Chapter 12: CH: 11 A Play and A Deal?

"Knowing what it feels to be in pain, is exactly why we try to be kind to others."

-JIRAIYA, (NARUTO)

As part of this transformation, I strategically arrange for "money lying around" from time to time, creating a sense of financial ease that further contributes to her well-being. Through these calculated interventions, I strive to sculpt a healthier, more balanced life for my mother without revealing the true extent of my influence.

Time Skip.

And just like that before I knew it three months passed away today was a very special day as Marissa was prepared to be in the wild again alone.

I am sure for most this thought must have sounded like I was treating her like an animal like a thing.

And I won't blame them for thinking that way as it's not like they were wrong. In more than one way she was mine. It won't be wrong for me to say that she was my creation.

As whatever she was born with now was repealed by something much better in mortal language it's like creating your own car or your own phone.

Yes you all the parts from outside but what you made was your own and I have done something even better as now there nothing of old Marissa as to turn her into my Demi-God.

As what I have done is a complete breakdown in reforging of just about everything about her she is now at the peak of physical and mental perfection.

So I have reforged her on a molecular level. To reach the peak of what she could be. In a way she was my Wonder Woman, yes not as strong as her but I just needed to touch Diana Princess and she could be just as strong as her.

But even though she was far from perfection there was much to do, much work on her. So it won't be wrong to say she was my creation as now the only thing that hasn't changed about her is her soul. It's all untouched just like her memories.

'So she was mine.'

"Zack, honey…"

The sound of my name caught my attention, prompting me to turn my gaze towards my mother. She stood awkwardly in front of me, while I was standing on the bed.

" So much time getting to get weste, Why did I have to wear this? and… where did you even get such an expensive dress?"

Of course it was what she was implying. I rubbed my nose. Other than food, alcohol and money, the only other thing that seemed to be on my mother's mind was sex. Constantly. Repetitively. I could not count the number of times that I had heard her wake up in the middle of the night, when she thought I was fast asleep, and then make her way to the bathroom. The buzzing sound of her favorite tool and the gasps and moans would have given her away easily if her sloppy excuse for stealth hadn't. The woman would and could literally spend hours in there.

And this was time wasting for her.

I looked at her, She was in a one-piece Thigh-cut Cami Dress, the soft fabric showcasing her charming taste. The slim style accentuated her arms and legs, and the flattering ruched design added a classic and elegant touch. The dress perfectly highlighted her curves, and her flowing blonde hair added an air of casual grace to the stylish ensemble. With her beauty, she stood out even among beauties. I looked at her while styling her hair.

"Didn't I tell you this before? I've been reminding you about this since last week, and as for the dress, let's just say I bought it with money I got from some very helpful individuals." I paused, gauging her reaction. "Is something wrong with the dress?"

"Well, not exactly," she said with a hint of uncertainty, before arching an eyebrow. "It's just – It's rather unbelievable that someone would be naive enough to invest in your seemingly groundless sketches."

Raising an eyebrow in response, I genuinely hoped she wasn't insinuating what I feared.

"Woman, your son's intellect rivals Aniston and Tesla."

"Ah, but aren't you a bit young to be crafting blueprints coveted by major corporations? And where did you acquire the skills for hairstyling and dressing a woman?"

"Certainly, when your mother embodies more of a daughterly spirit, you find yourself learning things that prove helpful in nurturing and guiding very young daughters."

She rolled her eyes at me. "I just wish you 'respect your mother' rather than tell she's just being a spoiled brat."

"It's not happening unfortunately The requirement states that I'd need a mother actually worthy of respect"

Eva made an exaggerated clutch at her chest, and I merely shook my head and ignored her dramatics. I continue to brush her hair putting the pins in the right places.

Technically, I had never lied to my mother. Even when it was for her own good, I would generally use half-truths and misdirection than telling an explicit lie. It was not my fault if she did not choose to believe the truths I told her, however exotic and far-fetched it sounded.

"You know, I am kind of worried about how morbid your imagination is getting worse," she moved over as she fixed the hair on the left side of her face. "I mean, a woman who worked for a big medical firm saw your weird drawing and told you her company would buy it for a big chunk sounds too much to be true? That's a little out even for you my little Zacky."

I shrugged.

"You forgot the part where I told you how she approached me in the middle of your 'work'."

Eva rolled her eyes. "It's a very believable story."

"Exactly. It matters not whether you believe; you will follow me, woman," I declared resolutely. "Doom will not be denied."

She sighed. "Yes, yes, your fixation on this new role play is escalating beyond bounds. Somehow, I feel your mental gymnastics are partly my doing, and your head is teetering on the edge of slightly messed up – and that's slightly my fault."

I gave her a long, piercing stare.

"Okay, maybe more than just slightly."

The stare continued.

"Fine, fine, it's entirely my fault! Jeez! Stop with the staring already." She tossed a hairbrush in my direction, which I effortlessly dodged anime-style with a slight tilt of my head.

"One thing I don't understand is why you chose such a dress, Zikky," she remarked as I finished styling her hair, pointing at the outfit. "It's quite revealing, considering you practically overhauled my entire wardrobe for being too revealing."

"I simply wanted to see you in genuinely sexy attire, not just those outright revealing clothes. You're about to meet someone with a high position in the corporate world, so presenting yourself well is crucial. After all, the first impression is often the lasting one."

" Zacky, Mmm, I suppose. But why do you even need me? I'm sure you could handle them much better than me, considering my expertise in only one thing – being a slu…"

I stopped her before she completed her words "Didn't I tell you many times before you shouldn't be speaking such words in front of kids? As for why we'll it's simpler than dealing with money and I'm done with the deal you just had to sign the deal you know being a toddler I can't do such deals without a guardian's presence."

I interrupted her before she could utter another word. "Haven't I emphasized countless times that you shouldn't use such words in front of your kid? Now, as for the why, it's straightforward. I should be taking craps in my pants and sucking off your nipple rather than delving into financial dealings. I'm done with deals. You just had to sign it, you know. Being a toddler, I can't navigate these negotiations without a guardian's presence. It's illegal"

"Hahahahhahahah hahaha hahaha hahaha," she burst into laughter the moment the word 'illegal' escaped my lips. "You know, it's been so long since I heard the word 'illegal.' Now, let's proceed carefully; after all, my little Zacky's future is on the line," Ava said with a bitter smile on her face.

I sighed and embraced her, and with a heartfelt conversation, we embarked on the journey. As it was a holiday, the roads were bustling with people, and every passerby couldn't resist glancing back at us—or should I say, at her.

Our journey remained tranquil, with Ava lost in her thoughts. I chose not to disturb her, allowing her the space to contemplate. Slowly, I assumed the role of a therapist, aiding her in releasing the trauma she harbored. I believed in mending her without solely relying on my powers. I can fix her. While I didn't possess extensive knowledge about her past, I harboured confidence that one day, the complete story would unfold, and that day wasn't too distant.

"We are here," I announced as I gently tugged Ava's hand, the same hand she was holding. The sudden motion snapped her out of her reverie, and she glanced ahead to see a grand 4-star cafe. She hadn't anticipated meeting at such an upscale venue, but given her substantial contributions, she didn't dwell on it much and proceeded to walk inside.

Nobody attempted to hinder us; it was more that they couldn't resist stealing glances at Ava. Paying no mind to the onlookers, we strolled inside. The receptionist greeted us warmly and promptly guided us to a table positioned towards the rear of the restaurant. It was a serene spot, with fewer tables contributing to the overall quiet ambiance.

Ava's expression shifted when she realized our seat was tucked away in the depths of the restaurant, a subtle change hinting at suspicion. Her grip on my hand tightened, and I couldn't help but smile. What she didn't know was that this secluded area was intentionally designed for those seeking a quieter atmosphere. While there were private rooms available, I chose this spot to eliminate any shadows of doubt and to maintain her trust.

Applying a gentle force, Ava followed, and our steps led us to an exceptionally beautiful lady engrossed in her tablet wearing extremely expensive clothes. As soon as she noticed our approach, a radiant smile adorned her face. Turning her attention toward me, the smile broadened, and then she shifted her gaze to Ava. Rising from her seat, she walked graciously towards us.

"Ah, you must be the mother of this little genius," the gorgeous lady greeted my mother with a warm smile. Ava appeared momentarily speechless, her gaze traveling from top to bottom as she appraised the lady.

It was the same with the lady, they both gazed at each other in complete silence before I coughed and Ava came out of her trance.

"Hi, I'm Ava. Yes, I am the mother of this little brat," Ava introduced herself quickly, her words interspersed with a slight shudder.

"Yes, I've heard a lot about him. I'm Marissa, the owner and CEO of *********. It's not the biggest company, but we're improving every day," Marissa explained.

Ah, she was my per, and all this was just a play for my dear mother.

We all took our seats, and the first thing Ava did was grab the menu to order her favorite food, then she handed me the menu. With a sigh, I also ordered a chocolate ice cream.

Once the waitress collected our orders and walked away, a silence settled over the table again.

Soon, Marissa opened her bag and extracted paper after paper until a sizable stack lay in front of my mother.

"As you may have gathered from my liaison, Victor, my company is fully prepared to exclusively acquire Victor's blueprint. Victor has already thoroughly reviewed the documentation and engaged with our legal team. Now, as his legal guardian, your role is crucial in finalizing this transaction. Signing these documents will signify the commencement of our first exchange and future cooperation," she explained.

She gracefully unveiled a small suitcase, revealing an abundance of $100 bills. "This will constitute our initial payment, a substantial $100,000, and for every copy sold, you'll be entitled to $1000 in Royalties," she declared, emphasizing the professional and customary language associated with business dealings. "This signifies not just a transaction but a lasting partnership built on the success of Victor's groundbreaking work."

My mother seemed momentarily oblivious to Marissa's words after the suitcase filled with bills was revealed. Her eyes widened further upon hearing the substantial amount mentioned.

Sorry about the small chapter, it's just I am not in perfect health myself.
