Chapter 1: The Void is me, The End is me, The Nether is me,I…am The OVERWORLD
"Finally, after months of trying to finish all the achievements in this game i finally did it…in hardcore mode hahahahaah i am the greatest" Feng said outloud, he was currently playing minecraft and he has finally done the last achievement in the game, on the screen his character had orange block hair and a crown, behind him was an accessory commonly known as a cape with the picture of a withe on it and he was equipped in full enchanted Netherite.
"Ah finally, i can rest huh wait noo?!" But unfortunately, for some unknown cosmic reason…he was blown up by a creeper despite being in full enchanted netherite, he was also in a hardcore mode.
"Months of grueling…forever gone…you know what fuck it?! i am going to bed" Feng didn't care anymore, he got on his bed and immediately fell asleep.
But he forgot ti switch off the computer, it glitched as some words appeared on the screen.
[The Void is me,The End is me,The Nether is me,I…am The OVERWORLD]
And with that declaration, a flash of white light consumed Feng.
Rest in peace feng, you will be remembered…partially.
Now in another particular Omnirandom Universe, on top of a large building, an ominous structure that looked like triangular frame and from it fell out a young man with orange hair,a crown on his head and a cape with a realistic wither on it.
"Ughh my head hurts" The man who looked to be twenty(Which he actually is) stood up and dusted his long red coat
and adjusted the golden crown resting slightly askew on his head. His eyes, once accustomed to the soft glow of a computer screen, now widened at the sprawling, unfamiliar cityscape before him.
"Wait, is that a bird, is that a plane, No it's motherfucking superman, wait did i get transported into dc?!,
"No, no, no… This can't be happening. I was just playing Minecraft!" Feng looked around, panic rising in his chest. The towering skyscrapers, the distant roar of speeding cars, and the unmistakable sight of Superman flying past confirmed his worst fear.
"I'm actually in the DC Universe." He rubbed his temples, trying to process the absurdity of the situation. "Okay, calm down, Feng. Think. You've read the comics, you've watched the movies. You know how this world works. Villains, heroes, and—oh god, Darkseid. Why am I here?"
A sudden gust of wind blew past him, causing his cape to flutter dramatically behind him. He glanced down at himself, realizing that his Minecraft avatar's appearance had become his own.
But….there is a slight problem, all his items are gone…but he could still acess the minecraft screen and create a new minecraft world to gain new resources , the portal behind him collapsed.
leaving him stranded in this world with nothing but his wits and whatever abilities he could bring forth from his strange new connection to Minecraft.
Feng took a deep breath, steadying his nerves as he opened his inventory screen with a mere thought. Nothing. No Netherite armor, no enchanted tools, no resources. Just the empty grid staring back at him.
"Great. I'm in one of the most dangerous universes ever, and I'm broke," Feng muttered, glancing around at the city. "At least I didn't spawn in Gotham. Small mercies."
As he mentally navigated the Minecraft menu, he stumbled upon something new—a tab labeled 'World Interface.' Curious, he tapped it. A holographic menu materialized before him, offering two options:
[Create New World]
[Integrate with Existing World]
"Nope i don't want lucifer or the Darkest Knight on my ass, hell the presence might have already replicated my existence in countless worlds by now" As he said that he clicked the create new world button and then placed it in survival mode.
After he did that, a small pixelated rift appeared in front of him. "Neat, welp it's time to go grind"
A he stepped into the rift, it closed behind him leaving metropolis to its distant chaos.
"Huh…why is everything realistic, it looks like a shader…well the blocks are still blocks and the mobs are still blocks as well, they just have more of a realistic texture".
Well he got to the basics, punched a few trees, made a wooden pick and Axe, then mind for some stone, he then made a stone pick and axe. The he did what all minecraft players would do if they wanted to make a small base, he then excavated half a oak forest, then he started excavating the ground until it was flat.
After his inventory became almost full, he made a double chest and dumped all his gathered resources inside. "Okay, basic supplies: check. Shelter: next on the list," Feng muttered, glancing around his newly flattened area.
He looked up at the pixelated sun, already beginning its slow descent. "Crap, night's coming. And I really don't want to deal with creepers again, especially not here."
Feng quickly crafted a crafting table and placed it beside his chest. "Alright, let's make this quick." With practiced efficiency, he crafted some torches using wood for charcoal, then placed them around the perimeter to keep the mobs at bay.
Next, he began building a small wooden hut—nothing fancy, just enough to survive the first night.
"Well i didn't make a bed…oh well i'll just go mining and atleast make iron armor
before the mobs show up."
With a torch in hand, Feng ventured toward a cave entrance he had spotted earlier. The jagged mouth of the cavern yawned open, and a faint breeze carried the unmistakable sound of water dripping inside.
"Okay, just a regular cave," Feng reassured himself, stepping cautiously inside. The dim torchlight cast flickering shadows on the pixelated walls, making them appear far more ominous than they should have.
He chipped away at a few coal veins near the entrance and crafted additional torches. As he ventured deeper, the familiar sound of clinking bones echoed through the cave.
"Skeleton," he whispered. "Of course."
With no armor and only a stone sword, Feng readied himself. He peeked around a corner to spot a lone skeleton, its blocky form standing guard near a cluster of iron ore.
"I need that iron. Sorry, bony, you're going down."
He darted forward, the skeleton's hollow eyes locking onto him. It drew its bow, but Feng was faster. He dodged the first arrow and swung his sword, chipping away at the mob's health. Another swing, and the skeleton crumbled into a pile of bones and arrows.
"Still got it." Feng quickly mined the iron and placed it in his inventory. "Alright, now we're getting somewhere."
He continued mining deeper, gathering more iron, coal, and even stumbling upon a small vein of gold. After a while, his inventory was filling up, and he decided it was time to head back to the surface.
As he approached the cave entrance, Feng caught sight of a zombie shambling toward him. Its realistic, decaying skin was far more unsettling than the pixelated version he was used to.
"Nope. Not tonight." He sprinted past it and emerged back into the open air.
The pixelated moon hung high in the sky, casting a faint glow over his temporary base. He rushed to his crafting table and smelted the iron, crafting a full set of iron armor and a new iron sword.
"Alright. Armor: check. Sword: check." He stretched, the iron clinking softly as he moved. "Now, let's build something better than that wooden hut."
He spent the rest of the night expanding his shelter, using oak wood and stone to construct a modest but sturdy cabin. He added windows, a proper door, and even a small farm plot outside.
As dawn broke, Feng stood on the roof of his new home, surveying the pixelated landscape. "Okay, I've got a base, resources, and a plan. I'll leave the world for now, i want to explore Metropolis and probably sell this smelted gold for some money."
"I wonder how much a stack of gold ingots would go for in a world like this?" Feng mused, glancing at the freshly smelted gold bars in his inventory. "Probably enough to get me started."
He opened his Minecraft interface and saved his current world, watching as the pixelated landscape faded away. The rift reopened, and Feng stepped through, back into the towering, bustling city of Metropolis.
The contrast between the blocky simplicity of the Minecraft world and the sleek, futuristic metropolis was jarring. Cars zoomed past on the streets below, and holographic advertisements flickered across skyscrapers.
"Alright, time to figure out how to turn these virtual gold ingots into actual cash." He strolled down the street, the iron armor now stored in his inventory, replaced by a casual outfit conjured from the Minecraft crafting menu. His crown and cape, however, remained—too iconic to ditch.
As he wandered through the city, he noticed a jewelry store displaying various gold and diamond items in the window. Feng's eyes lit up."Perfect. Let's see if they'll buy some 'pure' gold."
He entered the store, and a chime announced his arrival. The shopkeeper, a middle-aged man with a neatly trimmed beard, looked up from behind the counter.
"Good morning," the shopkeeper greeted. "Looking for something special?"
Feng smiled. "Actually, I'm looking to sell." He reached into his inventory and pulled out a single gold ingot, placing it on the counter with a soft thud.
The shopkeeper's eyes widened. "Is that… gold?"
"Yep. Pure gold," Feng replied nonchalantly. "Got a few more if you're interested."
The man picked up the ingot, examining it closely. "This… this is incredible. It's flawless." He glanced at Feng suspiciously. "Where did you get this?"
"Family heirloom," Feng lied smoothly. "I'm looking to sell it for cash. Are you interested or not?"
The shopkeeper hesitated for a moment before nodding. "I can offer you $1,500 for this bar."
Feng raised an eyebrow. "For one ingot? You've got a deal." He casually pulled out another five ingots and set them on the counter. "Let's make it a bundle."
The shopkeeper's jaw dropped. "I… I need to get more cash from the back."
Feng waited patiently as the man disappeared into a back room. "If this works, I'm gonna be loaded," he thought, already imagining the possibilities.
A few minutes later, the shopkeeper returned with a large envelope of cash. "Here you go. $9,000 for the lot."
Feng took the envelope, a satisfied grin on his face. "Pleasure doing business." He tucked the money into his inventory and left the shop, stepping back into the bustling street.
"Alright, first objective complete. I've got money. Now…" Feng glanced up at the sky, where a red blur zipped across the skyline. "…it's time to explore this city properly."
As he walked down the street, he passed by a newspaper stand. The headline on the front page caught his attention:
"LexCorp Announces New Energy Initiative: Is Metropolis Ready?"
Feng frowned. "LexCorp, huh? Might be worth keeping an eye on that. Where Lex goes, trouble usually follows."
Tucking the thought away for later, he continued exploring, his mind already planning his next move. "Step one: get money. Step two: figure out how to survive this universe. Step three: find out if I can bend reality with this Minecraft interface and maybe just maybe become the most OP person in Metropolis."
"Wait i could just go creative mode in my minecraft wirld and get rich real quick and also become OP" He said with a grin on his face.
[Creative Mode is for experimentation and Entrapment, you cannot bring items from creative mode into reality]
And thus his plan was utterly ruined.
