Dc: start in Young Justice

[Mount Justice, September 22]

[3rd POV]

Superboy was in the garage making out with Megan till Sphere came to disturb them or what they later found out to be, to warn them from a slightly overbearing speedster in yellow, they kept talking and working on Superboy bike and later on Aqualad joined them in the talk. They were having good time together while Robin and Artemis are at school.

Untill they heard the alarms and Zane's voice over the coms. "Everyone into position this is not a test we have uninvited guests coming i repeat this is not a test we have enemies approaching our position get ready and meet me outside to intercept them before getting too close ASAP."

Without wasting any second they sprang to action readied themselves and went directly outside to meet with Zane and see who their supposed 'guests' are.

[Couple of minutes before]

Zane was infront the monitor looking at all the latest missions and reports the team has gone to or done and any other informations he can find there in the database, while on another screen there was a big map showing various key places. Red Tornado left not long ago to go to the Watchtower to give time to Dinah and Arrow wirh their 'intimate time' and Zane knew today will get more fun and he will get to have some action and new power too so he kept his senses working the best he could, he spread his hearing as far as he could and while acting as if he was investigating some reports on the computer he was actually looking outside focusing his eyes to look as far as possible all while adapting and getting more used to it.

Till his ears caught the voice of air crackling, or not really crackling per se it was the sound that happen when the air got hotter and he could also hear the sound of water moving like when you put your hand inside a pound and move it slowly and that was all the signs he needed to bring his eyes in that position and see what he was waiting for.

So he turned the coms on and relayed a message to the Team to get ready.

Robin was really having fun teasing Artemis at the moment, seeing her panicked and trying to distract him with a story that was an apparent lie, while he wasn't really impressed he was having fun nonetheless, he wondered how her reaction will be when he showed her the picture he took today, he was sure it will be a blast.

So without further ado he went in the phone booth to teleport to the cave and Artemis right behind him, looking at the frozen Robin before her she got confused and followed his gaze and got to see something... shocking? weird? she didn't know, she saw the team there soaked wet from head to toe deep in thoughts, standing a bit beside Zane who looked as dashing and pristine as ever while taking apart what looked like Red Tornado she was terrified for a moment till she noticed another red slightly look alike tornado but in female form close to the one being taken apart by Zane

She came back to her senses right after she heard Robin slowly asking:

" What just happened?"

This got Wally who was drying his hair with a towel to look at them awkwardly and says: "Well...

( Flashback )

The team rushed outside fast finding Zane in the air in his suit they first met him in with a mask attached to it aside from Megan who he showed it to after she gave him the organic cloth he asked for. Which she liked very much as it looked slightly like hers but in black.

Soon they heard him say:" Don't get schocked at what you will see and keep your heads in the game they are not friendly guests they are our targets so be careful"

While they got a bit confused at his words but looking how focused his eyes are and hearing the serious note he is talking in, it was different from what he normally looked like when training or talking with them they can say this is the first time since they met they saw his expression like that, so they understood this was not a joke and a serious battle is going to happen.

And soon they understood what he meant because they did indeed felt confused and schocked for a second but remembering what he just said they refocused and took their positions, in front of them flew two familiar but unfamiliar red androids one female-looking one on fire and the other if not for the water he is producing and the lack of the cape and different symbol on his chest they would have thought it was Red Tornado himself.

"I will take the fire one, you take care of the other one" they heard Zane say not giving them time to react before he flew very fast toward the female android on fire, collided with her and kept flying with her high away from their position.

What ensued next was them facing a hard water controling enemy that Aqualad and Megan felt grateful for Zane that they were not facing the fire one.

While water for Aqualad was normally a good thing but he was not feeling in his element right now it was even worse that the mountain was surrounded by water which the android used freely as he wanted so non of his attack was working on him and the only thing he can do is redirect his attack a bit to make room for his teammates.

Wally kept running and trying to get closer to  the flying android hoping that someone can bring him down already, and that was what Superboy was trying to do and failing for the last couple of minutes, every time he jumped or got close he will either get throwed away by water or encased in it, if not for Megan who was assisting on all front he would have been already drowning.

The team kept at that for what felt like hours, but it was only around 10-15 minutes really if not shorter, just when they thought they have to find a better plan to finish this a hand came from the chest of the android shutting him down. That's when they finally noticed Zane standing behind the android holding the other female one on his shoulder looking down smiling at them like he always does. "Good job team it's good you're all still standing, sorry for taking my time i got a little excited while fighting firefly here."

The team could only look at him exasperated and just dropped down smiling slightly at his behavior.

"Come on let get back so you could dry yourself while we can see what to do with Tornado's friendly siblings." Zane told them and just flew back to the cave while they followed a bit later behind him and saw him on screen talking with Tornado and telling him about his 'siblings' wich earned a laugh from kid Flash, getting closer all they could hear before the call shut off was Zane telling him to not come close and send someone else. Which again got them confused. Till he continued forth with his explanation.

Wally decided to take the lead and ask:" So... what did Tornado say about his siblings coming without giving a call first acting all friendly like they were?"

Zane looked at him smirked and answered: "Well apparently daddy Red went playing around making other babies behind Tornado's back" then went to the table to look at the Androids.

Wally just rolled on the ground from laughing, the others couldn't help but to join him in the laugh Aqualad after calming down decided to take his role as a leader and talk to Zane about the incident" i couldn't help but hearing you telling Red Tornado to stay away from here and that they are here for him what do you think is the reason for that Zane? And what is the relation between this attack and Mr.Twister?"

Zane kept inspecting the two Android on the table where he set them and answered without looking back "Hm... the reason can range from a simple family gathering to reprogram him, neutralize him, take something from him or anything else. While they may present a decent challenge to him and will be able to overpower him eventually if he faced the two alone without any help, it's still not enough to take him down, so they are probably hiding something."

"They were really unlucky to choose today to attack since Red Tornado is not here" said Megan

"And that exactly is the concerning part" said Zane furrowing his brows a bit.

"And why is it concerning?" "Yeah shouldn't that be a good thing?" asked Superboy and Wally equally confused.

Aqualad furrowed his brows a little bit too hearing that but soon he realized something and asked: " You don't believe it to be a coincidence right?" Everyone looked at Aqualad slightly surprised then turned back to Zane.

Who smiled a bit and said: "Maybe it is maybe not, but what are the chances they decided to attack exactly the day he was not here and how did they know. But it doesn't matter anyway so let's figure it out shall we?" After that Zane started taking apart the male Android and looking inside it inspecting it closely.

It was at this moment the zeta-tube announced Robin and Artemis arrival.

[Zane POV]

The fight was fun, if you can call it a fight anyway. After bringing Red Inferno away enough from the team and throwing her away she just kept attacking me with her fire, i allowed her to hit me and i have to say the fire was hot i could feel my skin heating and the slight burning on my flesh, it didn't hurt much and my body adapted fast and my healing worked even faster till it didn't affect me anymore.

I flew toward her and engaged in fighting closely, the metal she's made of whas really hard and durable not that i was giving it my all just enough to not break her apart all while copying her power, her punches doen't affect me much if she's even able to land a hit.

You know those martial arts knowledge in my head are not for show, i may have not yet practiced them all like those who normally train for years and my fighting insticts and muscle memory are not as sharp as them but i did train them in my mind.

Telepathy is not just about organizing the mind and reading thoughts i trained in my mind everyday on several things, martial arts and how to use my power and be creative with them i watched how the League faced against Amazo and analyzed every move they did and learnt them and how to face against them, i watched hundred of moves, techniques and all sort of stuff not just from them but from Tv, internet and books and wherever i can look i looked, i fought simulations in my head i even recreated the fight against Amazo but instead of him being the enemy it was me, and training with the team and Dinah is slowly bringing me to the point of perfection in term of fighting instincts and muscle memory, the only reason i might make a mistake is just because my body is not yet used to the moves yet.

After the copying finished i just decided to end things here, there is another one waiting for me down too. I just dodged the sea of fire she launched at me and sped to her, before she can punch me my fist was already in her chest where her source of power was, slightly taking it away and she fell motionless into my arm.

I inspected the core a bit, then her again it's really weird her fire power are still there but something is wrong it's in both her and the power source but they won't work unless they are one and the same way i can't copy it from her body unless the core is inside really fascinating this Morrow, cant wait to meet him.

I looked down at the fight between Torpedo and the team and went down closer without them noticing me, they are doing fine, it's honestly not a fair fight if they were against a human they might win but against an emotionless android not so much, and the absence of Robin technological expertise and Artemis versatile arrows just made them a bad match, Superboy may have fared better against inferno as he can resist her fire a bit but the rest not so much atleast against Torpedo they won't get physically hurt. Two minutes later the copy of Torpedos power was finished and it's time to help them, so without anyone being able to react to my speed i blitzed toward him and baam a fist in his back the same as Inferno.

"Zane to watchtower, is someone there it's important" after i arrived in the cave i went and put the two Androids on a table nearby and went to make a call to the League.

"This is Red Tornado, speak" The face of Red Tornado is what greeted me.

"Ah Red exactly the guy i wanted, or android yeah the cave was about to get under attack, but everything got solved beside some slight damage to the surroundings outside, everyone is okay nothing serious, as for our guests Red you didn't tell us anything about welcoming your siblings"

"I was not aware of having any" Tornedo answered after a little pause.

"Yeah well congratulations you have a brother and a sister your brother was as smooth as water but your sister had a fiery attitude if you get what i mean"

"Hahaha, good one" laughed Wally entering the cave.

"Anyway i want you to contact the rest and tell them about it and i don't want you anywhere near them do you get me?"

"Is there a reason i shouldn't be close?"

"Yeah i have a hunch that they are connected, i didn't inspect them yet but if they are here for what i think they are here for, then their target was you and i suspect some fishy thing might happen if you get close so until they are clean it's better you stay far away from them."

"Noted, i will inform the league and they will decide what to do, Red Tornado is out"

After that I inspected the two androids and looked inside them with X-Ray visions analysing and studying them then I started to take Torpedo apart to reach his memory, I already know where Morrow is but i can't just say i know so let's extract all the information from his head shall we, but first i will remove this electromagnetic transmitter, it act like kinda of a virus when Tornado touch them it will activate and send an electromagnetic pulse which kinda reboot Tornado or return him to the control of Morrow's reprogram in the transmitter.

I vibrate my hand very fast and stuck it in Inferno and take the one in her out. Then i turn to look at Robin who's feeling weird seeing me dismantling a look alike Tornado and throw the two transmitter at him and say:" Hey Robin glad you are here can you please help me by deactivating these two? Thank you"

While Robin got his hands on the transmitter and started working Kid flash arrived closer to him and asked:" hey what do they do?"

After inspecting them close for a bit and figuring what they do Robin's eyes shot open in shock seeing the eyes on him he hurried to explain:" These are electromagnetic brainwave transmitters, and from what you just told us happen, Zane is right because the moment Red Tornado touch anyone of them he will be taken control of and turn against us" now it's everyone else turn to exclaim in shock.

Aqualad turned slightly to Zane who's holding one of the now entirely opened android heads connecting it to the computer and  then typing fiercely. And then several thing showed themselves on screen and along them a map with a location marked on it.

Looking at the amazed look on their faces i can feel slightly proud and happy at what i am able to do in this life, i just dismantled a highly advanced android hacked it removed any kind of tracking or hearing device inside or any viruses that can infect the base data then connected it to it and searched for all the memory it had for Morrow place and put it on display.

I smiled a bit and said:"Yo guys are you ready for an improvised mission?"

They looked at me, at the screen and again at me till Aqualad asked:" what kind of a mission are we talking about exactly?"

I explained:" You know that they are made by Morrow right Robin?" he nodded and i continued :"then guess who found him?" I said with a smirk " and unless we go and catch him now he will escape, i can go alone but thought it's better to give you this opportunity so what do you think?" They looked at each other smiled then looked back at me and we started moving.

[Teton County]

Morrow and his assistant/sidekick Bromwell Stikk were running around packing all the data they need after Morrow got to know that his two 'children' have been compromised. Before he had everything secure and ready to go out the Team plus Zane were already there.

"Well team way to a good mission, was easy but could have gone wrong in so many way but i do have a question" after we arrived before Morrow and Stikk could escap we already had them, they both surrendered instantly knowing there is nothing they can do, so while the team is finishing comprehending them and Aqualad is making a call to the League i am facing Morrow or android morrow atleast." What with you and androids?"

"I only want to prove that i can build the perfect son who can destroy you heroes but it all failed because of You, who are you? I had no information about you"

"Ah that was not what i am talking about" i said the moved my hand toward his neck and clutched it and lifted him out of the ground and started to squeeze everyone watched in horror as his neck kept scrunching and making noise while Morrow was yelling as if he is in pain and before the team could shout my name to stop i crushed his neck and let him fall to the ground making everybody see him.

"Oh man, you had me there for a second dude don't do that again" said Wally clutching his chest to calm his beating heart.

"Always keep you eyes sharp and your head open against your targets" i said looking at Superboy than Megan.

Then i turned to Stikk who was shaking in fear "so Mister Stikk or do you prefer Twister, where is the real Morrow?" I said menacingly as possible and it worked perfectly fine especially with me wearing a mask and showing him my hand that was around the fake neck a second ago.

Even if he said nothing i already read his mind in this short time that all that happened and did him the same as Ivo, soon we moved back and found Morrow on his bed breathing but very hard with medical equipments all around him and i did the same to him too then waited for the league to come.

While waiting i was looking around and looking at all the data on his computer, the man indeed was a genius sadly his idea only worked better if his "children" were to be the good guys not the other way around irony at its finest if you ask me, he wants to create something to face them but end up creating something to join them and making them stronger if that not ironic i don't know.

I found everything about Red Volcano he is semi-finished only need some finishing touch in design and the memory transplant and you're good to go, i obviously stole his power. The ability to shake the volcanoes awake if got in the wrong hands could cause a lot of damage so no thank you, now i am an avatar.

I observed deeply what happened after i stole the power permanently and with Morrow's expertise i finally get how it works and how the body and power source are related it's actually so genius yet so simple, ofcourse simple for Morrow and me to understand but it's too complicated to actually explain.

In simple terms that everyone can understand it's like the power core do exactly that provides the body with the power to move or function and the body is the one having the meta-power, it's like stamina for a human without stamina you will be so exhausted you can stop breathing and fall till you get it back even meta-human need stamina to activate their power but the difference for humans if i steal their power i steal it from their meta-gene which also act as kind of 'stamina' source which is not the case for the android so when i stole his power he simply died, he is just a shell now and will never function but can be used as body parts. This Morrow is as genius as evil do you know what one need to do to discover all this? Poor souls...

[Mount Justice]

Here we are again this time Batman is here along with Red Tornado who we told it's safe and he can come back and other leaguers.

"I say check their programming, return it to the original and let them join the league, maybe you can make a team Tornado, call it the Red siblings or something, you can help each other understand about humans and humanity as you wanted" Tornado looked at me as if he found another lost sibling of his while Batman only glared. We are talking about what do with the two red siblings well they are talking i just joined in.

"Wait from what i am understanding, you volunteered to be the denmother to understand more about humanity?" said Robin

"And you couldn't do that in the league with how st... serious they are" said Wally correcting himself after noticing the leaguers gazes

"So the cave is not only a ground for us but for you too" said Aqualad

Tornado finally decided to answer and said: "i do not know how accurate these words are but perhaps they are true, and if i understand the term correctly i believe i have come to... care about you"

I smiled a bit and left them to decide whatever they wanted and keep their conversation to themselves it's good that they covered that part, they are coming along fine. I can feel your gaze Batman, and i don't care.

"WE KNOW YOU CARE TOO ZANE" yelled Wally from behind i didn't need to see to know the others where nodding at that too. I just waved my hand not looking back and kept walking.

I still heard him say this tho:"Damn does he have to be cool in everything he does."
