Michael accompanied March 7th, Stelle, and Dan Heng onto the Astral Express. It went without saying that the grand train was much more majestic in person than it was in the game, even though he had expected for it before. As he stepped inside, Michael couldn't help but sigh slightly in admiration.

Himeko: "So, what do you think? Impressed?"

Michael belatedly noticed Himeko's arrival, who had a warm and welcoming smile on her face.

"More than impressed, I'm amazed."

Himeko: "That's good to know, but you'll get used to the view as time goes. Anyway, welcome to the Astral Express, I guess you're a Nameless now too?"

Himeko extended her hand to Michael, who returned the greeting politely.

"Honestly, I didn't expect you guys to invite me to the Astral Express."

That part was true, Michael even thought deep down that he would have to use some unorthodox methods to board in the train. Fortunately, it all turned out easier than he had planned.

"March 7th insisted for quite some time that we invite you aboard. Aside from Pom-Pom, no one was particularly against the idea, so we took a vote and ended up deciding to extend the invitation to you." As Michael was talking to Himeko, a male voice interrupted them at an opportune moment. Turning to see who was coming, Michael saw Welt Yang.

Welt was a tall man with matching brown hair and eyes, and a small white streak on his head. He wore a gray-white coat with a scarf and a piece of black armor on his chest. A pair of dark-rimmed glasses hung on his nose, giving him an intellectual and mature appearance along with his elegantly decorated cane.

Anyone who saw him would not have the impression that he was old enough to be someone's grandfather.

Welt: "We haven't had a chance to meet before, so let me introduce myself. It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Welt Yang."

Even his casual words suggested a hint of veiled elegance; Michael might have shouted "Elegance!" upon seeing him if he hadn't controlled his impulses.

Michael revealed a hint of familiarity in his expression, as if he had met Welt before. However, he quickly hid any sign of this with a shallow smile.

Of course, this was intentional. Although his acting skills were not great, it was not difficult for Michael to convey familiarity with Welt, whom he had in fact already known from the game, and then detachment, something that did not require very high acting skills.

As expected, his slight change in expression, although brief, was caught by Welt's discerning eyes in a second.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Mr. Welt. I believe you already know my name, but I'm Michael. Please take care of me from now on."

Welt: "Mr. Michael... Have we met before, by any chance?"

"... No, I don't think so, at least."

Michael replied with an indifferent expression. This was part of his plan; before anything else, he had to make Welt conclude for himself that Michael probably came from the same "place" as he did for himself.

Intelligent people only believed their own judgment, Welt should be no exception.

Fortunately, Himeko interrupted the two's little exchange of words, or the atmosphere might have become a little awkward. If Welt started interrogating him, Michael might be in trouble as well, though he believed he wouldn't do that… for now.

Himeko: "March will show you around. We've also already arranged a room for you, if you have anything to bring, you'd better go get it."

"Okay, thanks."

'I only had the clothes on my body to bring, tho... And even that was ruined now!'

In fact, poverty is a man's sorrow.

March 7th: "Come, Michael! I'll show you your room first."

March nodded to Michael, who nodded. He then said goodbye to Himeko and Welt, leaving along with March 7th. Even as he walked away, he could feel Welt's gaze on his back.

It was a little chilling to be faced by someone who could create an artificial black hole at any moment.

As he walked down the Passenger Cabin with March, Michael turned and asked.

"Why are you following us...?"

Stelle: "What? I can't?"

"... You can, do whatever you want."

Michael shrugged, not really caring. After crossing a flight of stairs and passing what looked like a Party's Car, March stopped in front of a side door and opened it with a touch.

March 7th: "This used to be a storage room, so it might be a bit dusty and messy. Himeko said to clean it out and throw away anything that won't be useful anymore. Then we can fill it with your things."

Michael looked into the room, and Stelle peered over his shoulder curiously.

It was indeed dusty, Michael nearly sneezed when the door opened. There were all sorts of boxes, shelves, and things he wasn't sure what was scattered around.

He could even see a Snowmobile leaning against the corner, its front end broken. After looking around for a few seconds, Michael noticed a chest next to the door that, unlike the rest, was brand new. He pointed to it and asked, "What about this?"

March 7th: "Ah! I almost forgot. If I'm not mistaken, the day after you passed out, Asta brought this chest and asked us to keep it for you. She said it was something you had asked her for."

Something I asked for? Michael thought for a moment and remembered that Asta had indeed promised to help him get the Stellar Jades that the Station had stored in its Armazenament Zones.

'Then this can only be...'

Michael knelt down beside the chest and carefully opened it. As soon as the lid lifted, a golden glow immediately lit up the entire room, with a dazzling pile of Stellar Jades covering the chest to the board.

Stelle: "Oh...!"

At some point, Stelle had moved to Michael's side, her eyes fixed on the shiny things. Her hand slowly moved to try to grab a Stellar Jade, but Michael knocked it away.

"That's mine!"

Stelle: "I just wanted to touch it..."

Stella puffed out his cheeks, but Michael was unmoved.

'I am you, you are me, how could I not know about your fixation on these shiny little things? I fear that if I expose this in the Express, you will eventually make it disappear only to I find it in a trashcan.'

Michael ignored Stelle's stare and tried to estimate how many Stellar Jades were inside the chest, but eventually gave up. Instead, he noticed a small black card in the corner of the chest, when he picked it up, March 7th who was beside him gasped in surprise.

March 7th: "A black credit card! Asta is really generous to you!"

March's look of surprise eventually turned into a hint of envy. From her tone, Michael could guess that the card probably amounted to a lot, a lot of money.

Remembering how rich Asta's family was in the game, Michael realized that he had suddenly gained a Sugar Mommy.

He was feeling spoiled.

"Don't worry, March. We'll do some shopping later."

At Michael's soothing words, March smiled with joy and anticipation. It turned out that Michael also needed to buy a lot of things, Asta's credit card really came at the perfect time, after all, the only thing he had now were the Space Station clothes that had been arranged for him.

"But first, let's tidy up this room."

Standing up, Michael stretched and suddenly noticed March 7th getting closer and closer to the door. With a swift, clean movement, he grabbed her shoulder, stopping her from walking out the door.

"... May I ask where you are going, Miss March?"

March 7th: "... Michael, my friend, I suggest you quickly let go of me, in fact I have a contagious disease that makes anyone who touches me for more than five seconds die!"

"March 7th, my friend, I once heard a saying that the eyes are the window of the soul, so why don't you look at me while you say that...?"

March 7th: "You're really making things difficult for me..."

"... May I challenge you to a dance battle?"

March 7th: "... Okay, I'll help you clean, just don't take that glove you used before in front of me."

And so, Michael spent an afternoon cleaning his room along with Stelle and March 7th.
