Because that's what heroes do

Standing at the top floors of the UA Academy, I look down at people rushing inside for the start of the entrance exam, after a month of training with Nezu I looked even more different than I was before, I had grown up to 6 foot, built like a greek hero of the old tales, my hair has grown to an almost uncontrollable point, the azure tracksuit I had gotten used to constantly putting my body pressure in hope of letting me gain that last str point to reach the 50 mark, but I know it wouldn't be so easy, I'd have something that pushed me past the normal standards, as I had done for willpower.

" Are you listening?" Nezu asked after pulling on a strand of my hair, causing only annoyance and no pain.

" Sorry, I wasn't." Sometimes I enter my Focus state without even noticing, now that the skill had reached the halfway mark it was getting easier and easier to enter it and harder to get out of it.

" As I was saying, your presence inside the test is merely for the safety of the students, we already are aware of your capabilities and your intelligence so you don't have to worry, what we are worried about is the presence of some... interesting characters in this exam that might lead to other people getting injured, and there also are students that think of their quirk as a very strong one, but during fights they might get frozen up and get injured."

" I already told you several times that your exam is flawed, there are people with quirks that could be very helpful in dangerous situations but they aren't good in a fight, for example, the kid you showed me with the brainwashing quirk if I hadn't pressed you on how that quirk is necessary in hostage situation he might have never been accepted into 1-A" I said to Nezu while grabbing him from his sides and putting him in front of me.

" Yes yes, I still remember your 14-hour lecture on how every quirk that is related to mind is useful if used correctly, you are the first human being that lectured me on something you know? But this we have already given a different test to whoever had quirks that don't fit the standard so don't worry."

*Sigh " Just tell me you didn't put an over-the-top robot that would require All Might level strength to defeat."

" All Might? No, Endeavour though."

" NEZU." 

He escaped from my grasp and used one of his hidden doors to escape my lecture on how everyone would get scared if a fucking 50 meters were to appear out of nowhere.

Wearing my modified graphite gauntlets and new rubber boots that boosted my jumping capabilities and reduced shock damage, I waited for the other contestants to enter the area I was assigned to, my azure tracksuit replaced by baggy white pants and a black fit shirt.

' I seriously have to do something about these hairs.' I thought while making a temporary ponytail to not let them get in front of me during a fight.

A few seconds later people started arriving, and my presence brought them questions, but they just whispered and no one dared to approach me, or so I thought.

" Are those muscles just for show?" A feminine voice asked while I was checking the charge on my gauntlets.

Looking up I saw a girl with pink skin, pink hair, and yellow antennas, wearing a black tank top and pink trousers, her eyes looking me up and down while her finger remained on her lips, a mischievous smile on her face seemed to fit perfectly.

After a month of daily meetings with Midnight I had gotten used to way more advanced seduction techniques, so I just smiled at the attempt and ignored it, continuing with my checkups.

She seemed annoyed when I ignored her but didn't move away and instead started teaching way too close to me.

Around a minute later everyone had gotten inside and was waiting for the start of the exam, which arrived sooner than they expected.

"START," Mic shouted from the booth area.

Some people immediately began rushing in, while others looked at each other confused.

" This is a representation of a real battle, real battles don't have countdowns."

Everyone began rushing in, trying to recuperate the seconds they had lost, the girl gave me one last glance wondering why I hadn't moved, and rushed inside.

Making an earphone appear I place it against my ear.

" Anyone needs for help?"

" 10 meters and then go left, someone has already caused enough destruction to cause kids to be under debris."

Sighing I feel the muscles in my leg tense and like the well-oiled machine I had made my body to be, I rush forward, evading any student slow enough to still be near the entrance, and reach the area where a kid was crying while another was trying to calm them down while failing to remove debris.

Reaching the area I moved the panicking student away and removed the safe debris to let the crying get out.

" You have a dislocated leg, try not to move, your exam result will take count of this incident don't worry," I said while showing a bright smile, the crying boy calming down and only now realizing the state his leg was in, he was about to start crying again but this time he seemed able to keep it in.

I turned towards the boy who had caused the damage, his face showed panic and fear, he knew what he had done wrong, and his eyes were becoming watery.

" Don't worry, this was an accident, your points will take count of this, but this just means you have to push yourself even more to get into UA, after all, you have to go PLUS ULTRA," I said while smiling and patting his shoulder.

He took a big breath and nodded, his eyes now filled with determination to do better.

The kid who had caused the damage goes to the other one and helps him up, helping him move away towards the other bots and helping him fight.

" Any other incidents?"

" 30 meters to your left."

'This will be one long exam."
