Bizarre Honkai, a Wife-Chasing Crematorium

Chapter 40: Kiana Kaslana Has Gone Mad

"I'm sorry..."

Saori Tsuruyo had become the executioner, and Li Mo had fallen onto the "guillotine."

In an instant, his head and body were severed by the greatsword, no longer healing.

Striking blood splattered onto the marble…

Li Mo's head fell onto the neck of the headless corpse below.

But the connection didn't begin...

The spine that Theresa had left behind hadn't touched the headless corpse's spine.

The notebook's prediction seemed to be taking effect.

Li Mo was dead.

His closed eyes were no longer clear. He had completely lost all signs of life.

It was unknown if the consciousness that his soul was attached to still remained inside his severed head.

The Unlucky Ghost fell silent, no longer speaking.

The bizarre entities inside his body became dormant, no longer reviving.

The blue-purple bizarre flames were completely extinguished, as if they no longer thought that there was any bizarre entity to act as fuel for them.

All the bizarre characteristics on Li Mo's body seemed to have died with him.

"Saori, the ghosts are moving!"

All twelve seats were now filled. The ghost banquet had officially begun.

Saori Tsuruyo retreated next to the unconscious Shigure Kira, staring blankly like a wooden doll at the blood dripping from her hands. It was the blood of the person she respected and admired the most.

The students were chattering and discussing.

"Is what senpai said true? Could it be that senpai made a mistake in his judgment?"

"Yeah, didn't he say that a terrifying thing would come in and kill all the ghosts? If it doesn't come, we're all going to die!"

After Li Mo died, the students were no longer timid. They said whatever they wanted, not caring whether their words would affect others.

The more afraid everyone became, the more they wanted to share that fear with the people around them, as if that could reduce their own fear.

"Shut up."

Saori Tsuruyo lowered her head, and her eyes under her bangs were hidden.

"We didn't say anything wrong. What if senpai miscalculated and causes us to die? He said that he would take us away..."

Before the other person could finish speaking, Saori Tsuruyo raised her head, revealing her cold eyes. She said, her voice chilling, "I said, shut up."

At this moment, the original weak, timid girl had transformed.

She had become decisive, brave, and no longer followed the crowd. She tried to impose her will on the environment and on others.

Because she had paid the price for her growth. She had personally killed the hero whom she had followed.

"Thump!"

The heads started to move.

The tall corpse stood up and rushed toward Li Mo's headless body.

The ghost banquet had begun.

The heads occupying the seats started to stir, jumping and bouncing closer to Li Mo's headless body.

The heads that hadn't occupied a seat began to tear at the structure of the auditorium. All the bizarre entities had become restless.

"It's over. We're all going to die…!"

The students looked at the scene with despair. The auditorium was filled with bloody and filthy bizarre entities. There was no exit. There was no hope.

Saori Tsuruyo was calm. She picked up the thermometer again, even though the temperature on it had plummeted to zero degrees.

She believed that Li Mo's plan would definitely succeed.

And all she could do was wait.

The first ghost to make contact with Li Mo's headless body was the tall corpse, the derivative of the Upside-Down Ghost.

The tall corpse stopped half a meter away from Li Mo, stretched its long neck, and opened its mouth, which was split all the way to its ears. It wanted to swallow Li Mo whole in one bite.

Suddenly, as if it had turned into an ice sculpture, the tall corpse froze, maintaining its stillness in an unscientific, weightless posture.

A graceful shadow appeared at the entrance of the auditorium.

She walked slowly, step by step, towards the depths of the auditorium. The moment she entered, the stinking odor stopped spreading. Instead, an extreme coldness took its place.

The dim candlelight illuminated Kiana's pale face.

At first glance, she looked like a calm, clear river that washed away the stagnant mind.

Her waterfall of two-meter-long white hair was smooth, crystalline, and spread out on the ground, reflecting a faint glow from the dew.

It didn't seem as if a terrifying bizarre entity had come, but rather, a holy and noble angel.

But this beautiful feeling only lasted for a moment…

Turbid eyes, interwoven with crimson and dark gold, appeared. Her pale skin didn't have a single trace of color, and there was crimson bloodstains around her dry lips.

Her behavioral patterns remained unchanged.

She was wearing a pure white dress.

She had a cold, morbid smile on her face.

In the entire auditorium, besides Saori Tsuruyo and the other living people, Kiana was the bizarre entity that looked the most like a human.

"Boom!"

The tall corpse, which had been eyeing Li Mo's corpse, instantly exploded, turning into scattered pieces of flesh that landed all over the auditorium. Some were even blown out of the auditorium.

The derivative couldn't even reset itself.

"Boom! Boom!"

Kiana took one step forward, and the surrounding head ghosts had the same fate as the tall corpse, exploding one after another like bloody fireworks.

They were separated into countless pieces of flesh. And you could vaguely see traces of spatial expansion left behind.

"Saa…"

Saori Tsuruyo suddenly covered her classmate's mouth to prevent her from making any noise and attracting the entity's attention.

After glaring harshly at the person who wanted to make a sound, Saori Tsuruyo made a gesture to be quiet, then looked at Kiana.

She was the hope that Big Brother had left behind…

Saori Tsuruyo swallowed her saliva. She had never seen such a bloody method of killing.

Just getting close to it caused the surrounding objects to warp and break.

She looked beautiful beyond words, but she was even more terrifying than all the bizarre entities she had encountered.

Kiana's steps and posture were very stiff, like a child who had just learned to walk, very clumsy.

But every step she took was a great shock to everyone.

The head ghosts around her released indistinct roars, and then exploded.

The pieces of corpses constantly returned to the moment before they broke apart, trying to reset themselves.

But, without exception, the reset failed.

The essence of resetting was to return the body to its previous spacetime.

The Herrscher of the Void's power gave Kiana control over space, and the Herrscher of the Finality's power gave her control over time.

Under normal circumstances, the two could not combine. Even if they existed in the same body.

Whether it was space or time, it was difficult for them to interfere with each other's rules.

But an accident had happened. The bizarre entities had contaminated Kiana, and they also contaminated her Herrscher powers.

The powers that shouldn't have been compatible were forcefully combined in an incomprehensible way, turning into a bizarre space-time ability.

It even turned Kiana into a conceptual existence.

Moonlight, a special old-world medium, love… she existed on these things. How "dreamy and beautiful" that sounded...

Bizarre entities couldn't be killed, but they could be forcibly held in a state of death.

Without any obstruction, under Bizarre Kiana's power, all the bizarre entities in the auditorium were frozen at the moment of their death.

She wouldn't allow any bizarre entity to hurt Li Mo. Not even touch him.

Bizarre Kiana walked in front of Li Mo.

She tilted her head. Her empty eyes seemed to have a hint of confusion in them.

There were two corpses of Li Mo before her, and one head that retained its consciousness.

In the end, she chose Li Mo's main body, not the corpse in the black coffin.

Because the bloodstains that she had seen in the moonlight had come from Li Mo's main body.

"Ugh...!" Everyone's pupils dilated, as they watched Kiana's nauseating actions with shock and astonishment.

Kiana squatted down, opened her small mouth, and bit by bit, "sent" Li Mo's body into her own body.

Whether it was shriveled pieces of meat, blackish-red, filthy blood, or the decaying and shrinking organs, they were taken without any reservation by Kiana.

"Crunch… crunch, crunch…"

Her teeth crunched down on bone, which produced crisp chewing sounds.

Her pure, cold face was stained with an even more eerie crimson.

It seemed as if she had gained a bit more human features.

Kiana ate very carefully, not letting any scraps of the corpse go to waste.

The process was long… and bloody…

Saori Tsuruyo and the others took it all in…

The person who was able to turn the situation around no matter what the situation had been eaten clean by the bizarre entity before them, and had no chance of surviving.

Saori Tsuruyo suppressed the hatred in her heart, trying her best to remember the features of the person before her.

Long, white hair, and eyes that were interwoven with crimson and dark gold…

It was so familiar, but she couldn't remember who she was.

After a while, Kiana's eyes went through a slight unexpected change.

The crimson and dark gold gradually faded away, and a lively, playful blue color reappeared.

"Where am I…"

"I woke up again. How long can I stay awake this time…"

Before the girl could recover, the lingering warmth of flesh and blood on her hands attracted her attention.

Kiana looked down and the hellish scene before her completely broke down her heart.

Her hands were grasping a pile of rotten meat, and shattered bones that still had bone powder and saliva on them.

And the most striking was the familiar clothing and the fragments of black hair…

"It's A-Mo…"

"No, it's not like this! I didn't do it…! I didn't do it…!"

Kiana was sobbing, her body trembling, as she picked up Li Mo's head.

She whimpered mournfully, uttering some obscure and painful low words. Every sound expressed despair and regret, trying to deceive herself into thinking that this wasn't her fault.

But with the blood and gore in her hands, how could she not know what she had done?

The thought of suicide floated in her mind, but she couldn't do it. Even if she pierced her brain with a spear, she would still be able to survive in a bizarre way.

"It wasn't me! I didn't do it! I didn't kill him!" Kiana didn't know who she was talking to, repeating the same words again and again.

In her long existence, having found out that she was no longer able to retain her consciousness, Kiana had committed suicide countless times, all of which had ended in failure.

The bizarre entity had completely taken her over. Her consciousness and soul had faded into dormancy, and she could only regain her lucidity for a brief moment at certain times.

Like now.

Every time she became lucid, it didn't bring any joy, but rather, deeper despair. Every time she woke up, she would see a reality where there was only a lonely head in her hands, the head of the boy who grew up with her since childhood…

Her mouth was filled with a sweet taste of blood, and the memories of swallowing Li Mo came flooding back. She had turned into a blood-drinking monster, devouring the body of the person she loved the most and sucking his blood…

"Ughaa…!"

Kiana roared hoarsely like an uncivilized beast.

The blood-red shadow behind her started to tear at her pure, beautiful hair, leaving claw-like scars on her sweet-looking face…

This wasn't the first time, and it wouldn't be the last.

She would never reach the end of this tragedy.

Never.

Kiana Kaslana had gone mad.

She curled up her body in a humble way, like a lonely animal, tightly hugging Li Mo's head, deceiving herself by pretending he was still by her side and still alive...

This childish action was the only meaning she had for living.

The endless darkness began to embrace the dim candlelight in the auditorium, and the crimson moonlight shone in through the entrance.

The moonlight seemed to be alive, slowly creeping towards Kiana.

A dense mass of blood-red eyeballs grew out of the ground, staring intently at the lucid Kiana.

When the crimson moonlight shone on Kiana's body, her clear blue eyes gradually disappeared, replaced by a bewitching, dim glow in her pupils.

Her eyes started to become bloodshot, until they overflowed out of her eyes. A glimmer of dark gold appeared in the crimson eyeballs.

Her painful expression suddenly turned into an eerie smile.

"Iloveyou~♥"

Bizarre Kiana mechanically expressed her love, and this morbid love was chilling.
