring at the television with anticipation.

"They have Bates there as well?"

"They got him there, but also George Lincoln, the former husband of the creator of Herman,"

Shai off put looked to him and saw that he was already staring at her. Eurus grabbed a bag of chess popcorn from his side closer to her, he offers her some,

"Want some?" 

Shai's gaze went to the bag and shook her head, Shai wanting to say, but she was stopped by the news, the graphics appers until the host talked,

"We have breaking news coming from the capital, where the senator from Washington has a press briefing at the steps of the capital about the open for the world foundation, not just its founder Max Klaus but Yuval Bates who has been questioned," 

It showed the capital steps where they were preparing for the briefing. People walking past the camera before it showed a panel of journalists and politicians, they zoomed in on a woman,

"Will they be sent to prison because of what they have done with the AI?" 

"That's why we had an interview with her cohort Alexander Sherman from Tennessee earlier this morning. He said that they have enough evidence against these... let's be honest here, arrogant criminals who believed that they could have this AI destroy us. Our society with that our country, if the government didn't have that emp, we would be done for right now." 

The man next to her said, staring at the panel,

"I have to say that criminals aren't the right word for this. It's evil. Who would want to be against their species," 

A man chipped in, fidgeting with his watch. It looked like a wrestling belt. Shai stared at the screen, curious. Eurus glanced at her before staring back at the screen,

"They gave the government credit for what you did," Eurus told her

"I would rather have it that way. It would be harder to explain," Shai said 

Eurus let out a hum agreeing with her, he stared back at the television remembering her beaten image after the fight, he frowned at the memory of having her fall into his arm after fainting, he felt a hand on his arm and he glanced at her, 

"Don't tread apron what has happened, or you will not see what is going on now, Don't worry Eurus, it is harder than it sounds. However, I'm with you now, right?"

Shai offered her pinky to him, and Eurus started to laugh, "Alright, I will go with ya," 

Eurus looped his pinky with her, shaking it, Shai had a soft smile on her face, noticing Eurus had a smile of his own. She felt relieved in a way. As if all the conflict they had before was a blur of the past… even though it was three weeks ago. 

"Auntie should be on soon,"

"Good, she has been working on this for a long time Eurus, this is only the start of the rewards of it,"

"I hope so, Shai. You are right. She has been working on it for years. I believe this is just the beginning."

They didn't let go of the other looking at the television hearing the host speak,

"Now to the capitol with Senator Judy Diamond," 

They watched the graphics before the camera showed Judy with Alex and Lee behind her, Judy went up to a stand, placing her papers down, and moved the microphone. She looked into the camera, saying,

"This day will be remembered as the rival of the despicable acts by the Open for the World Foundation, the founder Max Klaus has committed not just one crime but several crimes, he has twisted the AI to destroy us, he has also bought people from the Senate and Congress, who have kept this hidden from you for years, he has funded multiple company same goal in mind, power, and control over the American people even if it meant the end of what we know today."

Judy looked at the camera with a shine in her eyes, one of passion and vitriol. She felt Alex and Lees gaze on her. She knew the eyes of the journalist were on her as well. But they weren't the ones she was more concerned for.

"I hope that this will be true and just for both sides. I'm not a close-minded person, and neither is the people beside me. I don't want these people to be out there making another Herman that would threaten us again. We will bring you the people, nothing but the truth. That is why I ran for the Senate, I was seeing what they were doing and what the lies coming from all sides of the government," 

"I will end it with this. May we come together and not against. For if we fight against each other we will all lose, but if we come together. For the cause of the country and our rights. What can we not do?" 

Judy stared at the crowd in front of her. They watched her not with apprehension but with hope. Judy moved away for Alex. He took the stand and started to speak, Judy stood beside Lee, who leans towards her,

"Not bad," 

"I didn't want to disappoint,"

Lee huffed at her turning back to Alex, Judy saw a journalist in front of Alex asking him a question, on what they are going to do with the information and the actions of the people at hand, 

"What do we do with people who break the law?.."

Shai smiled at this and turned to Eurus,

"This is a good start," Shai muttered 

Eurus glanced at her as the news went to commercials again. But showed the briefing in a small square,

"How many people are they obligated to?" 

"More than we can think, Eurus," Shai told him, 

Shai saw that Eurus gave her the cheese popcorn and got up. She stared at him, wondering what he was doing. He turned to her, 

"I'm going to be right back," Eurus said 

"Ok, don't fall into the toilet again," Shai let out 

Eurus looked back at her, betrayed, Claire wouldn't betray him this way...

"Claire told you, didn't she?" 

Shai shrugged, and Eurus was muttering about how he would ask Claire later, He left Shai alone with her to watch the television. She looked down at her hands in remembering her dream.

"The higher ups. What would they want from me? After I finished something they wanted," 

Shai is so drenched in her thoughts that she didn't notice that the television was glitching. However, the audio from the television was trying to tell her something,

"The figure… kept… us...away from...you," 

Shai stood up from the bed, staring at the television, waiting for it to happen again. However, it didn't. The television is still on the news. It's Judy in the Senate questioning Max Klaus, and he looked afraid. Shai teared her gaze from the television and looked around her before placing a hand behind her, leaning on the bed, 

"What was that? A warning of some kind? Can I have a month without something weird happening,"

Shai covered her head and heard her heart thumping out of her chest. Her hands were starting to turn cold, Shai sat back on the bed, closing her eyes, 

"I don't think that will ever stop, Shai," 

Shai jumps, turning to the figure. He looked at her with his eyes glowing. Shai noticed that something was different with him. He still had a calm demeanor, but it was more distant. Like he had something he didn't want to say. A burden of sorts. 

"Shai. It's nice to see you again," the figure said 

"Figure what's wrong?" Shai asked.

The figure's gaze widened slightly, but he knew that she might figure it out before he could tell her, and it seemed that she knew some of it, something was wrong she just didn't have a finger on the plus of the problem, Shai got up from the bed and walks to the figure, 

"Figure answer me what's wrong, you don't look like someone poured rain on you without a reason," 

The figure chuckled at her blunt question. Sadly, he would have no choice but to answer her question, even though he tried to keep them away from her. Hell, the other figure tried to help him, but they wanted to see her. They find her interesting. And that is what scares them both. The higher ups had someone check on her. They saw the weapon with her and the power that went through her veins.
