“Then do explain where the family’s money comes from?” Cindy smirked, waiting to see the show.

Christy Xenos was trembling with anger.

“What do you mean? What are you trying to do?” Christy Xenos sensed something was amiss and immediately questioned in a shrill voice.

“That is… I’m still renting a house in Belfard, and the one I rent is small with a bad environment.” Cindy said, “I didn’t know our family is so rich now, so that’s why I never contacted home.”

“I knew that even if I spoke up it would be useless and would only earn your scoldings. I was also afraid of adding to Dad’s burdens, so I didn’t mention anything.”

“But now, since our family is so wealthy, I’m not afraid to talk about it anymore.” Cindy said, embarrassedly giggling, “I won’t ask our family to buy me a house. Just… just help me rent one.”
