Chapter 13: Getaway
The reasonings for the guard entering the house and coming to her could be easily guessed by Azra.
The most simple one would be to use the given opportunity to use Azra to gain access to the doctor's house to steal some things but there was another reason that she had discovered when they were in the car together from the way he was looking at her.
He saw an opportunity when he had seen that Azra would be alone and was in a vulnerable position so he had insisted on taking her to the doctor's home where it would only be the two of them.
No matter what happened inside of the house, there would be no way for Azra to tell anyone what happened due to her condition.
Azra could use the cards and could recognise which ones to use for different situations but it did not show that she could write when they were prepared for her by the doctor.
A mute girl that was unable to tell her side of the story would be unable to tell others what he had done inside the house and if he had other intentions towards her then she would be unable to say no to him or resist his advances.
He was in a little of a hurry so he had rushed inside and came looking for Azra after the door was left a little open then arrived in front of her.
He made his move and his guard was down against the helpless girl in front of him but the lighting in the room was not that good and he was unaware of the truth behind everything.
Azra had come to know his intentions and had let him enter so that he could fall into the trap set for him.
The appearance of a helpless and disabled girl that could be taken advantage of was what had made him have more confidence that what happened within the house would not be leaked out and he did not have any vigilance up against her.
Azra had planned on killing him the moment that he had kept insisting on coming but he had further made her wish to kill him when she noticed his real intentions.
She did not invite him inside to be out of sight but he had done it himself so it had saved her the trouble of thinking of a way to lure him inside where he could be dealt with without drawing attention to them.
Since he insisted on bringing her there then he would take her back too but Azra did not wish to go back to the mental institution, it meant that she could either choose to avoid him and find a way to slip away when he was not looking or she had to find a way to remove him from her path.
He was one among the many that had harmed or humiliated her but she would not go out of her own way to deal with him if it meant getting in the way of her escape.
The safe was opened within the house and Azra started to go through all of the documents and books that the doctor had out in the open or kept stored away.
His computer was accessed and was wiped completely as another measure to erase proof of her existence then the documents were piled up together.
Fake identity cards that the doctor had made for himself and her had been sorted out along with some additional start up funds then she had taken what was needed.
Before leaving the house, Azra placed the bag and suitcase at the door, placed a cap and sunglasses on then walked outside.
The door was closed behind her and was locked then Azra stepped further outside and walked quickly down the road towards the nearest metro railway underground entrance.
Her ashen hair was pushed back into her hat and the sunglasses helped to cover up her appearance a little better while she had worn a simple loose hoody over the clothes she had changed into before leaving.
If someone did not look too closely then she could easily be mistaken as a handsome male teenager that was wearing loose clothing and she had quickly arrived to get onto the metro after she had got her ticket for travel.
While Azra was gaining more distance from the mental institution and that part of the city, the house that she had left behind has started to show signs of burning down as the black smoke rose up from it.
The unconscious guard was heavily sedated and even if he did not die from being overdosed with too much of it, the fire that was spreading around would do the rest of the work.
Even if he somehow woke up from the pain of being burnt alive, there were too many flammable liquids and documents that would only worsen the chances of the flames growing much larger or an explosion happening.
The door was locked and the only possible escape route would be to break the windows but he would still be far too weak to break them.
It was a dead end for him unless he was an incredibly lucky person.
Azra had travelled several stops in a short amount of time and had gotten away leaving a lot of time to spare before there was a response to the fire and before the body of the doctor would be found.
