(Genryujin's POV)

"Come back here." I said grabbing Soi Fon's hand

I had caught up to her on the hallway, 

"Let go of me." She said pulling away as she gave me a frown

"What's the issue?" I said as she stood in front of me, "Tell me, what's wrong? What can I do to make it right?" 

She didn't look at me, she merely stood there, her back to me. 

"I..." She started, "I was always skeptical about this....my place in this relationship." 

I frowned, "Hey." I said softly, "Don't say that...." 

I turned her around to see her frown, there was a lot of emotion in her eyes. I could tell she was frustrated, angry, sad, and heartbroken. 

"I don't know, Genryujin...." She said, "I don't know if I can be a Captain and your wife at the same time. I'm not like Retsu-san, I'm not....." 

I patted her cheek, "Shh..." I said gently, "Look.....right now...I need all of my women's support, including you, Soi Fon...I can't have you leaving me...Please don't do this to me." 

"You...." She said softly, "You never looked at me the way you looked at her....at Saito....." 

I sighed, "I'm sorry...." I said, "T-The thing is....you're right...you weren't there during the War....You didn't build the same bond I did with them." 

She looked down, "Y-Yea..." 

I placed my hand under chin, lifting her face up, "That doesn't mean that we don't share memories of our own..." I said with a smile, "Remember the first time we met? You were so foolishly sneaking around Kisuke and I." 

"Hmph...." She said looking away

"You don't mean it, do you?" I asked, "Leaving me....." 

"I don't know anymore...." She whispered

I wrapped my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me, "I mean it when I say this; Sui Feng...." I said, "I care about you, I always have.....making you my wife wasn't on a whim....the way I feel about you...it's the same as Katori and Retsu.....Saito and I.....we....it's complicated..." 

"I know.." She said softly, "But Gen....you're willing to start a war for her..." 

"I'd do the same for you. For Retsu. For Katori." I said seriously, "I wouldn't let anyone defile any of you and get away with it....I wouldn't...." 

"I see...." She said

"Remember when you chased me all over the mountains of the Rukongai?" I said with a chuckle, "You were so angry that I was faster than you.....even activating your Shunko to try and reach me..." 

"I'm way faster than you now." She said seriously

"Maybe." I said as I stroked her hair, "That day....it's the first time you let your feelings for me known.....The day you let yourself be taken by me." 

"Yea..." She said as I felt her arms wrap around me

I didn't know what I was doing with Soi Fon. I always thought she knew that I loved her, but maybe I was giving most of my attention to my other Wives. Maybe I was in fact neglecting her. I didn't want to push her away, it's the last thing I wanted. I cared about her, I want to be with her, I want her with me at all times. 

She's a Gotei Captain, so we don't have much time together. Out of all my Wives, she's probably the only one that Gramps accepted so quickly, in his own way. 

"From that day, I've loved you, Soi Fon." I said, "You weren't just another woman I fucked, you were someone I cared about. The day Katori and Retsu accepted you as my third, was the day you were bound to me. You mustn't leave me, You will break my heart." 

"You broke mine..." She said as her voice shook slightly

"I will give you the world, I promise." I said, "But there are things that I must do. I cannot tell everyone of my plans, Soi Fon, you must understand." 

"Your plan?" She said, "You already told it, you want to cut Aizen down...you.....you already started something big, Genryujin....." 

I sighed again, "Saito is our woman....." I said, "Not just mine, ours. I allowed them to take her from me, from us. I allowed her to rot in that prison for centuries, I allowed all of it. I must atone for this, I must make it right. Aizen must die." 

"Don't do this, Genryujin.." She said, "Allow your Grandfather to pass judgement upon him." 

"No." I said seriously, 

"It's me who will take his head."
