Chapter 12: 012 Your uncle's name_1
Huo Jinnan turned his head and glanced at Yu Zimu, "You go to the Training Room first, I'll be there in half an hour."
Yu Zimu glanced at Che Huan, who was still draped in Brother Huo's suit!
She was the first woman to ever enjoy Brother Huo's special treatment. If she becomes Madame later, the sin would be great. Brother Huo might bear a grudge and send him to the Training Room every day!
He certainly didn't want to meet people every day with bruises on!
Yu Zimu swiftly shifted his gaze, smiling apologetically toward Huo Jinnan, "Brother Huo, then we'll wait for you in the Training Room."
Huo Jinnan remained silent, standing there with a cold and reserved expression, waiting for Yu Zimu, Shen You, and Qin Shaonan to get into the car and leave before he turned to look at his own black Bentley not far away.
Huo Bei drove over, stopping next to Huo Jinnan before stepping out of the driver's seat and personally opening the back door for him.
Huo Jinnan got into the car, his long legs casually crossed, as he lit a cigarette and glanced out of the window.
When passing by Che Huan, Huo Bei slowed the car down.
Huo Jinnan nodded slightly, "Check her out."
Having been by Huo Jinnan's side for many years, Huo Bei knew exactly what he meant without needing further words. Agreeing with a response, he stopped the car and personally got out to walk up to Che Huan, "Miss, Mr. Huo would like you to get in the car."
Che Huan originally did not want to get in, but having waited a long time without seeing a cab pass by, and recalling that she hadn't confirmed her uncle's situation with him, she saw Huo Bei opening the back door of the car, slightly bowed, got in and sat down at a distance from Huo Jinnan.
She looked at Huo Jinnan several times, wanting to speak to confirm, but stopped every time she was about to say something.
The man next to her seemed to regard her as nothing more than air, sitting there with his eyes closed, resting.
After a while, Huo Jinnan glanced sideways at Che Huan, "Where do you live?"
Seeing the time on her phone, Che Huan noted it was already very late. In her rush to get to Yunshang, there was no time to shop at the mall, and at this hour, the mall had closed. She couldn't buy shoes and a skirt, and she certainly couldn't let him drop her off at her uncle's place dressed only in a man's suit.
She gave Qiao Qiao's address.
Huo Jinnan looked past the car seat toward Huo Bei at the driver's area, "Take her there first."
Huo Bei acknowledged, changing lanes.
On the way, they passed a clinic. Huo Jinnan said softly, "Stop."
Huo Bei stopped the car and turned to Huo Jinnan, "Sir."
Huo Jinnan glanced at Che Huan's knee concealed by the suit jacket, "Take her to treat the wound."
Huo Bei looked in Che Huan's direction, "Miss Che, please."
He wouldn't have known if not told, but with his words, she suddenly felt pain in her knee.
Che Huan, seeing Huo Bei come out of the driver's side, followed him out of the car, limping over to the clinic with him.
Half an hour later, Huo Bei returned with Che Huan and they got back into the car.
Huo Jinnan looked in Huo Bei's direction, "Serious?"
Huo Bei glanced towards Che Huan, "Sir, the doctor says it's not serious, just a superficial wound. It will heal over with a scar in a few days."
Huo Jinnan closed his eyes without saying anything else, "Let's go."
Huo Bei started the car, driving quietly.
The car entered an old residential area and stopped below a worn-out building emitting a sense of life.
Huo Jinnan looked outside, "Your uncle's name."
"Wen Hua."
"You will have news in a week, provided that he's not corrupt," Huo Jinnan snuffed out his cigarette, looking down at the last wisp of blue smoke at the tip.
Wen Hua, a member of the Wen Family?
