Bizarre Honkai, a Wife-Chasing Crematorium

Chapter 10: Reencounter with Kiana

Li Mo's eyes grew increasingly cold. The light in his pupils underwent some changes, becoming guilty and ferocious.

He slowly raised his head. Countless hideous heads were right in front of him, surging toward him relentlessly.

However, at this moment, he couldn't feel fear in his heart.

He had broken his promise. He hadn't protected the students.

No, he hadn't even saved a single person.

Ekri probably also wanted to take revenge for his broken promise.

Thinking of this, Li Mo bit his lip. Blood trickled down from his lips and dripped onto the blank spirit tablet in his hand.

Suddenly, a portrait appeared on the spirit tablet. The portrait was two or three parts similar to Li Mo. As the blood was absorbed by the spirit tablet, the portrait on the spirit tablet completely transformed into Li Mo's appearance.

But the Li Mo in the spirit tablet was black and white, with no smile, empty eyes, and not a single expression.

Li Mo didn't look closely. Instead, he took out the silver-gray pistol.

"Heh. You like playing games, do you?"

Although Li Mo was smiling, his smile was filled with hatred and resentment.

His dark brown pupils began to fade. His deep black, empty eyes stared at all the heads.

The notebook had revealed its true colors.

Without a doubt, the notebook had concealed key information, successfully putting him on a dead end.

"You won the first round. Now, let's start the second round."

"If two times isn't enough, then we'll do it three times."

"You won't die, and neither will I."

Hope was precious because it was accompanied by despair.

Li Mo wasn't unable to accept their deaths. Instead, he couldn't accept that lives were lost because of his misjudgment.

Death was necessary, but meaningless death was ugly.

"Bang!"

Li Mo fell to the ground. His neck was broken. His head and body were separated.

The vertebrae at his neck were crushed. An odd head fell onto the spirit tablet.

And just as Li Mo had shot himself to death, a familiar beautiful figure appeared again.

She slowly walked from the auditorium entrance.

"Tap, tap, tap..."

The crisp sound of high heels appeared, intertwined with the roars of the head-eating ghosts that filled the auditorium, making it particularly discordant.

The head-eating ghosts had no intelligence. They acted on instinct.

When they saw the "human"-shaped living (or dead) beings with intact heads, they immediately swarmed forward.

In the head-eating ghosts' judgment, Li Mo's body, which had reached the limits of human potential, was like chaff compared to the newly appeared woman. The vast difference between the two made the head-eating ghosts immediately shift their target.

Ghosts couldn't be killed, just like the energy in the universe.

They couldn't disappear but could be transferred.

Suddenly, the violent head-eating ghosts lost all ability to move. They were disintegrated into billions of pieces of flesh and blood.

Even so, the head-eating ghosts didn't die. They tried to restore themselves. If they couldn't, they would restart themselves.

However, the white-haired girl simply swiped her fingers in the air in front of her, and time suddenly froze. The head-eating ghosts failed to restart.

The white-haired girl arrived before the spirit tablet as promised. It seemed that Li Mo's death had triggered her rules as a vengeful spirit.

She held Li Mo's head in her arms.

Her originally pale face actually had a trace of blush.

But for a vengeful spirit, a blush on their face definitely didn't mean shyness.

"Crack, crack."

The crunching sounds of chewing echoed in the silent auditorium. The white-haired girl held Li Mo's head in her arms, gnawing at it, chewing it, dividing it, and digesting it little by little.

Time flowed incredibly slowly. In the girl's movements, space-time seemed to be completely frozen.

After Li Mo's head was eaten, the white-haired girl finally showed a satisfied expression. Her hands gently touched her slightly swollen belly. The blush on her face grew more vivid.

Her crimson-rimmed eyes looked at Li Mo's body. Her mouth suddenly split open, revealing an upturned mouth that wasn't a smile.

She got up and walked over, placing Li Mo's body in the black coffin. The black coffin didn't budge.

In the next moment, she also lay down inside it, pressing on top of Li Mo's body.

The black coffin began to shake. Ominous blood gradually flowed from the four corners of the coffin.

The blood reflected many images. The images were of countless of Li Mo's bodies and incomplete heads.

The black coffin suppressed the evil. Scarlet blood filled the entire auditorium before time returned to normal.

With every encounter, she became closer to the real Li Mo.

One day, the two space-times would overlap. She would descend into reality and devour the real him.

Then, they would never be separated again...

They would always be together...

Whether in life...

Or in death...

..

.

Blood splattered in the air. The black coffin was like a small boat, drifting in a sea of blood.

At 7:31 PM, no one was left alive in the auditorium.

The forgotten sound of the gunshot finally returned, lingering above the vermilion beams of the auditorium. The world restarted, and time rewound.

The story began anew.

"How disgusting."

"They're really disgusting. I'm a bit nauseous. If we keep waiting, and they enter the auditorium, all of us will die. Prepare to fight them to the death. I'll take the lead."

"Hmm? That feels so familiar. Have I said these words before?"

A strong sense of déjà vu enveloped Shigure Kira, but she didn't take it to heart. There was a corresponding explanation for this feeling in the medical field.

In everyday life, people would suddenly have a feeling of déjà vu, such as the current conversation having happened before, or the current scene having been experienced before, even though everything had just happened and they had never had the same experience before.

People had many theories about this, including past life memories, secondary reflections, and overlapping timelines.

But Shigure Kira knew that these mystical-sounding concepts weren't supernatural events. They were real things that could be explained scientifically.

After all... the human brain could deceive itself.

Consciousness and memory were not characteristics inherent to human beings.

Otherwise, Schicksal Bishop Otto would have revived the saint that he yearned for so much a long time ago.

Shigure Kira shook her head to clear her mind.

The most important thing right now was how to survive the overwhelming horde of bizarre heads before her.

"Hey? Hey! Gloomy man, you too... Cough, cough. Why are you spacing out?"

Shigure Kira turned her head and noticed that Li Mo's pupils were unfocused. He was staring blankly ahead, motionless like a doll.

So, she reached out and patted his shoulder.

"Hmm, why do I feel a bit cold," Shigure Kira said in confusion. When she brought her hand close to Li Mo, a bone-chilling coldness invaded her body.

Li Mo's blurred consciousness gradually cleared. The temperature around him plummeted the moment it returned.

The color of his pupils seemed to be even deeper than before, with no light, only endless darkness and coldness lingering within.

"Second time..." Li Mo murmured softly to himself. He turned his head to look at the intact Shigure Kira, his lips moving, but not saying a word.

He was silent for three seconds before speaking.

"{Shigure Kira}, your hair is very beautiful," Li Mo said coldly, making a completely inappropriate compliment.

Shigure Kira was stunned and muttered with annoyance, "Could you please not praise a girl with such a gloomy voice? You won't be able to find a girlfriend like that. Also, is now the time to say this?"

"Also, even if you have to say it, you at least have to smile. You're complimenting me with a straight face. How much do you hate me?"

"..."
