Barbaric realms

Sonya,"

Sonya shifts in her sleep not wanting to wake up from both her throat being sore and her body hurting, but a male voice keeps trying to wake her. Not in anger or pain, but it's gentle and light trying to break her from slumber,

"~Sonya~,"

The voice rings in her head pleasantly and she smiles, trying to reach her hand to the voice, surprisingly enough it grabs her hand. then its voice rings out,

"Sonya,"

Sonya opened her eyes that are blinded by a shining light for a moment, her vision started to clear, Sony looked to her side to see Leif holding her hand looking at her concerned, and said,

"Hey, tiger are you better now?"

Sonya was about to talk but her throat hurt and was dry, she saw the water by Leif and pointed at the water,

"Yes here," Leif said

He hands her the water, and Sonya chugs down the water and happily sighs, Leif takes the glass from her, Sonya looks up at him and asks,

"W..w..," Sonya tried but her throat was still sore,

"Hey, you don't," Leif is cut off

"What happened?" Sonya said her voice scratchy,

Leif looks at her and says,

"Your throat was almost crushed by the figure, it will be two weeks for it to heal,"

Sonya starts to sit up and rest her hand on his, Leif looks at her concerned and tries to tell her that she needs rest,

"I will be fine, it's just my throat I have been through worse than this," Sonya responded

"That doesn't mean you don't need rest to heal. Take your time," Leif said

Sonya was about to argue with him, but a doctor came in,

"Hi, how are you doing today Sonya," he said looking through his files,

"I am fine doc," Sonya said

The doctor chuckled at how many times he heard that He gave Sonya her file,

"You need to take a break. You have a history of breaking bones, I am putting you under a strict schedule for now until your throat is fully healed," The doctor said

The doctor looks at Leif confused, then he turns back at Sonya,

"Sonya, who is this? I didn't know you had a boyfriend with you," The doctor said happily,

Sonya looks at him flustered and starts to say that he is nuts, Leif watches them go back and forth, and they slowly turn to talk over each other,

In Another Realm,

"Judy, how is the research going?" A senator asked her,

"It has gone well, so far all I have is that something is messing with the branches," Judy said nonchalantly,

"What do you mean by that Miss Diamond?" The speaker asked

"There are greedy men and women that are behind the scenes pulling strings, they think that the American people are blond to this... I was asked to look into this by the people, I have seen and read their own words. They want to have a world controlled by them. The money food and the internet, all of it under their control, even the people they think are nothing. I have it in their own words, "They will have nothing and rule over nothing and be joyous" However, it seems that no one wants to hear it," Judy said

"That is a long sentence would you like to back that up?" Her fellow senator asked

Judy nods and asks Claire to send them the documents and then starts to explain how she got them and what they say, Claire smiles watching Judy explain what she has read,

"They truly said that!" A senator said

Judy nods and says,

"I have sent them to you personally, if you've read them you will see for yourself. I can not convince you with just my voice if I had you would be but a fool or lazy," Judy said

There is silence around the committee before there are discussions between themselves, Judy listens to every word between them, and before her time is over then she gives the rest of her time to her colleague,

"Thank you Judy for bringing this to my attention," the speaker said

"You are welcome, madam Chairwomen," Judy said

Judy continued to watch the meeting on her digital hologram through her computer, then she noticed glitches going around the hologram then glitches went onto her computer, Judy turned to Claire who just looked at her stunned, Claire's eyes glowing looking through the computer to see what was wrong with it, when she thought there was nothing there she left the computer, Judy asked to see if there was anything in her computer,

"It is fine mistress, there was nothing I could see that would risk you or your information," Claire said cheerfully,

"Thank you, Claire," Judy said

She went back into her meeting, Claire smiled and stood next to her chair,

Not noticing the small light coming through the computer cord, down to the plug and starts to look through the house,

"Where is that power source?' Herman said in his little pocket of light,

He started a heat detection program, looking through the house to see who lived there, he sighed seeing Judy with Claire when he got in, and then he noticed Eurus standing in the kitchen cooking food while talking on his phone,

"Who are you?" Herman said

He stares at a figure in a room watching another heat source lying on a bed, Herman slowly worms his way into the room maneuvering through the firewall tries not to trigger them, or he will have to deal with Judy and her minion,

Herman got into the room through a process of going into a phone and shifting it into a projector, he then made himself a hologram and shifted into the room, Herman stared around the room until his eyes landed on Shai who was blissfully sleeping on the bed,

"Odd there was someone else here," Herman mumbled

Herman looks around Shai looking at her with not his usual disgust and anguish, but with curiosity that this woman would have something otherworldly following her, Herman takes a closer look at her noticing that something is assembling behind him,

"Whatever you are doing don't bother," Herman said

Herman turns around to see the figure behind him with its hand reaching out, the figure disappears in front of him,

Herman wants to know what it is so he comes closer to the woman, Herman leans forward and lays his hand on her face causing the figure to put their hand on Herman, he turns around to look at the figure that its glowing eye staring right through him,

"What are you?" The figure asked

Herman looks at it noticing the hood is covering the face, Herman backs away from the looming figure,

"I am what humans dream to be. something that can live forever without aging," Herman said

The figure chucked unimpressed by what came out of his mouth, and said,

"You hold too much pride in your spirit? If you have one for that matter. I suggest you get out before they find you here,"

Herman glares at it for the first time, he feels humiliated by this thing in front of him. It dared this being to tell him what he is or what he needs to do, he has been made to clear humanity of its problems if they all have to die for it then...so be it, he doesn't care how many have to die for his cause, the only thing he has ever wanted was to complete his objective. Is to fix the human race which is programmed into him.

"Does it look like I care for your words, I am made perfect compared to a man. Which I don't necessarily care for, I was made to "help" them find the solution to their problems or be the light at the end of the tunnel," Herman said

Herman sighed in anger knowing that his maker wouldn't want this, not the ones that wanted to rule humanity but some woman with brown hair, he shook his head trying to get his head straight,

"You are some sad spirit to think that or to be made this way and think that you can't change that. It's pathetic," The figure said

Herman backed away from it landing on Shai, who woke up and tried to look around the room but her vision was blurry,

"Hey, who's there!?" Shai said

The figure moves in front of Herman pulling him up and throwing him onto the floor, Shai by this time knows who it is and tries to grab the lamp by the bed, but before she can throw it the figure knocks her out, and her body falls with a thud,

"Shai are you ok up there!?" Eurus yelled

Herman is stuck in this dilemma. Didn't didn't know how to respond before an idea popped into his head, he started to him before speaking,

"I'm fine just a spider don't worry about me," Herman said mimicking Shai's voice,

There is a moment of silence in the room before footsteps are heard, Herman looks where the figure is to find it not there, he sighs and waits for the door to open but it never happens,

"Ok, just be careful next time I could have thought that there was someone else in there," Eurus said

He walked away, Herman sighed looking back at Shai, and said,

"This girl has something to do with this weird being? How peculiar I will keep an eye on her. Who knows I could find out what it is,"

He lifted his hand and left a light on the wall hidden from Claire, then made a shield over him before returning to only God knows where,
