Chapter 29

After waking up the next day, Mark pulled up his Status Page interface and planned to distribute his stat points before working out and breaking his fast. He earned a total of thirteen stat points and he was sure that its effect on his body would be great. He added two points each to Strength, Vitality, Agility, and Dexterity binging them from six points to eight points. He added one point to Intelligence and four points to Wisdom bringing them up from fifteen points to sixteen points and fifteen points to nineteen points respectively. The new base additional stats without the items brought his HP to two hundred and forty and MP to three hundred and eighty. Mark also noticed that when he hit level fifteen, the damage multiplier of his Intelligence increased to one from point twenty five.

Mark was quite happy with his new stats and stood up from his bed, vitalized. He fixed his bed and thoroughly cleaned it by putting it on his Inventory and using his skill Inventory Item Restoration. He also decided to spend his skill points after working out and eating since he was quite sure that the time he would spend on it was going to be extensive.

After working out, Mark checked his new weight and was happily surprised that it actually went down from one hundred and ninety pounds to one hundred and seventy. He was quite sure that even if he was not exercising, his weight would probably go down to his body’s ideal due to his stat points. Instead of taking weeks as he had expected, it was only taking days. A week more and he will achieve his one hundred and fifty pound goal. He only wished that the increase in his stats would also increase his height or maybe gain a skill that would add inches to it. After checking his weight he went outside to eat and purchase some new clothes to wear that would fit him. After four hours of shopping and collecting high quality meals to store in his inventory, Mark went back home and decided to spend his skill points.

At the time Mark got back home, he kept all the new clothes on his wardrobe and store his favorite set on his inventory so he can replicate it anytime. It was basically just new shirt, pants and underwear plus comfortable shoes that he could wear under his combat items. He then focused all of his attention on his skill tree tab.

The first skill that he would like to put a point into was Tree Golem so he added two points to Bush Golem since Tree Golem required three points on it then added a point to Tree Golem. The Skill Bush Golem now had sixty MP cost with two hundred HP. The duration was still thirty minutes and there were still just two golems. The Tree Golem also summoned two golems that looked like living trees at fifty MP cast cost with two hundred HP. The duration was also thirty minutes. The next one he would like to get was a skill that could cure disease and ailment just in case he needed a skill that can cure cancer or some such other diseases and that was Dryad’s Circle. So he added one point to Floating Sunflower and it brought it up to from level two to level three and then he put two points to Bed of Daisies since Dryad’s Circle required two points on it and Bed of Daisies required three to Floating Sunflower. Once he met all the requirement, he added a point to Dryad’s Circle. Level three Floating Sunflower had an MP cost of twenty five with the same twenty second duration but the MP restoration increased to twenty five per second for the whole duration. Bed of Daisies level two had a twenty five MP cost, twenty second duration and has an area of effect of twenty by twenty feet. When summoned, it would look like a field of daisies suddenly grew from the ground. It gave five HP and MP regeneration per second for the whole twenty second duration and finally Dryad’s Circle level one had an MP cost of twenty five that would summon a thirty by thirty area of illusionary copse of trees with a dryad guardian that gave five HP and MP per second for the twenty seconds that it was active and whoever inside it will receive detoxification and cure for all of their diseases and ailments.

While sitting on his kitchen chair where he usually use his laptop, Mark summoned Dryad’s Circle to check it out and a magical forest suddenly grew on his surroundings. The growth of the copse of trees was seamless and illusionary so it did not actually affect the furniture. After a few seconds when the copse was fully grown, the actual twenty second duration started and his kitchen looked so magical. He then heard a female laughter and he could see an illusionary dryad hiding on the trees looking at him laughing. He started feeling so good like every out of sort on his body was suddenly gone. Mark thought that maybe he had a disease or ailment that he had not known and now it was cured. All the soreness from his battle and workout were gone and he was sure that if he had any diseases like HIV or cancer, they would be gone by now. Mark laughed and thought about himself being a virgin meant that the only way for him to get HIV was to get them from his imaginary waifus. After the spell duration, the copse of trees disappeared with the lingering laughter from the dryad.

Mark then turned his attention to the Space and Void Chancellor job section. He added two points to Lightning Void bringing it up to three since it was the requirement for Void Storm which would add more area of effect skill to his offensive repertoire. Level three Lightning Void had a thirty MP cost with three hundred piercing damage at seventy feet range and level one Void Storm had a hefty fifty MP cost but with a large fifty by fifty feet area of effect at seventy feet casting range and had two hundred damage. He immediately went to the First Floor of the dungeon to test it out. When he cast it, it looked like he summoned a lightning storm in an area but it was actually not lightning when a closer look was taken. They were miniature cracks in space that looked like mini lightning and it looked awesome.
