Crash Landed in Fairy Tail

A day had passed since Gildarts had left the forest. So far, he had not seen a hint of civilization or met anyone.

He is still headed east, trusting his luck to make things work out.

*Whistle! Whistle!*

Gildarts could be seen walking on a path, whistling without any care in the world, his hands resting behind his head while he bit on a toothpick.

"I've been walking east for more than a day already. When will I reach a village or something!?" He says in boredom.

As he continues walking in boredom, he unknowingly enters into an unknown woodland.

The trees shrouded him from the light, the winds grew silent and the chirping of birds and other animals became prominent.

Gildarts face became serious as he realized that he had walked rather deep into these woods, he felt a certain atmosphere of danger descending on him from the place.

He decided to put up his guard just in case.

"This place looks like trouble!" He says while spitting out the toothpick.

He continued walking carelessly but he had put up his guard and was cautious of his surroundings.

Around 30 minutes pass by without anything happening and Gildarts stops being so cautious and drops his guard slightly.

*Rustle! Rustle!*

A sound from a bush that was heard from behind him.

*Swoosh!*

Gildarts instantly turns around towards the noise and throws a stone that was filled with his magic power.

*BOOM!*

The bush from where that sound came from blew up, raising dust and dirt.

As the smoke cleared, he noticed that there was nothing hiding there.

'Was I mistaken?'

A huge shadow covered him the moment he was distracted looking at the bush.

"SHIT!" he tries to turn around in a hurry.

*BANG!*

A huge fist, twice the size of his head, arrives right in front of his face and punches him.

*THUD! CRASH!*

The punch sends gildarts skidding across the ground before he landed on a tree.

"Gah-!!" He groans on impact with the tree.

Before he could get up, his instincts flared up and he rolled to the side, narrowly missing the fist that pulverized the tree he was thrown at.

*BOOM!*

This time he was prepared and instantly put some distance between himself and the attacker by moving back.

*Swish!*

The dust that covered the area was blown away by the wind, exposing the identity of the attacker.

Gildarts eyes widened in recognition.

"Is that….what I think it is?" He asks in doubts.

Standing opposite to him was a big monster that resembled a giant ape, it had an elongated chin, prolonged ears, and a pointed head that resembled a single horn on top of its head. The monster also had disproportionately huge arms that were as big as its body.

It was a Vulcan.

Vulcans are ferocious monsters that live in various areas of Earth Land. Vulcans possess the ability to utilize Take Over Magic, which they employ by taking over human bodies in order to survive. All Vulcan species possess identical anatomy, Magic, and Abilities, but they each have noticeable differences that distinguish one another.

Mountain Vulcan possess a monochromatic color scheme, with their fur colored white and their pectorals, abdominals, hands, ears, and facial features colored black, the lower half of their body is a darker shade of black.This species of Vulcans is notably depicted to live in large packs.

The Forest Vulcans species has their fur colored green and their pectorals, abdominals, hands, ears, and facial features colored a bright shade of purple. Unlike Mountain Vulcans, their eyes evidently lack pupils and seemingly glow.

Rose Vulcans are a female-only species of Vulcans inhabiting Rose Mountain. This species has their fur colored red and their pectorals, abdominals, hands, ears, and facial features colored a lighter shade of red. Unlike other Vulcans, they can grow locks of hair around their head, aside from the top of it.

The beast looks back at him in ridicule and smirks.

"GHEHEHEHE!!"

"Weak human! You run like a rat!"

*Swoosh!*

The vulcan taunted him before instantly rushing over.

"HAAAH"

It screamed as it struck the place where Gildarts stood.

*BANG!*

The ground exploded.

However, Gildarts had already jumped away by this time and was observing the vulcan.

The vulcan looked at him and growled "STOP RUNNING!"

"Yeah right!" He snaps back.

Gildarts rushes forward with his fist covered in his magic power.

The vulcan seeing gildarts rushing towards him, swings back his hand to deliver a powerful strike.

*BOOM!!*

Their fists collided and created a great impact around them. The ground beneath cracked and the winds from the impact pushed the dust and leaves aside.

*CRASH!*

The huge frame of the vulcan crashed into the trees behind.

"AGRH!! It hurts! It hurts!" The monster screamed in pain.

In the clash before, gildarts easily overwhelmed the vulcan and flung it far behind with his punch.

As the cloud of dust settled, gildarts could be seen standing in his striking pose with his fist held out. A grin could be seen on his face.

*Smirk!*

"That's payback!.…you stupid gorilla!!"

"Grrrr…" the monster growled in frustration.

"What? Are you angry? What'chu gonna do now huh?" Gildarts taunted.

Being continuously humiliated by an ant he looked down upon as easy prey, provoked its anger resulting in rage consuming the mind of the vulcan.

*ROAR!*

*Thrash! Crack! Boom!*

The vulcan got up consumed by rage and went berserk, he started thrashing around and destroying everything around it while screaming in anger.

*GROWL!!*

It looked straight at gildarts, with its bloodshot eyes that looked like it wanted to tear him into pieces, and then rushed at him in madness.

Gildarts straightened himself and focused on the incoming attack by the berserk monster.

*Swish!*

He dodges the fist thrown at him by shifting his body to the right.

*Swish!* *Swoosh!* *Whoosh!*

He continues to dodge by shifting and ducking his body whenever the vulcan's fist nears him.

"GRAAH!! STAY STILL!!" The vulcan screams in anger because he couldn't touch him.

After dodging a few more of the vulcan's attacks, Gildarts goes on the offense. He brought his arm back before releasing it with great force.

*POW!!*

The straight fist digs into the vulcan's gut, causing its body to arc from the strength of the punch.

"OOF-!!" The vulcan spits in recoil.

Without stopping, Gildarts continues with an uppercut to the monster's jaw with his other arm.

"UFF-!" The shock from the punch rattling its eyes.

From the uppercut, gildarts puts his left foot down and spins backwards using his body's strength and then brings up his right leg to deliver a clean and powerful side kick.

*BAAM!*

His leg connected directly with the vulcan's body, sending it flying.

*CRASH!*

The vulcan was sent crashing into trees and rocks that were on the way, it rolled over a few times before it stopped near a huge boulder.

"Aahhh- urgh-" it groaned in pain before sitting up, its anger giving way to pain.

It held its head and groaned because it was throbbing from the beat down he got from gildarts.

*Shake!*

It shook its head to clear its dizziness and stood up shakily.

"Uh- oh-…Head hurts!" It mumbled in a daze and started looking around.

It spots the huge boulder beside it and a glint appears in its eyes.

"Grrrrr…"

The vulcun grabs the giant boulder and lifts it up, straining its muscles.

"GRAAH!!" With a shout it brings it above its head and turns around to look at the bastard that sent him flying.

It then sees gildarts coming towards him with an unimpressed look on his face.

"DIE!! You stupid man!!" with a roar the vulcun throws the giant boulder at Gildarts.

As the shadow of the boulder fell on him, Gildarts let out a sigh.

"Sheesh…this has gone long enough! Enough playing around!"

Gildarts face hardens, he raises his right arm at the falling boulder and clenches his fingers, releasing his magic.

"CRUSH!"

*Shiing!*

A grid like light flashes by and the huge boulder gets disintegrated into small cube-like pieces.

*Thud!* *Thud!* *Thud!*

As the destroyed stones pieces fell down, the vulcun could only stare in disbelief with its mouth wide open.

"Alright…time to end this!" Gildarts says grinning while bringing his hand back to release another attack.

"Wait…WAIT! Let's talk it out!!?" The vulcun raised its hand up and begged while backing out.

"No more talking, you damn gorilla!!" Gildarts grins and rushes at the vulcun.

"Take this…CRUSHING FIST!!"

*BOOM!*

"GUOOH!!"

A white spiral of destructive magic covered his fist and with it he sent the vulcun flying high above with an uppercut.

*CRASH!*

The body of the defeated vulcun falls head first into the ground.

"…and you're done."

*Sigh!*

"I would say that was pretty good for a first fight" he complimented himself while feeling proud.

"Hmm?"

A moment later, Gildarts notices something happening to the vulcan's body and goes over to see what's going on.

When he walked over, he saw that the vulcun's body was glitching and a bright light appeared before fading away.

When Gildarts opened his eyes, he was surprised.

"This is…!!?"
