Chapter 5: Chapter 5 Encounter with Bandits_1
Basil Jaak knew perfectly well that Yetta Astir was taking personal vengeance, yet he was helpless. After all, he was caught red-handed during the massage, hiding an inappropriate comic book on him.
The two cops took Basil Jaak back to the dark room. As they were leaving, they laughed gleefully, "You've pissed off our chief, get ready to spend the night here."
Tch! I'm not afraid of that lass. I'll spend the night; I can save on hotel bills. Basil Jaak thought about how he was caught before he could even pay for the massage, which made him happy, at least it saved him some money.
Perhaps he was really tired, Basil Jaak dozed off in the corner of the dark room after a while. In his dream, he was getting an oil massage, and the masseuse was none other than the fiery beauty Yetta Astir.
Just as Basil Jaak was enjoying himself, ready to climax, a cleaver appeared in Yetta Astir's hand. The sharp blade flashed coldly under the red light, making one's heart jump.
"Enjoying yourself? I can make it even better!" Yetta Astir said maliciously, before Basil Jaak came to his senses, she raised the cleaver towards his manhood.
"Aah..." Basil Jaak screamed, waking up in fear, and looked down at his little buddy, hoping it could still be used.
Luckily it was just a dream, Basil Jaak wiped the cold sweat from his forehead. Thinking of what had just happened, he swore to himself, I'll keep my distance from that crazy girl in order not to have that nightmare come true.
"Basil Jaak, you can come out now." The shout of a cop came from outside the door. Finally, Basil Jaak was free.
After spending a night in the dark room, it was now early morning.
Feeling the outside air, Basil Jaak felt a sense of relief. A smile spread across his face, and he finally understood why people say that to attain freedom, one would give up anything.
An older prison guard handed Basil Jaak his bag, and told him, "Here's your stuff, sign, and leave if there's no problem."
Basil Jaak checked the stuff in his bag, nothing was missing, except for a few hundred bucks in his wallet that had turned into a fine. Basil Jaak was pissed off.
I didn't expect that lass to really fine me. Even though he was upset, Basil Jaak signed his name on the paper.
...
Strictly speaking, it's not summer yet, but there's already a rush of heat in the air. The sun in the distance was spreading its red glow over the city, foreshadowing that today's weather would certainly not be cool.
Basil Jaak patted his empty stomach, ready to eat a bowl of noodles. However, he realized he had no money in his bag. He couldn't dine and dash, so Basil Jaak decided to withdraw money from the bank first before eating breakfast.
Basil Jaak thought that not many people would come to the bank to withdraw money early in the morning, but when he walked in, he realized he was very wrong – there were not just many people, but a sea of people. It felt like there were indeed many wealthy people.
Seeing the long queues in front of the ATM machines, he quickly discarded his idea and decided otherwise. If he continued waiting in line, by the time he withdrew his money, it would be lunchtime.
But if he didn't queue, where would he get money? Just as Basil Jaak was worried, he spotted a young woman in a white professional suit walking past him to an empty counter, and said to the bank staff, "Hello, I want to withdraw money."
"All right, please wait." The staff took her bank card and proceeded to handle her request.
Basil Jaak grinned as he realized he could also withdraw money there, he laughed at the people still queuing, and quickly joined the line behind the woman in white.
The woman in white looked quite young, probably not more than 25. Because she wore her hair in a bun and was dressed in a professional suit, she looked more mature than her peers. Honestly, she was not a stunning beauty. With regards to looks, she didn't compare to the girl Basil Jaak met on the plane yesterday, or the gorgeous cop Yetta Astir. However, she emitted an air of competence which made people take a second glance.
Seeing a beauty for the second time, Basil Jaak silently defined the woman in white in his heart, letting his gaze slowly travel from her face to her full figure.
Compared to her not-so-outstanding facial features, the woman in white's body was explosively attractive in so many ways.
Whether it's the towering twin peaks or the plump and plump buttocks, they exude a mature aura. In this hot season, it is undoubtedly a deadly aphrodisiac for men.
Compared to the men standing in the distance secretly observing, Basil Jaak Taking advantage of the close distance, Basil Jaak intoxicatedly smelled the body fragrance emanating from the woman in white, and unscrupulously stared at the butt wrapped in a short skirt. The dragon on his lower body gradually raised its head.
At this moment, a list on the stage suddenly fell to the ground, and the woman in white quickly bent down to pick it up. With this bend, his round and elastic hips crashed directly into his giant dragon.
The hard gun head touched the soft groove, and Basil Jaak felt a burst of pleasure spreading from his head to his feet. The pleasure was boundless, and he couldn't help but moan heavily.
This sound was not loud, but it reached the ears of the woman in white. Her delicate body trembled slightly, turned her head, and glared fiercely at Basil Jaak. Her cold face was full of shame and anger, and her fiery eyes were like two sharp knives. If her gaze could kill someone, it would have pierced Basil Jaak's body with thousands of holes.
Basil Jaak hastily grinned at her, saying, "It's a misunderstanding, just a misunderstanding. It was definitely just a misunderstanding earlier. You know, normal men tend to have certain reactions in the morning, so... um..." He saw her expression getting worse and worse, so he quickly shut up.
"I can let it go this time, but I won't tolerate a next time," the woman in white coldly warned, her gaze as deadly as one looking up from the ground.
Basil immediately took two steps back, outside the red line behind her, and quickly said with a smile, "All good now?"
"Hmmpf!" she let out a cold sound, turned back around and ignored Basil Jaak again.
Damn, a fiery one she is. Her expression when angry really frightened me. Wiping sweat off his forehead, Basil feared that the lady might call for help and he'd be left with no rebuttal.
The woman in white withdrew her cash and left without glancing at Basil Jaak again. As if the earlier incident had never happened, she walked past him and headed to another counter.
Damn it, even if I'm not super good-looking, I consider myself handsome. She just ignored me like that, Basil muttered to himself unhappily. He walked up to the counter, took out a regular bank card, and said to the bank clerk, "I'd like to withdraw cash, too."
The bank clerk didn't take the card Basil Jaak handed over, and told him impassively, "I'm sorry, sir, we can't process this transaction for you."
"Why not?" Basil Jaak asked in his hometown dialect, "Didn't the lady just withdraw cash here?"
Upon hearing Basil Jaak's words, the clerk showed a flicker of contempt in his eyes. It was just a moment, but it was caught by the sharp-eyed Basil. The bank clerk explained, "Sir, this area is exclusive for VIP customers. Only customers with a VIP card can withdraw cash here. Miss White, who was just here, is a VIP customer. If you don't want to wait in line to withdraw cash over there, you can apply for a VIP card. The minimum amount for a VIP card is one million dollars."
One million dollars? Back when I was in Africa, I used to wander around with crates of dollars or diamonds. Basil Jaak gave a disdainful eye roll and pulled out a golden card and handed it to the clerk, asking, "How about this card?"
The gold card that Basil Jaak took out was the result of his business dealings over the years. It's accepted by all UnionPay worldwide, and just to maintain the card alone, he has $5 million on it. He hadn't taken it out earlier because he didn't want to use this high-profile card within the country to avoid being tracked.
When the bank clerk saw Basil Jaak's gold card, his eyes lit up immediately. He hurriedly told Basil Jaak,"If it's this card, of course there's no problem. I will get it processed for you right away."
However, just as he was about to reach out for the card, Basil Jaak suddenly pulled it back and said casually, "Sorry, I've changed my mind about withdrawing the cash."
For such VIP counters, every transaction brings in a significant commission. Seeing the golden goose about to slip through his fingers, the bank clerk quickly called out, "Sir, don't leave in such a hurry, let's talk further."
Upon hearing the clerk's request, Basil Jaak flashed him a smile, and looking at the flattery on his face, he coldly said, "I've never quite understood what it means to 'look down upon someone', but now I finally get it. Thank you for that lesson."
The other man's face froze. Before he could react, Basil Jaak had already turned around and left.
When Basil was passing by the woman in white, he suddenly stopped, glanced at the form she was filling out and observed, "Lydia White, such a nice name."
Upon looking up and recognizing that the man standing before her was the one who was uncouth earlier, Lydia's expression instantly darkened. She was about to retaliate when suddenly, three men in masks burst through the door, brandishing guns.
Immediately, the bank was thrown into chaos, several people made a wild dash, trying to escape in the confusion.
"Anyone who wants to live, get down! Hands on your head..." One of them shot at a security guard who was attempting to resist, blood splattering everywhere. The people in the bank immediately quieted down and obediently crouched down.
