Chapter 0
Chapter 0: Prologue
This morning, I realized that something was off.
Thin legs, reminiscent of dry twigs.
And arms that felt like thorns.
Instead of the weight plate I used to sleep with in my arms, there was now a heavy mound on my chest.
“Could it be because I skipped my supplements out of laziness?”
I already knew that the words escaping my mouth were nonsense.
But it felt like I wouldn’t be able to endure if I didn’t say something, anything.
Forcing my still-groggy brain to recall last night, I tried to piece things together.
Then, I remembered the last ridiculous post I had made.
[A random lion meme]
[Don’t mess around, seriously. Do you think living honestly is the answer? While you’re living “honestly,” ts girls are just duplicating money through streaming. Here’s a warning. Anyone who flaunts their corporate life and pretends to be diligent in front of me while quitting at 6 PM sharp, or anyone acting “smart” after lucking out with a random stock investment, I’ll slap them silly. Compensation? Just get it from the broth-like people. I’m invincible. TS is God.]
Random User: I’m so tired of downvoting this garbage post every day; why do you live like this?
QuantumVirginTheoryCopenhagenInterpretation: I’m exactly 300,000 won mad, haha. 98-765432-321 zzBank.
174cm54kgTSGirl: I believe in my son…
MomDadSorry: Is this guy a clock? Every day at 10 AM, he drops one garbage post and goes back to sleep.
Random User: Can you insult me too? LOL. Give me a shortcut indictment and 300k won~ 12-12312324-123 xxBank.
YellowYellow: His IP is in Korea, but why is his timezone Buenos Aires?
GoodNickGoroshi: Wow! The land of Messi! Damian’s life.
I had just spent the night exchanging witty banter with the community ghosts, and now I wake up to find my body like this?
“Shit…”
A curse escaped from the depths of my lungs.
“There’s no way writing one crappy post could change my body like this.”
Outside the train window, the view was the same as usual, as if indifferent to the bizarre anomaly that had occurred to me.
It was an ordinary 5 PM afternoon.
The winter sun was slowly setting, and the streets were busy with people coming and going.
The shadows of the street trees stretched forward in long strides.
The sunset glimmered between the forest of buildings in the distance, blinking as if wiping sleepy eyes.
The same familiar scenery.
Only the ticking sound of the clock on the wall quietly reminded me that this was reality.
Whatever had happened to me,
Time continued, and the world remained unchanged.
Yet, I felt a faint chill creeping through a corner of my body.

This absurd and incomprehensible situation.
By habit, I brought my thumb to my mouth.
Crunch.
The sound of biting my nail.
The phone lying beside my pillow had been blaring its alarm for a few minutes now.
As I picked it up to silence it, I caught a glimpse of my reflection on the screen, and my strength left me, causing me to drop the phone.
“What the hell was that…?”
I barely managed to calm my startled heart with a few deep breaths and picked up the phone again.
My trembling hands entered the password.
The main screen appeared.
The cloudy sky set as the default wallpaper remained the same.

Without opening an app, I turned on the default camera and took a selfie.
The face displayed on the phone’s screen was that of a weary-looking woman with a faint, fragile smile staring back at me.
Typically, when you hold the rear camera this close, your face looks round like a bun, but that wasn’t the case here.
While staring blankly at the selfie, I closed my eyes and slowly swept my hand down my face from my forehead.
The cool touch of my fingers glided over my closed eyelids, down my nose, and across my cheeks.
To my surprise, my skin felt soft.
The cold sensation paused briefly at my lips before tracing my slender jawline.
When the icy grip reached my carotid artery, I felt a slight chill that caused my heartbeat to pound faintly.
My heart raced.
It was the moment I found myself in the body of a stranger.
Slowly, my closed eyelids lifted, and my vision began to focus.
Large, monochrome eyes with distinctly defined pupils stared back at me.
The downturned corners of the eyes and the small tear mole beneath them gave off a somewhat decadent vibe.
At first, the face seemed entirely unfamiliar, but upon closer inspection, the drooping corners of the eyes and faint dark circles reminded me of my original appearance.
Given that there was no difference in perspective due to height, it seemed my height hadn’t changed much.
“…This is still here.”
I ran my hands through the pink-blonde hair that cascaded down to my shoulder blades, noticing the piercings densely lined beneath the strands.
Normally, such piercings might give off a messy vibe.
But combined with the unique features, they exuded a strangely decadent allure, drawing my eyes involuntarily.
Aside from looking slightly painful, the face was flawless.
The flamboyant hair color suited the appearance perfectly.
Lastly, I confirmed that the star-shaped tattoo I’d gotten on my neck just after graduating high school was still there, leaving me with a strange sense of relief.

The phone vibrated a few times before going silent again.
When I picked it up to check, a notification popped up about low battery mode.
“I should just charge it first.”
It seemed like a friend had sent a message, but I couldn’t be bothered to check it right now.
I flipped the phone over, leaving it facedown as usual.
