Chapter 27: Blue-Skinned Aliens
Omen could barely contain his revulsion as the horrifying scene continued to unfold. The short, curvy girl's actions had transitioned from languid and sensual to shockingly violent. As she arched her back, her partner beneath her succumbed to the overwhelming pleasure, passing out with an almost blissful expression—Dead!
Then, her mouth monstrously expanded to an unnatural width, revealing a terrifying array of sharp teeth. Without hesitation, she clamped down and bit off a large chunk of the man's neck. His body twitched as the blood spurted from the wound, but he was already too far gone to react meaningfully. The sight was visceral and horrific, the girl's predatory instincts clear as she continued to feed on her victim.
Meanwhile, the tall curvy girl had not slowed her aggressive movements. Her movement became erratic and frantic, a disturbing contrast to the increasing speed and ferocity. The man beneath her, growing increasingly suspicious of the sudden change, barely had time to react before the sharp end of the girl's blue tail impaled his skull. The tail pierced through with brutal efficiency, emerging from his mouth and causing a bizarre display of blood and brain matter.
Even with the man's death, the girl continued her relentless rhythm, her movements mechanical and detached. She maintained her frenzied bouncing on his still-active penis. Finally, she began to eat him, starting with his head, all the while her hips continued to thrust. The distorted combination of consumption and copulation was a ghoulish affair, her actions both repulsive and mesmerizing.
From his position, Omen could see the three girls perfectly, their blue skin starkly illuminated against the night. Each girl was engaged in a surreal act of consumption, their savage instincts on full display. The violent and visceral nature of their actions was enough to unsettle even the most hardened traveller.
As Omen pondered whether to intervene or simply leave, his thoughts were interrupted by a sudden and jarring noise. The panicked scream of one of the girls pierced through the night, slicing through the eerie quiet. Instinctively, he turned to look, his senses on high alert.
The three girls had stopped their gruesome feast and were now focused entirely on him. Their glowing yellow eyes pierced through the darkness with a predatory intensity, their gaze fixed on him with unnerving precision. Despite the distance and the obscuring shadows, it was clear that they could see him as clearly as he could see them.
'Shit!' Omen's brow dripped with cold sweat. The realization that he had been discovered pushed a surge of adrenaline through him. He was aware of the desert's hazards, but this was a new level of threat…he did not want to be fucked to death!
Omen's instincts kicked in. He weighed his options rapidly: he could fight but given the monstrous nature of the blue-skinned girls, it was uncertain if he could defeat them. Alternatively, he could try to escape, using the desert's darkness to his advantage. 'but they had night vision as well!'
Omen stood his ground, a fierce determination in his eyes as he faced the three blue-skinned girls. "What are you waiting for you fucking whores?!" he shouted defiantly into the darkness. His voice echoed through the desert, carrying a tone of challenge that cut through the night.
With a swift motion, Omen unleashed his beast-summoning aura. The familiar wave of malice emanated from him, a dark energy that pulsed through the earth and reached out to all creatures nearby. The vibrations he felt through the ground told him that his aura was effective; the desert itself seemed to respond to the surge of dark energy.
The blue-skinned girls were momentarily halted by the aura's impact. Their hungry gazes faltered slightly, their eyes shifting with a mix of confusion and irritation. However, the effect of the aura was short-lived. Their primal instincts and unquenchable hunger drove them forward with renewed ferocity. They surged from the clearing, their movements a blur of speed and aggression, charging toward Omen as if he were their last hope for sustenance.
Omen's hand was poised with confident grace as the three girls charged toward him, their footsteps pounding the desert sands in frantic unison His eyes, sharp and relentless, followed their every movement. The moon's silvery light produced strange shadows on his face, emphasizing his calm and calculated demeanour in the middle of chaos.
Without warning, the ground rumbled violently beneath him. A deep, guttural roar echoed through the night, and from behind Omen, a desert wyrm erupted from the earth. Its immense form was a dark, serpentine blur against the night sky, its drilling mouth gleaming with a menacing reflection of the moon's glow.
The beast's colossal size dwarfed the four humans below, its segmented body writhing as it towered over them. The wyrm surged towards Omen with a thunderous screech that seemed to tear through the night itself. Its massive maw expanded wide to show rows of jagged, gleaming teeth. The ground split and shattered as the beast's huge body fell with horrifying speed.
As the monstrous wyrm descended, the girls' frantic attempts to escape proved futile. Their movements were paralyzed by an unseen force, leaving them frozen in terror.
[Immobilization] Omen smiled confidently; Clay's skill was finally useful for once. Then simultaneously…
[Lazer eyes]
In the chaos of the night, the desert's dark silence was shattered by a sudden, blinding flare of crimson light. Omen stood with his glowing red eyes, hidden within the tumult, and released a devastating beam of thermal energy. The beam cut through the air with lethal precision, slicing through the three girls in an instant. The fiery torrent swallowed their screams, and in the blink of an eye, blue-skinned fragments were scattered across the sand, painting the night in a grim mosaic of carnage.
As the thermal beam dissipated, the black sand fell silent. Omen emerged from the shadows; his face impassive as he surveyed the grisly aftermath.
"Wow, I did not expect that," Omen mumbled in astonishment. The laser eyes were his greatest offensive ability, but he did not anticipate it to be that powerful. He switched his focus to the Colossal Wyrm, who was debating whether or not to attack him. After all, Omen had just effortlessly slain his kind from afar; what would happen if it got any closer? Omen doubted if the creature was even capable of sight. The wyrm, gigantic and monstrous, was now the focus of his attention. It was smaller than the colossal one slain by Malek, but still a formidable adversary.
The beast stared at him for a while then suddenly drilled back into the cool, black sand, 'Good, you better run—' He celebrated too early as in an instant the creature reappeared at a different spot, its colossal form writhing and twisting as it emerged. Unbeknownst to the creature, Omen had anticipated its move, this was his second battle with a sand wyrm and this time he didn't intend to lose. He was already in position, his presence like a spectre waiting for the right moment to strike.
Omen's eyes glinted with fierce [relentless] determination as he activated his [Laser Vision] once more. With practised ease, he combined it with his [immobilization skill], infusing both techniques with the last reserves of his exogene. The air around him crackled with the surge of power.
Omen's gaze locked onto the worm, and a predatory smile curved his lips. He unleashed the red beam of his Laser Vision, its intensity was so great that the beam's colour shifted to a brilliant blue. The beam sliced through the beast's gaping, tooth-filled maw, a searing lance of energy that cut through the very essence of its monstrous form.
The blue beam, charged with lethal precision, penetrated the semi-immobilized giant worm, blasting a path through its segmented body. The beam continued its insidious path as it exploded out of the creature's neck—or what passed for its neck in the twisted strand of its form—sending a shockwave of energy that lit up the night sky. The desert landscape was bathed in an intense blue afterglow, the beam continuing its path upwards until it vanished above the cloud.
Omen stood amidst the aftermath with calm detachment, his figure framed against the eerie blue light. Around him, the remnants of the three girls lay motionless. The worm's red blood rained down in thick, dark droplets, creating a gruesome downpour that coated everything in a grim shade. The ground trembled as the massive beast collapsed, the shockwave from its fall sending ripples through the sand and shaking the very earth.
The Intense blue glow of the aftermath began to fade as Omen's exhaustion set in. He felt the weight of his drained exogene pressing down on him, a heavy burden that sapped his remaining strength. Without the energy to remain upright, he collapsed onto the black sand with a thud, his body sinking into the gritty surface.
His back hit the sand, the cool touch a stark contrast to the fiery battle he had just waged. Omen lay there, utterly spent, every muscle in his body protesting the exertion. The fight had taken everything from him—every ounce of exogene, every bit of stamina.
'This was just becoming too familiar, falling asleep amidst corpses every time after exhausting himself'
He closed his eyes, letting the darkness of exhaustion envelop him. The alien corpses and the carcass of the giant desert worm surrounded him in the eerie quiet of the desert night.
…..
Omen awoke to the desert's twilight, the fading sun casting long shadows over the scene of his recent battle. He stretched, feeling the weight of exhaustion lift as he assessed his new abilities.
"Sweet," he muttered, impressed by the bounty of skills he had acquired.
He began examining his new abilities with keen interest. Four of them were passive and automatic: [Soul attack Immunity], [Physical attack Immunity], and [Mental attack Immunity]. He pondered their origins, linking them to the three girls he had fought.
However, he was puzzled by the interaction between [Physical attack Immunity] and his [Laser Vision]. If one of them had [Physical attack Immunity], how did his beam, which he believed to be a physical attack, affect her? Or was his Laser Vision not truly a physical skill? Was it perhaps an energy-based attack? I'd have to be careful in the future regardless.
The remaining two skills were [Enhanced Durability], which would bolster his resistance to damage, and [Sand Phasing], an active skill that allowed him to phase through the sand. This new ability would be instrumental in navigating the desert terrain, offering him a tactical advantage.
With the sun setting, casting a crimson glow over the black sands, Omen took a moment to consider how to utilize his new powers best. Each skill added a new layer to his already formidable arsenal, and he was eager to test their limits.
Omen's anticipation was evident as he prepared to test [Sand Phasing], the skill he was most excited about. He stood up, his body feeling revitalized and ready for action. With a deep breath, he activated the skill.
