A little closer to the entrance of Kronos, the Minotaur's roar followed by an explosive shout echoed as he raised his enormous sword and struck against the opponents in front of him—Aiz, Bete, Tione, and Tiona, who had surrounded him until that moment.

As his blade crashed into the ground, forcing all four of them to retreat, sound and dust rose as Asterius prepared to get rid of them before going after his destined challenge.

"This guy is hard to take down..." Bete muttered before sensing someone moving through the smoke, advancing towards Asterius. It was the two Amazons rushing at him.

They ran along the side through the dust, only seeing his silhouette as Asterius waited, feeling them approaching while they charged towards him.

The following moment, they leapt, appearing in front of him, trying to strike with punches. Asterius quickly moved his sword, hitting one of them with the blunt side of the blade directly. Tione was sent flying, crashing against debris, while Tiona reappeared at his unguarded side.

"You bastard!" she exclaimed, furious that he had struck her sister, delivering a punch that forced him back a few meters. But Asterius remained steady, swinging his sword at her in the next moment, forcing her to dodge and advance again through another opening.

Tiona hit him with another punch and a sweeping kick, causing him to lose balance for a moment, but he quickly swept her away with the sword in another blow, hitting her like her sister.

"I'm fighting too!" Bete spoke up at that moment, reappearing in his werewolf form, further boosting his strength. He clashed his claws directly against Asterius' sword, both of them struggling for power as they tried to overpower each other. Bete felt the pressure from the Minotaur increasing a moment later.

Asterius' strength was already overwhelming, and Bete was sent flying back as well. Aiz was the only one who had gotten back up, approaching the scene while seeing all her companions down. She looked at the Minotaur with a glint of hatred, yet he remained calm.

She said nothing, expressed nothing, just charged with all her speed, attacking with her slender sword, striking directly against Asterius' blade. The sound of the blades echoed through the air, but unlike the others, Aiz did not retreat, gaining a bit of ground.

Asterius noticed this and began to put more strength into his arm as it bulged, forcing her to slightly back off, dodging the strikes and launching attacks with a speed superior to Asterius, managing to make a small cut on his arm. The Minotaur reacted quickly, swinging his massive weapon, forcing Aiz to back off a little more, but she soon moved to his side.

Asterius raised his sword, trying to stop her from circling around him and finding an opening, while Aiz pressed him from the flank. The fight began to intensify, their swords clashing repeatedly, with Aiz continuing to use her superior speed to her advantage.

Bete, Tione, and Tiona watched from afar, finally noticing that Aiz was fighting alone.

"Wait... is she going to do that?" Tione murmured with a serious look as they were about to interfere to help. But then, they realized that Aiz was preparing her greatest skill, Ariel.

Quickly, her body began to be enveloped by winds swirling around her. Asterius tried to strike her, but she kept getting faster, becoming harder to track. Aiz reached a level of speed beyond what the Minotaur could respond to, and he felt a new cut on his leg. He tried to hit her from the side, but she was already on the other, hitting his back. Asterius grew enraged, roaring as he tried to strike her, but only managed to hit the ground, raising debris.

Aiz distanced herself a bit, observing him from afar, her eyes still fixed on the Minotaur. He let out a growl of pain, but remained undeterred, still able to fight without fear of the human. He looked at her seriously, raising his sword as he saw that she, too, was preparing for a direct attack.

"RUAHH!!" He roared and quickly charged at Aiz. The swordswoman, surrounded by green winds, also rushed directly towards the Minotaur, and the two met in a clash of strength a moment later.

However, Aiz was faster. She was already on the other side of him when the giant Minotaur stopped, his arm severed with a clean cut. The limb fell to the ground, severed along with his sword, and blood splattered across the floor.

"She did it!" Tiona said, surprised, looking at them.

Meanwhile, the Xenos and the Hestia Familia kept running through the streets, advancing and managing to avoid all the adventurers. Those who tried to stop them were few now, or they realized the situation was not in their favor and ran away, trying their luck, but were easily detained.

"Come on, we're almost there," Asfi said as she put on a mask to avoid being identified.

"Hey, Erebus, shrink down. The girl is already small, you don't need to stay so huge, it draws too much attention!" Gros complained to the giant, who was destroying the ground with each step.

Erebus nodded, beginning to shrink in size while carrying a small blue-haired girl on his shoulder.

"Let's go." He said with a smile, still heavy enough to crack the ground with every step, even though he was no longer twenty meters tall.

Explosions started to erupt as they glanced at what was happening nearby, with Shakti, Finn, Gareth, and Riveria fighting against Lucius.

"Should we help him?" Lyd commented.

"No, Lucius will be fine," Bell said, since the priority now was to get the Xenos back to Knossos.

And so, they continued past the battle, while Shakti observed the scene beside Finn, frowning as she saw the crowd running in the distance, returning to where they came from.

Lucius also noticed this and teleported, appearing in front of them to prevent any attempts, after all, he was their adversary.

"Finn, you don't think I'll let you walk away from our fight, do you?" Lucius said with a serious tone.

Finn clenched his teeth, knowing he couldn't deal with the strange monsters while Lucius was his opponent at that moment. His gaze shifted to Riveria.

"Riveria, cast a spell on the group!" he ordered firmly to halt their advance.

Riveria looked at the group, but her eyes fell on Lucius, who stared at her seriously. It was as if he was saying that if she did that, it would be a betrayal against him. After all, Lucius hated that kind of maneuver, especially coming from someone he loved. It would be a stab to him.

Seeing that look, Riveria hesitated. Finn noticed this, clenched his teeth again but said nothing more. Instead, he positioned himself alongside Gareth and Shakti to continue the fight.

The crowd kept moving through the slums of Orario while the adventurers tried to catch up. "This is the way we came!" Lyd exclaimed, still bleeding from his right chest but standing firm as he led the others.

"Come on, it looks like the city is going to treat us as enemies now... What do we do?" Lily murmured.

"We have no choice..." Welf, determined to keep going even if it meant being a criminal from now on, continued to run with everyone.

"Yes, that's true..." Daphne said, panting, as they ran down the corridor.

"That's why we just need to keep going..." Aisha replied firmly, while Mikoto, Ryuu, and Bell remained silent, determined to do what was necessary.

It was at that moment they came across the battle with Asterius, who had just lost an arm. Everyone stopped, and Bete and the Amazons, who were celebrating Aiz's victory, looked back and saw a group of monsters along with the Hestia Familia, as well as a woman wearing a cloak, concealing her identity.

"They are here..." Bete said in a serious tone.

"Bell... are we going to have to fight them...?" Tiona murmured.

"We have no choice. We need to get past them..." Tione declared, pointing her sword.

The Minotaur, who seemed serious, forgot his pain the moment he saw Bell among them. "The perfect opponent..." he murmured, his expression turning even more focused than on his still-bleeding arm.

"Loki Familia, you bastards! Now you're siding with monsters? You won't get past here!" Bete stepped forward, glaring at them seriously.

"..." Tiona didn't seem confident about this, after all, she still considered Bell and the others her friends, even as they stood before her alongside the monsters they had been fighting.

Tione saw the look on her sister's face and took a step forward. "Bete is right, Tiona. Today, the Hestia Familia is our enemy." She spoke in a serious tone, walking ahead and joining Bete.

Meanwhile, a huge explosion occurred in the distance, and a black hole appeared in the sky, beginning to absorb everything around it. In the fight with Lucius and the others, the members of the Loki Familia, along with Shakti, were struggling to withstand the force of the distortion created by Lucius.

Lucius appeared beside Shakti at that moment. "Let's end this," he said firmly, managing to touch her. Shakti was surprised to find herself enveloped in a blue sphere before being launched to the other side of the city in the next moment.

At that instant, Gareth appeared next to Lucius, charging at him with his speed, wielding his hammer. Lucius raised his hand to brace for the impact, feeling his bones shatter as he was struck, but he remained firm. Gareth was also enveloped in a temporal sphere created by Lucius and was sent flying to the other side of the city like a shooting star.

"That... hurt..." Lucius murmured as he used his healing magic to mend his body. His previously fractured bones returned to normal.

"This is bad... I'm expending energy every time I heal myself. Every bit of damage I take affects my mental energy..." he muttered, but stayed focused. Suddenly, a spear flew straight at him; with no other option, he took the blow on his shoulder.

Riveria was stunned to see Lucius bleeding after Finn's attack had managed to catch him just as he escaped the pressure of the gravitational sphere. The small hobbit had managed to land a hit, but Lucius quickly grabbed Finn, who had allowed himself to be hurt just to get close. Finn didn't have time to react before he was sent flying like a bullet.

"A second time..." Lucius complained as he healed himself, then teleported to the last person who hadn't attacked him from the start. His eyes were fixed on her, almost cautious, as if his heart was conflicted at that moment.

"I am still your opponent, Riveria. Even though I don't like the idea of you following your captain's orders, he's now on the other side of the city. I don't want you to hesitate to fight me. After all, we're enemies now, so don't just stand there," Lucius remarked. He knew that if Riveria didn't try to stop him, she would face serious trouble with her family, and he didn't want to make things harder for her.

Riveria understood the message, and her gaze became more resolute as she prepared to fight Lucius. The two mages, and lovers, were ready to face each other.
