Chapter 13: 13. Sakura Airi's Crazy Fans
The next morning, Horikita went back to her room. Meanwhile, Kiyotaka was walking down the street and found a message posted by Ichinose on the school bulletin board.
"If you have any clues about the fight between Class C and Class D students, please contact Class B's Ichinose Honami..."
Suddenly, Ichinose appeared. "Ah, what a coincidence, Ayanokouji-san," she said with a friendly smile.
"Hello, this is..." Kiyotaka greeted back and looked at the message on the bulletin board, then asked hesitantly.
"Oh, this, I thought if anyone knew about this matter, they could let me know through this. I also posted the information on the forums and other places." After saying that, Ichinose's cellphone rang.
"Hey, we have a lead right away." she said as she read the message that had just arrived.
"Apparently, one of the three injured people had a bad record in junior high school. He was known as a bully and often got into fights. This information is quite useful. I will give a reward to the sender." Ichinose contacted the sender of the message, but it turned out to be anonymous.
"How am I supposed to give a gift if the sender is anonymous?" she said in frustration.
Kiyotaka reached out. "I know how to do it. Give me the phone."
"Well, okay." After saying that, Ichinose gave the phone to Kiyotaka. Since she wanted to know how to operate it, she moved closer and pressed her entire body against Kiyotaka, and the large mountain peak continued to vibrate along with her movements.
It was too stimulating… Kiyotaka said silently, and immediately transferred his gift to the person in one operation, and glanced at Ichinose's balance of over 2 million.
"Okay, if there are any more clues, I'll contact you. See you," Ichinose said, waving her hand before leaving.
"Okay, see you later." After she left, Kiyotaka pondered. Why did Ichinose have such a large balance in just two months since school started? However, he decided not to think too much about it.
Time passed day by day, and Sudou's problem did not make any effective progress. It didn't matter to Kiyotaka, but Horikita was worried, it didn't matter if Sudou dropped out, but his resignation would affect her class promotion.
Kiyotaka saw Horikita worrying about this and called Kikyo during break time.
Since that day, Kiyotaka didn't contact Kikyo again. This time he came to her again, which made Kushida's eyes fill with hope.
"What do you want from me, Ayanokouji-kun?" she asked.
"Sakura Airi. You must know her, right?"
"Airi? I know her. She's usually quiet. I've tried talking to her a few times, but she wasn't very interested."
"She might be an eyewitness to Sudou's incident. Try asking her if she's willing to help," Kiyotaka said.
"Okay, I'll try," Kushida replied with a smile.
After school, Kushida went to see Sakura Airi.
"Airi!" she called.
Sakura Airi turned her head in panic. "What's wrong, Kushida-san?"
"I want to ask, do you have any evidence about Sudou-san's incident? If so, can you help us?"
Sakura looked troubled. "I don't know anything. Stop looking for me," she said as she tried to run away. However, in her panic, she fell, and her camera fell with her.
Sakura quickly got up and picked up her camera. After pressing a few buttons, the camera stopped working.
"How could that be…" she muttered in a trembling voice.
"I'm sorry, Airi-san. If it weren't for me, your camera wouldn't have been damaged," Kushida said regretfully.
"No, it's my own fault," Sakura replied, before leaving in a hurry.
Watching the incident from afar, Kiyotaka realized that a direct approach wouldn't work. He decided to dig deeper.
There was a daily model who was a little famous on the Internet. Except for her hair color which was the same as Sakura Airi's, her style was very different. However, unexpectedly, it turned out that her real identity was Sakura Airi.
Currently, Sakura Airi was enjoying her beautiful photos in a dark room and also browsing through messages from her fans. Almost at the bottom of all her photos there was always a message.
"Airi-chan, you are getting more beautiful."
"Airi-chan, you finally updated. Without you I feel like life has lost its meaning."
"Airi-chan, I seem to know where you are. I am breathing the same air as you now. I am so happy."
"Airi-chan, I can't help but want to find you, wait for me, I know who you are."
As he went to the back, his words became crazier. Sakura Airi was so scared that she turned off the computer and didn't dare to look at it anymore, and the room became dark.
On the weekend, because Sakura Airi's camera was broken, she went to an electronics store in the mall to have it repaired.
"Hello, I want to fix this camera," she said in a hesitant voice.
"Okay, come right away." The one who answered her was an oily uncle. He was surprised to see Airi's appearance but quickly hid it, he dismantled it as if he had found something.
"What's broken? Can you tell me." Airi saw him dismantling the camera.
The oily clerk looked at her pretendingly and said, "The parts inside are broken and it will take two or three days to fix. Please go and register your information and I will give you an update later."
Sakura hesitated, but finally asked, "What information do I need to write?"
When the oily clerk heard this, he raised his head and looked at Sakura Airi and said, "Name, phone number, and... address." At the end of the sentence, the oily clerk's mouth showed a suspicious smile.
Sakura Airi looked at the clerk in fear. She wanted to run away, but the camera was in her hand, so now she didn't know what to do.
Just when Aili was confused, a cold voice sounded, "Just use my information, quickly register it." He said firmly, taking control of the situation.
"After it is written, you can contact me when the time comes." Kiyotaka continued.
Seeing Kiyotaka suddenly appear, the oily clerk clicked his tongue softly. Unfortunately, he didn't dare to attack in public, so he had to put away the registration form angrily and leave.
"Ayanokouji-san... why are you here?" Sakura Airi looked at Kiyotaka in surprise and asked.
"Ah... I was passing by. I saw you were in trouble, so I decided to help."
Is this really happening? It's impossible. When Sakura Airi smashed her camera, you could tell from her anxious expression that this camera was very important to her.
This was the only electronics store in this place, he had been waiting for a long time to meet Sakura Airi here.
"Thank you, Ayanokouji-san. If it's okay with you, may I buy you a drink?" Sakura Airi lowered her head and said obediently.
"Okay, I'll gladly accept it." Kiyotaka was still looking directly at Airi, without any emotion in his eyes, but such a blank expression made Airi relax for some reason, and her whole body was no longer tense.
At the first floor drink shop of the shopping mall, Kiyotaka took out a piece of paper with a number on it, handed it to Sakura Airi and said "This is my cell phone number. If your camera is repaired, or if you have any questions, you can contact me."
Airi was silent for a moment, her face turned slightly red and she said hurriedly. "Sorry, I was negligent. I should have given you my contact information."
After a while of small talk, the two finally added their contact information.
After taking a few sips of his coffee, Kiyotaka glanced at the much more relaxed Sakura Airi, and said "I want to ask you. Do you have any evidence that can prove Sudou's innocence?"
Sakura Airi's originally relaxed expression suddenly became tense, and she unconsciously tore the note with the number in her hand.
When Kiyotaka looked at Airi like this, he knew that now was not the right time, so he said "It's okay if you don't want to say it, just pretend I didn't ask. Then I'll go first."
Sakura Airi looked at Kiyotaka's leaving figure with a very uneasy expression.
