Bloodstained Oath: English

Chapter 11: The Forgotten Power

Here's the English version:

---

In the stillness of the night, after their inevitable victory at the Battle of Eldoria, Caelum sat in contemplation inside his tent, staring at the flickering campfire. Although they had achieved a satisfying victory, a sense of emptiness lingered within him. The victory wasn't enough, not enough to topple the great force that had ruled their world for centuries. The Empire, the terrifying war machine, was still too powerful to face without additional strength.

Raedan's words echoed in his mind once again—that to move people, one couldn't just rely on personal desire, but must also understand the desires of others. Caelum knew they needed more than just the rebel army that had sworn allegiance. They needed allies. Powerful allies who could match the might of the Empire.

"With our current strength, we will end up crushed under the Empire's wheel," said Azrin, the leader of the rebellion, sitting beside Caelum. "We need allies. Without them, we will fall in an instant."

Caelum stared at Azrin without diverting his gaze. "I've been thinking about that, Azrin. There's a place we can go—a region to the south, far from the Empire's reach. There, there's a mercenary army known as the Blades of Narthal."

Daryn, sitting on the other side, interrupted. "Blades of Narthal? That's a force long lost to this world. Only rumors have circulated, some say they are now just a group without purpose."

"True," Caelum continued, "But they're strong. And they need a cause. We can give them that—a war they crave. They just need a reason to fight, and we can offer that. If we can get them to join, we'll have an army strong enough to destroy Fort Vallaris, the unyielding fortress near Eldoria."

---

The journey south was long and perilous. Thick forests and steep mountains made their way difficult, but Caelum and his forces kept their spirits high. Every step felt like a greater struggle, but they knew their goal was something bigger than just survival.

But along the way, in the thick of the night's silence, Caelum couldn't shake the lingering shadow of Raedan's words. What had he done so far—was it enough to make people believe in him? Would they still stand by him once it was all over?

In a border village, they finally found a breakthrough—there, the Blades of Narthal were last known to be. The town was deserted, but the atmosphere was heavy, filled with whispers of long-forgotten battles.

They met the leader of the Blades of Narthal—a woman with long black hair and sharp eyes, Vera Drax. A commander known for her toughness on the battlefield but also for the exorbitant price she demanded for a job.

"The Blades of Narthal don't work without a hefty price," Vera said, a half-mocking smile on her face, standing with arrogance. "What can you offer us besides blood and wealth?"

Caelum looked at Vera with a steady gaze, showing no sign of doubt. "I offer more than just money or riches. I offer a purpose. We mercenaries live for war, not just gold or jewels. If you want to fight, I can give you a war that won't end until the Empire is destroyed."

Vera studied Caelum with calculating eyes, as if searching for a flaw in his words. "What makes me believe you? What guarantee is there that after we win, you won't betray us?"

"I've never betrayed those who fight for the same cause," Caelum replied firmly, each word dripping with conviction. "We won't stop until the Empire is destroyed."

Vera fell silent for a moment, then a smile spread across her face. "Interesting." With that smile, the Blades of Narthal finally joined the rebellion, giving them a much-needed boost in strength.

---

With the added forces from the Blades of Narthal, Caelum pressed on toward Fort Vallaris, the strategically vital and impenetrable fortress near Eldoria. The fortress, a symbol of the Empire's power, was now the focal point of their struggle. Caelum knew that if they could destroy it, the path to victory would be within reach.

However, within the Empire, the nobles were beginning to feel the looming threat. In the grand hall of the Imperial Palace, Emperor Valerius sat upon his throne, a worried look on his face. Around him, advisors and generals debated the steps that must be taken to stop the rebellion before it was too late.

"What should we do about Azrin and Caelum?" asked one noble. "They're growing stronger, becoming more dangerous."

General Grathion Mordane, seated beside the Emperor, gazed at them with sharp, determined eyes. "Caelum isn't just helping the rebellion. He's become a symbol of everything we consider a threat. We need to eliminate him immediately. If he stays alive, more rebellions will rise."

Emperor Valerius nodded, though doubt still lingered on his face. "But they're growing in number. How do we face them with more forces joining their side?"

Grathion stared at the Emperor with unwavering confidence. "That's why I've decided to deploy our elite forces—the Black Guard. We will crush the rebels and make sure they never rise again."

---

Meanwhile, Caelum and his forces finally arrived at Fort Vallaris. The grand fortress loomed, daring them to approach, but Caelum knew this time, they would succeed. Elira led the archers to destroy the outer defenses with flaming arrows, while Daryn and Torren led the infantry to press the front lines. Caelum himself led the main assault, Raedan's sword in hand and Zarek's head still mounted at the tip of his spear, a symbol of their cruelty and courage.

This assault was more than just an attempt to bring down the fortress. It was a statement—that the rebels and The Crimson Blades would not retreat. They would destroy anything that stood in their way, even if it meant fighting the Empire to the bitter end.

---

After their victory at the Battle of Eldoria, Caelum realized that although his forces had won, they were still far from enough to face the enormous Empire. The power they had now would not suffice to bring down the Empire, and Caelum knew they needed more forces—forces that could help them fight the Empire's immense war machine.

Caelum thought of seeking new allies beyond the rebel forces, and with that, he began to consider who was worthy and capable of helping in this rebellion and revolution.

---

At night, as the Crimson Blades rested in a remote village, Caelum gathered with his high-ranking officers in a tent. Azrin, the leader of the rebels, sat beside him, while Elira and Daryn sat on the other side. They all knew that the Empire's forces they faced were much larger and more trained than what they had.

"We need to find allies, Caelum," Azrin said, his voice full of resolve. "If we only rely on The Crimson Blades and our current forces, we'll lose. The Empire is too strong."

Caelum looked at Azrin seriously. "I've been thinking about that. There's a place we can go. A region to the south, beyond the Empire's influence, known for its Migrant Troops—strong, trained mercenaries. They're known as the Blades of Narthal."

Daryn looked at Caelum with great attention. "Blades of Narthal? That force has been unheard of for a long time. Not many know about them. Rumor has it they're now just a group of people without purpose."

"But they're strong, Daryn," Caelum said. "And they need a cause. We can offer them what they need. We need strong forces if we want to destroy the Empire's fortress near Eldoria. Fort Vallaris—and that must fall."

---

After deciding to seek out the Blades of Narthal, Caelum led his group south, through forests and mountains, to find the forgotten mercenary force. Along the way, Caelum often remembered Raedan's words, reminding him not to focus only on his own desires, but also to understand the desires of others, so he could harness their potential.

Their journey stretched on, fraught with wild beasts and exhaustion. But finally, they reached a border town, where the Blades of Narthal were rumored to be.

There, they met the leader of the Blades of Narthal—a woman with long black hair, known as Vera Drax. She was a commander known for her bravery in battle, but also for the high price she demanded to take on a job.

"The Blades of Narthal don't work without a large payment," Vera said, a half-mocking smile on her face. "What can you offer us that's more enticing than the wealth and blood of the Empire?"

Caelum looked at her seriously. "We can give you more than just payment, Vera. We can give you a purpose—a purpose to keep living. Mercenaries live for money and wealth. I can offer you all that, but more than that, I can offer you what you truly desire. War!"

Vera studied Caelum, her eyes calculating. "And why should we trust you? What guarantee is there that you won't betray us once we win? A guarantee that you'll keep your promises?"

"I've never betrayed anyone who fought for the same cause," Caelum replied firmly. "And we won't stop until the Empire is destroyed."

Vera finally nodded, agreeing to join the rebels. "Interesting!" Vera responded with a greedy smile. With that, the Blades of Narthal joined the rebel forces, giving them a strong new force to face the Empire.

---

With the new strength of the Blades of Narthal, Caelum decided to continue their journey toward Fort Vallaris, the great fortress held by the Empire near Eldoria. They knew that this fortress was a critical point in their war. If they could destroy it, it would pave the way for great progress in their struggle.

As Caelum and his forces prepared for the assault, within the Empire, the nobles began to discuss this growing threat—especially Caelum and Azrin's increasingly uncontrolled and dangerous stance.

---

In the Imperial Palace, nobles gathered to discuss the increasingly tense situation. The elderly Emperor Valerius sat on his throne, looking grave. Around him, the rulers and advisors debated the growing threat.

"What should we do about this rebellion, especially Caelum?" asked one noble, his voice full of concern. "This rebellion is growing stronger, and Caelum is clearly no easy opponent."

General Grathion Mordane, the Supreme Commander of the Empire, sat beside the Emperor and stared at the nobles with sharp eyes. "Caelum isn't just one of the rebellion's leaders. He's become a symbol of everything we consider a threat. We need to eliminate him immediately. If he stays alive, he'll spawn more rebellions. We must destroy all of it before it's too late."

Emperor Valerius nodded, but his face showed doubt. "But how can we face them with more forces joining the rebels? If we make the wrong move, we may lose even more."

Grathion stared at the Emperor with unyielding confidence. "That's why I've decided to deploy our elite forces. The Black Guard will return, and I'll prepare people to lead our forces directly to those rebel scoundrels."

Emperor Valerius grinned, his eyes full of determination. "If we let them grow any larger, they will become a much bigger threat. We will send forces to crush them once and for all."

---

Caelum and his forces, with the added strength of the Blades of Narthal, finally reached Fort Vallaris. The fortress was magnificent, protected by sturdy stone walls. However, with the strategy they had prepared, Caelum and his forces began their massive assault.

Elira led the archers, firing flaming arrows that struck the fortress walls, while Daryn and Torren led the close combat forces to attack the enemy at the front. Caelum himself led the main assault, with Raedan's sword in hand and Zarek's head still mounted at the tip of his spear.

This attack was not just about bringing down the fortress, but about showing that the rebels and The Crimson Blades would not back down, no matter how great the threat.
