Chapter 30: Chapter 30-Face Reveal!
Chapter 30
RYUU LEON
Ryuu Leon rushed out of the dungeon, her journey back made a lot easier by the healing of her wounds, and even as she ran she could feel it. The difference that her rank up had made, as she felt herself to be faster, stronger and better than before.
And even then, the injuries she had sustained prior to the rank up had made it impossible for her to face, the Ikelos familia captain and so she had been ordered to call for Inumaki-sama. And until now she had not really had the opportunity to understand her situation, to fathom that she was now a part of another familia.
Hestia familia.
But that all would come later as she blurred out of the lobby, racing through the streets of Orario, and came upon the church that she had left earlier, and as soon as she was there her feet stilled as she saw the carnage there, as dozens upon dozens of bodies lay strewn all over the area, as a few adventurers stood there, pale faced and barely holding onto their stomach contents.
"You cannot enter this is a crime scene..." one of them tried to speak up.
"She is with us," a familiar voice came in from behind, and she turned to the side and saw all her friends sitting there as a healer bandaged there wounds.
"Kaguya! Alise!" she called out both in relief and happiness as she jumped towards them, and yet their faces grim.
"What happened?" she asked.
"Inumaki-sama came back," and it was Kaguya who answered.
"And ended the whole battle singlehandedly," and that was not surprising, but the brutality was, but not to her. Nor to her friends, who while a bit affected had survived and fought through the Erbeus war, had faced the might of Alfia herself.
"He killed all of them, both Phryne Jamil and Dix Perdix," Alise added, before she pointed towards a dead body to her side, one surrounded by several adventurers, which now she recognised to be a part of the Ganesha familia.
"They also found her to be a part of the attacking group," and as her eyes narrowed at the face, she stilled as she recognsied it. It was the same face she had been asked to look into by Inumaki-kun, the face of an Evilus executive thought long dead.
"Arachina," she realised and Alise nodded.
"This confirms his suspicion," Alise added, and she knew of it as well for he had shared it with her as well.
"That this was Evilus's doing, that Ishtar and Ikelos familia was involved with that organization," and that was going to change a lot of things. For while Ikelos familia was not well known, Ishtar familia was one of the city's largest and more influential familias.
If they had links to Evilus, such direct links. It meant that Evilus was far more active and alive than they had realised.
"Are all of them really dead?" she asked, and Kaguya shook her head.
"No. He did spare a few members from the Ishtar familia, though none from the Ikelos familia made it out alive," and this would need to be investigated.
"The Guild will have to issue a statement," she added, and Alise nodded.
"Yes, they will have to," and it was only then she remembered something.
"Where is he? Inumaki-ku..." but before she could finish her question, all of them stilled as the air in the city came to a halt for a second before the ground shook, and a massive pillar of light rose into the skies, basking the city in its light.
"It couldn't be..." she gasped alongside everyone, as all of them recognised that light well.
"That has to be Ishtar," Kaguya added.
"It seems to me that the city had forgotten what it meant to go against him," and indeed, there was a reason Inumaki Herakles was so feared, and though his power and strength and pedigree all inspired fear.
The biggest reason was his ruthlessness. Unlike most adventurers, he could do the unthinkable and kill Gods with no fear.
"Indeed, they had. They may hear the rumors and the stories. But rumors and stories cannot do him justice, cannot describe this," Alise added.
"And I think this side of him was a surprise for her," and she followed her gaze and found their Goddess, the one whose falna now decorated her back, standing there and watching the light pierce the sky with a troubled and uneasy expression.
And as the light vanished, Ryuu felt the air shift as many of the Ganesha familia members perked up as Inumaki-kun appeared infront of their Goddess, his body radiating a kind of power that Ryuu could scarcely fathom, one that was no longer human.
No. This was not the power of a human.
This was arcanum, the power of a diety.
BOOOM!
And suddenly the pressure increased as the Goddess raised her hand, and Ryuu covered her eyes as power came off of him in waves, as she mouthed out the message she had been given by Loki familia captain.
"Inumaki-kun," she shouted as they all covered their eyes to shield them from the bright light infront of them.
"They said they will be waiting for your return," she shouted, and then a few seconds it all vanished.
FWOOOSH!
And there he stood infront of Hestia-sama with his eyes closed, before he opened them once more, and began to walk forward.
"I believe I have pertinent information to share," he began as he looked towards them all.
"Information regarding the mastermind behind Evilus, the identity of the one called Enyo," he finished.
"The real identity of the person called Enyo is....
"....Dinoysus," and they all gasped at those words, struck by those words as he looked directly into Alise's eyes.
"Handle the rest, Alise," and with that the ground tore up under his feet as his body vanished once more, as they all found themselves stilled by the revelation.
"It was him....."
"Dinoysus...."
And in that moment, a new chapter in Orario's history was set to begin. One that would decide not just the fate of the city, but of the world.

GODDESS FREYA
And Freya felt her heart race as she watched Inumaki's spear pierce through Ishtar's heart, and the little slivers of doubt that had ever emerged vanished as the mirror began to glow, as a pillar of light rose from the Pink district of Orario, and pierced through the skies, and the clouds.
"Beautiful...." she gasped, though not for the sight because even without her pillar, she saw much more. She saw him, standing there alone, unbothered as Arcanum rose into the skies, arcanum the power of the Gods, and yet he, a mortal, stood there basking in that power, eating it, absorbing it, and she could seldom believe that such a thing was even possible.
"I can see why you are so interested in the boy," another voice interrupted her from behind, cutting into her joy as her smile stiffened as she contemplated ending that miserable life then and there, and yet held herself back for the little use and utility he held for her in helping her obtain, the person she had desired for years—her chosen one.
"To not even falter in the face of the charm of a Goddess of beauty," the blonde fellow God added as he stepped out of the shadow, whose name had just left the lips of Ishtar, implicating and destroying the cover he had so painstakingly built in seven years.
"He really is something else," Dinoysus added, and she smiled as she nodded.
"Of course. He is my Odr after all," she answered confidently. And he would be. He was destined to be.
And if not, then she would destroy it all. This whole world.
"My secret is out now, I cannot walk into the streets now," Dinoysus lamented and he should not even be walking on this earth, but she had use of him and he lived.
"It matters not. You have recovered all the spirit seeds, have you not?" she asked sharply, and the blonde god nodded.
"I have," and that was good because she knew that her time was limited. She had at most a week to finish the preparations, that was until he returned from his expedition.
"Then make sure that everything is prepared on your end in a week's time," she ordered and the bastard chuckled.
"Haha, my whole life just ends and you do not spare even a single second for it," he asked, and her eyes narrowed as she looked into his gaze, and in a second her own presence littered the room, and not the loving and enamouring presence of caring love.
But of the opposite, of intense and ugly hate and power that made her who she was.
"Make no mistake Dinoysus," she whispered as her words reverberated across the room.
"Your life ended the day I learned that you were Enyo," she thundered as she saw him pale.
"Your life of forfeit, you now only live to serve my purpose. In other words, it is mine to do as I please," and then she whispered coldly.
"Stop breathing," and despite all the instincts in his body screaming to the contrary, she saw his breathing halt as his eyes widened, and she saw him reach for his throat as he fell to his knees.
"Breathe," she ordered and he eeked out a hungry breath as he stared into her eyes.
"Continue," she whispered as she looked down at him, and saw him beginning to breathe once more, taking in huge gulps as he stared at her in fear as her eyes lit up with that ominous hue that had just covered the Silence's heir.
"Know your place...."
"....Vermin!"

And as the Loki familia expedition cut through a horde of skeleton knights and devils on the 29th floor, Ais found herself taking a small break as she rested in the rear guard, and watched as the newly promoted adventurers tore through the monsters.
And as she watched the progress that Leyfia had made, she watched with pride as suddenly she stopped walking as Finn turned towards her.
"What happened Ais?" he questioned and unlike him she felt it. Felt him, and smiled as she turned back and looked into the distance as she mouthed out.
"He is here," she began and saw Finn's eyes widen, as a few seconds later a singular figure emerged from the darkness behind them, and she saw many of them still at the sight of him.
His Black armor was now caked in blood, much like his face, which still had smudges of blood, and she knew that not all of it was monster blood.
He walked up to them, and Ais's eyes widened as she felt the difference. His power. Iit was greater. Much greater than it had been before.
"I am sorry for being late," he whispered as he simply walked past her and towards Finn, and then leaned down and she saw him whisper into their captain's ear.
She saw Finn's eyes widen at those words before he became silent until he finally spoke up.
"I believe there has been a change of plans," he spoke loudly as his voice spread all over the corridor.
"We are going to increase our pace from this point on," he announced.
"Newcomers, I am sorry but pull back. Ais, Inumaki, take the lead," Finn ordered and with a single nod, Inumaki-kun rushed to the front, and Ais followed suit as the others stepped back.
She saw him spin his spear as he looked at the gathering hoard with a dull gaze.
"You," she got his attention as she took out her own rapier.
"You levelled up, didn't you?" she asked, seeing him raise a brow. Yet the answer was as she had expected.
"Yes, I did..." and then she saw him take a deep breath, as he passed her a message.
"I am gonna be taking the lead here," and with that, he blurred through the hoard, as Ais could scarcely follow him, as all the monsters infront of her were blown apart in a single second.
"He's grown faster," her captain Finn added as the pallum joined her as they all began to jog.
"What did he whisper into your ear?" she asked, for it must be something rather troubling that their captain had increased the speed of the expedition.
"He has figured out the identity of the man behind Evilus," and she stilled at those words.
"And it is none other than Dionysus..."
