Being A Law God In Marvel!

Chapter 20: Natural Ability

"This is no man's land, Diana. It means no one has made it across alive. The soldiers here have fought for nearly a year, but they haven't gained an inch. On the other side, German forces are dug in with machine guns trained on every part of this land. You can't make it through," Steve said, trying to reason with her.

"So, are we just supposed to let people die?" Diana asked, her voice firm. She couldn't stand by and ignore the suffering she saw, not when she had the power to help.

---

"No! We are saving people—it's just that we can't save everyone in this war. That's not our mission..." Steve tried to explain.

"Steve," Samir muttered, pulling him aside.

---

Logan stepped forward. "He's right. War is cruel. To win, sometimes you have to sacrifice the process... the so-called insignificant people or things."

"Are these people insignificant to you? They're human beings, living beings!" Diana snapped back, her eyes blazing.

---

"I've been one of the abandoned before, too," Logan replied with a shrug. "But hey, what you decide to do is up to you."

Victor grinned, baring his sharp teeth. "No one can cross alive? That was before—not necessarily now."

---

The German trenches were fortified with Maxim heavy machine guns, capable of shredding anyone who tried to cross. Victor would survive thanks to his healing factor, but the damage would still be brutal.

Diana turned to Ryuji, her expression full of resolve. "What do you think?"

---

"Isn't protecting humanity your mission?" Ryuji said, smiling faintly.

"Yes. That is my mission." Diana returned the smile, then reached up to place the Starlight Tiara on her forehead—an Amazonian symbol of her warrior's heart and duty.

---

Ryuji blinked in surprise. Where the hell did that crown come from?

What is this, a magical girl transformation sequence?

---

Diana stepped out of the trench, her silver bracers gleaming in the dim light.

"Diana—" Steve started, his voice panicked.

---

"What in the actual hell am I seeing?" Charlie cursed, stunned.

Victor grabbed Steve by the chest to stop him. "Relax, brother. If it's not your fight, don't step in. And besides... didn't someone say no one can cross alive?"

He gestured toward Logan, who was already moving. "Logan, let's show them how it's done."

---

Logan smirked, flicking away his cigarette. "Let's go."

The German trenches erupted.

"Someone's coming—open fire!"

"Fire!"

---

From behind the Allied lines, soldiers watched, frozen in awe and horror. Three figures were advancing through a storm of bullets.

In the center, Diana held her shield high, deflecting bullets effortlessly with her silver bracers. Her movements were fluid and graceful, a goddess in battle.

---

To the left, Victor sprinted low to the ground, moving like a wild animal, his claws flashing as he tore through the dirt.

To the right, Logan ran with sharp precision, dodging bullets at blinding speed. When a bullet grazed him, his healing factor kicked in immediately.

---

"Why aren't you helping them?" Steve asked Ryuji, his voice edged with frustration.

Ryuji smirked, leaning casually on his weapon. "Me? No need. My job's a bit different."

He turned to Doutzen Carlos. "You don't have Diana's divine armor. Stay with the others—those bullets will tear you apart."

---

"Ah, oh... okay," Doutzen replied, gripping her swords tightly. She had faced German fire before, but this was something else entirely.

"Stay safe," Ryuji added, his tone unexpectedly gentle. Then he placed a hand on his chest, muttering, "Darkness."

---

His body turned into a shifting black mist that snaked across the ground. The Allied soldiers gasped, their jaws dropping.

"What the hell is that?" Samir whispered, trembling with excitement.

---

Ryuji's mist-like form surged forward, cutting through no man's land with ghostly speed.

"Well... that's new," Charlie muttered, stunned.

---

Logan sprinted ahead, dodging fire like a man possessed. Three bullets streaked toward him; he dodged two, but the third was unavoidable. He crossed his bone claws in a desperate block.

Bang! The bullet shattered one claw, but Logan kept running, his body healing instantly.

---

"Logan!" Victor shouted.

"I'm fine!" Logan growled back, diving into a roll to avoid the next barrage.

Victor wasn't faring much better, pinned down by the unrelenting fire.

---

Diana pressed forward, bracing herself behind her shield as machine gun fire hammered against it. Sweat glistened on her brow, but she held her ground.

Suddenly, a black mist rushed past her.

"Well done, Diana. Leave the rest to me," Ryuji's voice echoed through the fog.

---

Before the Germans could react, the mist burst into their trenches.

"AAAHHH—!"

"What is that?!"

A swirl of shadows engulfed the soldiers, screams ringing out one after another.

---

Logan smirked as he heard the chaos. "Looks like someone finally got to work."

Diana lowered her shield, watching the mist as it swept through the enemy lines. Ryuji?

---

The battlefield echoed with screams and the sound of shadows consuming everything in their path.

Victory was no longer a question.
